>
3:1For the grace of this thing I Poul, the boundun of Crist Jhesu, for you hethene men,
3:2if netheles ye han herd the dispensacioun of Goddis grace, that is youun to me in you.
3:3For bi reuelacioun the sacrament is maad knowun to me, as Y aboue wroot in schort thing,
3:4as ye moun rede, and vndurstonde my prudence in the mysterie of Crist.
3:5Which was not knowun to othere generaciouns to the sones of men, as it is now schewid to his hooli apostlis and prophetis in the spirit,
3:6that hethene men ben euen eiris, and of oo bodi, and parteneris togidere of his biheest in Crist Jhesu bi the euangelie;
3:7whos mynystre Y am maad, bi the yifte of Goddis grace, which is youun to me bi the worchyng of his vertu.
3:8To me, leeste of alle seyntis, this grace is youun to preche among hethene men the vnserchable richessis of Crist, and to liytne alle men,
3:9which is the dispensacioun of sacrament hid fro worldis in God, that made alle thingis of nouyt;
3:10that the myche fold wisdom of God be knowun to princis and potestatis in heuenli thingis bi the chirche,
3:11bi the bifore ordinaunce of worldis, which he made in Crist Jhesu oure Lord.
3:12In whom we han trist and nyy comyng, in tristenyng bi the feith of hym.
3:13For which thing Y axe, that ye faile not in my tribulaciouns for you, which is youre glorie.
3:14For grace of this thing Y bowe my knees to the fadir of oure Lord Jhesu Crist,
3:15of whom ech fadirhod in heuenes and in erthe is named,
3:16that he yyue to you, aftir the richessis of his glorie, vertu to be strengthid bi his spirit in the ynnere man,
3:17that Crist dwelle bi feith in youre hertis; that ye rootid and groundid in charite,
3:18moun comprehende with alle seyntis, which is the breede, and the lengthe, and the hiynesse, and the depnesse;
3:19also to wite the charite of Crist more excellent than science, that ye be fillid in al the plentee of God.
3:20And to hym that is myyti to do alle thingis more plenteuousli than we axen or vndurstondun, bi the vertu that worchith in vs,
3:21to hym be glorie in the chirche, and in Crist Jhesu, in to alle the generaciouns of the world of worldis. Amen.

3:1For this cause, I Paul am the prisoner of Iesus Christ for you Gentiles,
3:2If ye haue heard of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is giuen me to you warde,
3:3That is, that God by reuelation hath shewed this mysterie vnto me (as I wrote aboue in fewe wordes,
3:4Whereby when ye reade, ye may knowe mine vnderstanding in the mysterie of Christ)
3:5Which in other ages was not opened vnto the sonnes of men, as it is nowe reueiled vnto his holy Apostles and Prophets by the Spirit,
3:6That the Gentiles should be inheriters also, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the Gospel,
3:7Whereof I am made a minister by the gift of the grace of God giuen vnto me through the effectuall working of his power.
3:8Euen vnto me the least of all Saints is this grace giuen, that I should preach among the Gentiles the vnsearchable riches of Christ,
3:9And to make cleare vnto all men what the fellowship of the mysterie is, which from the beginning of the world hath bene hid in God, who hath created all things by Iesus Christ,
3:10To the intent, that nowe vnto principalities and powers in heauenly places, might be knowen by the Church the manifolde wisedome of God,
3:11According to the eternall purpose, which he wrought in Christ Iesus our Lord:
3:12By whom we haue boldenes and entrance with confidence, by faith in him.
3:13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for your sakes, which is your glory.
3:14For this cause I bowe my knees vnto the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ,
3:15(Of whom is named the whole familie in heauen and in earth)
3:16That he might graunt you according to the riches of his glorie, that ye may be strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man,
3:17That Christ may dwell in your heartes by faith:
3:18That ye, being rooted and grounded in loue, may be able to comprehend with al Saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height:
3:19And to knowe the loue of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled with all fulnesse of God.
3:20Vnto him therefore that is able to do exceeding aboundantly aboue all that we aske or thinke, according to the power that worketh in vs,
3:21Be praise in the Church by Christ Iesus, throughout all generations for euer, Amen.

3:1For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
3:2if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,
3:3how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,
3:4by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
3:5which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
3:6that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,
3:7of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
3:8To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
3:9and to make all people see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things by Jesus Christ;
3:10to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
3:11according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
3:12in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.
3:13Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
3:14For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
3:15from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
3:16that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man,
3:17that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
3:18may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height,
3:19to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
3:20Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
3:21to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever and ever. Amen.
