Ephesians - Chapter: 2

>
2:1And you hath he quickened also that were deade in treaspas & synne,
2:2in the whiche in time passed, yet walked accordynge to the course of thys worlde, & after the gouerner that ruleth in the ayer, the spyrite that nowe worketh in the chyldren of vnbelefe,
2:3amonge whiche we also had our conuersation in tyme paste, in the lustes of oure fleshe, and fulfylled the wyll of the fleshe and of the mynde, and were naturallye the chyldren of wrath, euen as well as other.
2:4But God whiche is ryche in mercye thorow his great loue wherewith he loued vs,
2:5euen when we were dead by synne, hath quickened vs together in Christ (for by grace are ye saued)
2:6and hath rayseth vs vp together, & made vs sitte together in heauenly thynges thorowe Christ Iesu,
2:7for to shewe in tymes to come the excedinge riches of hys grace in kyndnes to vswarde in Christe Iesus.
2:8For by grace are ye made safe thorowe fayth, and that not of youre selues. For it is the gyfte of God,
2:9and commeth not of workes, leste anye man should bost him selfe.
2:10For we are his worckmanshyp created in Christe Iesus to good workes, vnto the, whyche God ordeined vs before, that we should walke in them.
2:11Wherfore remember that ye, beynge in tyme passed Gentyles in fleshe, and were called vncircumcision to them whiche are called circumcision in the fleshe, whiche circumcision is made by handes:
2:12Remember I saye, that ye were at that tyme without Christe, and were reputed aliantes from the commen welth of Israel, and were straungers from the testamentes of promes, and had no hope and were wythout God in thys worlde.
2:13But nowe in Christ Iesu, ye whych a whyle ago were farre of are made nygh by the bloud of Christe.
2:14For he is our peace, whiche had made of both one, and hath broken doune the wall that was a stop betwene vs,
2:15and hath also put awaye thorowe hys fleshe the cause of hatred (that is to saye, the lawe of commaundementes contayned in the lawe written) for to make of twayne one newe man in hym selfe, so makinge peace:
2:16and to reconcile both vnto God in one body thorowe his crosse, and slew hatered therby:
2:17and came and preached peace to you, whiche were a farre of, and to them that were nygh.
2:18For thorowe hym we both haue an open waye in, in one spyrite vnto the father.
2:19Nowe therfore ye are no more straungers and foreners, but citizyns with the sainctes, and of the houshold of God:
2:20and are buylt vpon the foundation of the Apostles & Prophetes, Iesus Christe beynge the head corner stone,
2:21in whom euerye buyldinge coupled together, groweth vnto an holye temple in the Lorde,
2:22in whom ye also are buylde together, and made an habitacion for god in the spyryte.

2:1And you hath he quickened where as ye were deed in treaspasses and synnes,
2:2in the which in tyme passed ye walked, accordyng to the course of this worlde, euen after the gouerner that ruleth in the ayer, the sprete that nowe worketh in the chyldren of vnbelefe
2:3amonge whom we all had oure conuersacyon also in tyme past, in the lustes of oure flesshe, and fulfylled the wyll of the flesshe and of the mynde: and were by nature the chyldren of wrath, euen as well as other.
2:4But God which is riche in mercy (for his greate loue wher with he loued vs,
2:5euen when we were deed by synnes) quyckened vs together in Christ (by grace are ye saued)
2:6and raysed vs vp together with hym and made vs sytte together with him amonge them of heauen in Christ Iesu.
2:7That in tymes to come he myght shewe the exceadynge, ryches of hys grace, in kyndnes to vs warde thorowe Chryst Iesu.
2:8For by grace are ye made safe thorow fayth, and that not of youre selues. It is the gyfte of God,
2:9and commeth not of workes, lest eny man shulde boast him selfe
2:10For we are his worckmanshyppe, created in Chryst Iesu vnto good workes, whiche God ordeyned, that we shulde walke in them.
2:11Wherfore, remember that ye beynge in tyme passed gentyls in the flesshe, were called vncircumcisyon from that whych is called circumcisyon in the flesshe, which circumcision is made by handes:
2:12remember (I saye) that at that tyme ye were without Chryst, beynge aliauntes from the comen welth of Israel, and straungers from the testamentes of the promes hauynge no hope, and beynge with out God in this worlde.
2:13But nowe by the meanes of Christ Iesu, ye which somtyme were farre of, are made nye by the bloude of Chryst.
2:14For he is oure peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken downe the wall that was a stoppe betwene vs,
2:15and hath also put awaye thorowe his flesshe, the cause of hatred, euen the lawe of commaundementes contayned in the lawe wrytten, for to make of twayne one newe man in hym selfe, so makynge peace,
2:16and to reconcyle both vnto God in one body thorowe the crosse, & slewe hatred therby:
2:17and came, and preached peace to you which were a farre of, and to them that were nye.
2:18For thorowe hym we both haue an intraunce, in one sprete vnto the father.
2:19Now therfore, ye are not straungers, and foreyners: but citesyns with the sayntes & of the housholde of God:
2:20and are buylt vpon the foundacyon of the Apostles and Prophetes, Iesus Chryst him selfe beynge the heed corner stone,
2:21in whom what buyldynge soeuer is coupled together, it groweth vnto an holy temple in the Lorde,
2:22in whom ye also are buylt together, to be an habitacion of God thorowe the ghost.

2:1And you hath he quickened, that were dead in trespasses and sinnes,
2:2Wherein, in times past ye walked, according to the course of this world, and after the prince that ruleth in the aire, euen the spirite, that nowe worketh in the children of disobedience,
2:3Among whom we also had our conuersation in time past, in the lustes of our flesh, in fulfilling the will of the flesh, and of the minde, and were by nature the children of wrath, as well as others.
2:4But God which is rich in mercie, through his great loue wherewith he loued vs,
2:5Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued,
2:6And hath raysed vs vp together, and made vs sit together in the heauenly places in Christ Iesus,
2:7That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus.
2:8For by grace are ye saued through faith, and that not of your selues: it is the gift of God,
2:9Not of workes, least any man should boast himselfe.
2:10For we are his workemanship created in Christ Iesus vnto good workes, which God hath ordeined, that we should walke in them.
2:11Wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, and called vncircumcision of them, which are called circumcision in the flesh, made with hands,
2:12That ye were, I say, at that time without Christ, and were alients from the common wealth of Israel, and were strangers from the couenants of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in the world.
2:13But nowe in Christ Iesus, ye which once were farre off, are made neere by the blood of Christ.
2:14For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken the stoppe of the partition wall,
2:15In abrogating through his flesh the hatred, that is, the Lawe of commandements which standeth in ordinances, for to make of twaine one newe man in himselfe, so making peace,
2:16And that he might reconcile both vnto God in one body by his crosse, and slay hatred thereby,
2:17And came, and preached peace to you which were afarre off, and to them that were neere.
2:18For through him we both haue an entrance vnto the Father by one Spirit.
2:19Nowe therefore ye are no more strangers and forreiners: but citizens with the Saintes, and of the houshold of God,
2:20And are built vpon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Iesus Christ himselfe being the chiefe corner stone,
2:21In whom all the building coupled together, groweth vnto an holy Temple in the Lord.
2:22In whom ye also are built together to be the habitation of God by the Spirit.
