| 5:1 | Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. |
| 5:2 | Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. |
| 5:3 | And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the entire law. |
| 5:4 | Christ has become of no effect to you, those of you who are justified by law; you have fallen from grace. |
| 5:5 | Because, we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. |
| 5:6 | Because, in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. |
| 5:7 | You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? |
| 5:8 | This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. |
| 5:9 | A little leaven leavens the entire lump. |
| 5:10 | I have confidence in you, through the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is. |
| 5:11 | And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased. |
| 5:12 | I desire that those who trouble you were cut off. |
| 5:13 | Because you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. |
| 5:14 | Because all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." |
| 5:15 | But if you bite and devour one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another! |
| 5:16 | This I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. |
| 5:17 | Because, the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you want. |
| 5:18 | But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. |
| 5:19 | Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness, |
| 5:20 | idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, fights, jealousies, rage, selfish ambitions, rebellion, heresies, |
| 5:21 | envy, murders, drunkenness, partying, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 5:22 | But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, |
| 5:23 | meekness, self control. Against such there is no law. |
| 5:24 | And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. |
| 5:25 | If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. |
| 5:26 | Let us not desire vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. |
| 5:1 | Stand fast therefore in the libertie wherewith Christ hath made vs free, and be not intangled againe with the yoke of bondage. |
| 5:2 | Beholde, I Paul say vnto you, that if yee be circumcised, Christ shall profite you nothing. |
| 5:3 | For I testifie againe to euery man, which is circumcised, that he is bound to keepe the whole Lawe. |
| 5:4 | Ye are abolished from Christ: whosoeuer are iustified by the Law, ye are fallen from grace. |
| 5:5 | For we through the Spirit waite for the hope of righteousnes through faith. |
| 5:6 | For in Iesus Christ neither circumcision auaileth any thing, neither vncircumcision, but faith which worketh by loue. |
| 5:7 | Ye did runne well: who did let you, that ye did not obey the trueth? |
| 5:8 | It is not the perswasion of him that calleth you. |
| 5:9 | A litle leauen doeth leauen the whole lumpe. |
| 5:10 | I haue trust in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but hee that troubleth you, shall beare his condemnation, whosoeuer he be. |
| 5:11 | And brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why doe I yet suffer persecution? Then is the slaunder of the crosse abolished. |
| 5:12 | Would to God they were euen cut off, which doe disquiet you. |
| 5:13 | For brethren, ye haue bene called vnto libertie: onely vse not your libertie as an occasion vnto the flesh, but by loue serue one another. |
| 5:14 | For all the Lawe is fulfilled in one worde, which is this, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe. |
| 5:15 | If ye bite and deuoure one another, take heede least ye be consumed one of another. |
| 5:16 | Then I say, Walke in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lustes of the flesh. |
| 5:17 | For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary one to another, so that ye can not doe the same things that ye would. |
| 5:18 | And if ye be led by the Spirit, ye are not vnder the Lawe. |
| 5:19 | Moreouer the workes of the flesh are manifest, which are adulterie, fornication, vncleannes, wantonnes, |
| 5:20 | Idolatrie, witchcraft, hatred, debate, emulations, wrath, contentions, seditions, heresies, |
| 5:21 | Enuie, murthers, drunkennesse, gluttonie, and such like, whereof I tell you before, as I also haue tolde you before, that they which doe such things, shall not inherite the kingdome of God. |
| 5:22 | But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth, |
| 5:23 | Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe. |
| 5:24 | For they that are Christes, haue crucified the flesh with the affections and the lustes. |
| 5:25 | If we liue in the Spirit, let vs also walke in the Spirit. |
| 5:26 | Let vs not be desirous of vaine glorie, prouoking one another, enuying one another. |
| 5:1 | Stond fast therfore in ye libertie wher with Christ hath made vs fre and wrappe not youre selves agayne in ye yoke of bondage. |
| 5:2 | Beholde I Paul saye vnto you that yf ye be circumcised Christ shall proffit you nothinge at all. |
| 5:3 | I testifie agayne to every man which is circumcised that he is bounde to kepe the whole lawe. |
| 5:4 | Ye are gone quyte fro Christ as many as are iustified by the lawe and are fallen from grace. |
| 5:5 | We loke for and hope in the sprite to be iustified thorow fayth. |
| 5:6 | For in Iesu Christ nether is circumcision enythinge worth nether yet vncircocision but faith which by love is mighty in operacion. |
| 5:7 | Ye did runne well: who was a let vnto you that ye shuld not obey the trueth? |
| 5:8 | Eve that counsell that is not of him that called you. |
| 5:9 | A lytell leven doth leven the whole lompe of dowe. |
| 5:10 | I have trust towarde you in the Lorde yt ye wyll be none other wyse mynded. He that troubleth you shall beare his iudgemet what soever he be. |
| 5:11 | Brethren yf I yet preache circucision: why do I then yet suffre persecucion? For then had the offence which the crosse geveth ceased. |
| 5:12 | I wolde to God they were seperated from you which trouble you. |
| 5:13 | Brethre ye were called in to (libertie) only let not youre libertie be an occasion vnto the flesshe but in love serve one another. |
| 5:14 | For all ye lawe is fulfilled in one worde which is this: thou shalt love thyne neghbour as thy selfe. |
| 5:15 | Yf ye byte and devoure one another: take hede lest ye be consumed one of another. |
| 5:16 | I saye walke in the sprete and fulfill not ye lustes of ye flesshe. |
| 5:17 | For ye flesshe lusteth contrary to ye sprete and ye sprete cotrary to ye flesshe. Tese are cotrary one to the other so yt ye canot do that which ye wolde. |
| 5:18 | But and yf ye be ledde of the sprete then are ye not vnder the lawe. |
| 5:19 | The dedes of the flesshe are manyfest whiche are these advoutrie fornicacio vnclenes wantannes |
| 5:20 | ydolatrye witchecraft hatred variaunce zele wrath stryfe sedicion sectes |
| 5:21 | envyinge murther dronkenes glottony and soche lyke: of the which I tell you before as I have tolde you in tyme past that they which comit soche thinges shall not inherite ye kyngdome of God. |
| 5:22 | But ye frute of sprete is loue ioye peace longesufferinge getlenes goodnes faythfulnes |

| 5:24 | They ye are Christis have crucified the flesshe with the appetites and lustes |
| 5:25 | Yf we lyve in the sprete let vs walke in the sprete. |
