| 3:1 | Moreouer my brethren, reioyce in the Lorde. It greueth me not to write one thinge often to you. For to you it is a sure thynge. |
| 3:2 | Beware of dogges, beware of euyll workes. Beware of dyssencyon. |
| 3:3 | For we are cyrcumcysion, whyche worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christe Iesu, and haue no confidence in the fleshe, |
| 3:4 | though I haue wherof I might reioice in the fleshe. If any other man thinke that he hath wherof he mighte truste in the fleshe, much more I, |
| 3:5 | circumcised the eighte daye, of the kynred of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Hebrue borne of the Hebrues: as concerninge the lawe, a pharisey, |
| 3:6 | and as concerning feruentnes, I persecuted the congregation, & as touching the ryghtuousnes, whiche is in the lawe, I was vnrebukeable. |
| 3:7 | But the thinges that were vauntage vnto me. I counted losse for Christes sake. |
| 3:8 | Yea I thinke al thinges but losse for that excellent knowledge sake of Christ Iesu my Lord. For whom I haue counted al thinges losse, and do iudge them but dounge, that I myght wynne Christe, |
| 3:9 | and might be founde in hym, not hauinge mine owne rightuousnes, which is of the lawe, but that whyche spryngeth of the fayth, is in CHRISTE. I meane the rightuousnes, whiche commeth of God thorowe fait |
| 3:10 | in knowinge him and the vertue of his resurreccion, & the fellowshippe of hys passyons, that I myghte be conformable vnto his death, |
| 3:11 | yf by anye meanes I myght atteyne vnto the resurreccyon from death. |
| 3:12 | Not as though I had alreadie atteined to it, either were already perfecte: but I folowe yf that I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended of Christ Iesu. |
| 3:13 | Brethren I count not my selfe that I haue gotten it: but one thinge I say. I forget that, whiche is behinde, & stretche my selfe vnto that whiche is before, |
| 3:14 | and prease vnto the marke appointed, to obteine the reward of the high callinge of God in Christe Iesu. |
| 3:15 | Let vs therfore as many, as be perfect be thus wyse minded, & yf ye be other wise minded, I pray God open euen this vnto you. |
| 3:16 | Neuertheles in the, whervnto we are come, let vs procede by one rule, that we may be of one accord. |
| 3:17 | Brethren be folowers of me, and loke on them which walke euen so, as ye haue vs for an ensample. |
| 3:18 | For many walke (of whom I haue tolde you often, and nowe tel you weping) that they are the enemies of the crosse of Christ, |
| 3:19 | whose ende is dampnation, whose God is theyr belye, and whose glorye is to theyr shame, whiche are worldlye minded. |
| 3:20 | But oure conuersation is in heauen, from whence we loke for a sauiour, euen the Lorde Iesus Christ, |
| 3:21 | whiche shal chaunge oure vyle bodies, that they maie be fashioned like vnto his glorious bodie, accordinge to the working, wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto him selfe. |
| 3:1 | Moreouer, my brethren, reioyce in the Lord. It grieueth mee not to write the same things to you, and for you it is a sure thing. |
| 3:2 | Beware of dogges: beware of euil workers: beware of the concision. |
| 3:3 | For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh: |
| 3:4 | Though I might also haue confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, much more I, |
| 3:5 | Circumcised the eight day, of the kinred of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Ebrewe of the Ebrewes, by the Lawe a Pharise. |
| 3:6 | Concerning zeale, I persecuted ye Church: touching the righteousnesse which is in the Law, I was vnrebukeable. |
| 3:7 | But the thinges that were vantage vnto me, the same I counted losse for Christes sake. |
| 3:8 | Yea, doubtlesse I thinke all thinges but losse for the excellent knowledge sake of Christ Iesus my Lord, for whome I haue counted all things losse, and doe iudge them to bee dongue, that I might winne Christ, |
| 3:9 | And might bee founde in him, that is, not hauing mine owne righteousnesse, which is of the Lawe, but that which is through the faith of Christ, euen the righteousnesse which is of God through faith, |
| 3:10 | That I may know him, and the vertue of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his afflictions, and be made conformable vnto his death, |
| 3:11 | If by any meanes I might attaine vnto the resurrection of the dead: |
| 3:12 | Not as though I had alreadie attained to it, either were alreadie perfect: but I follow, if that I may comprehend that for whose sake also I am comprehended of Christ Iesus. |
| 3:13 | Brethren, I count not my selfe, that I haue attained to it, but one thing I doe: I forget that which is behinde, and endeuour my selfe vnto that which is before, |
| 3:14 | And follow hard toward the marke, for the prise of the hie calling of God in Christ Iesus. |
| 3:15 | Let vs therefore as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if yee be otherwise minded, God shall reueile euen the same vnto you. |
| 3:16 | Neuerthelesse, in that whereunto wee are come, let vs proceede by one rule, that wee may minde one thing. |
| 3:17 | Brethren, bee followers of mee, and looke on them, which walke so, as yee haue vs for an ensample. |
| 3:18 | For many walke, of whom I haue told you often, and nowe tell you weeping, that they are the enemies of the Crosse of Christ: |
| 3:19 | Whose ende is damnation, whose God is their bellie, and whose glorie is to their shame, which minde earthly things. |
| 3:20 | But our conuersation is in heauen, from whence also we looke for the Sauiour, euen the Lord Iesus Christ, |
| 3:21 | Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may be fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby hee is able euen to subdue all things vnto him selfe. |
| 3:1 | Finally, my brethren, reioyce in the Lorde. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grieuous: but for you it is safe. |
| 3:2 | Beware of dogs, beware of euill workers: beware of the concision. |
| 3:3 | For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh. |
| 3:4 | Though I might also haue confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that hee hath whereof hee might trust in the flesh, I more: |
| 3:5 | Circumcised the eight day, of the stocke of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrewes, as touching the Law, a Pharise: |
| 3:6 | Concerning zeale, persecuting the Church: touching the righteousnesse which is in the Law, blamelesse. |
| 3:7 | But what things were gaine to me, those I counted losse for Christ. |
| 3:8 | Yea doubtlesse, and I count all things but losse, for the excellencie of the knowledge of Christ Iesus my Lord: for whom I haue suffered the losse of all things, and doe count them but doung, that I may win Christ, |
| 3:9 | And be found in him, not hauing mine owne righteousnesse, which is of the Law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousnesse which is of God by faith: |
| 3:10 | That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable vnto his death, |
| 3:11 | If by any meanes I might attaine vnto the resurrection of the dead. |
| 3:12 | Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Iesus. |
| 3:13 | Brethren, I count not my selfe to haue apprehended: but this one thing I doe, forgetting those things which are behinde, and reaching forth vnto those things which are before, |
| 3:14 | I presse toward the marke, for the price of the high calling of God in Christ Iesus. |
| 3:15 | Let vs therefore, as many as bee perfect, bee thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shal reueale euen this vnto you. |
| 3:16 | Neuerthelesse, whereto wee haue alreadie attained, let vs walke by the same rule, let vs minde the same thing. |
| 3:17 | Brethren, be followers together of me, and marke them which walke so, as ye haue vs for an ensample. |
| 3:18 | (For many walke, of whome I haue told you often, and now tell you euen weeping, that they are the enemies of the crosse of Christ: |
| 3:19 | Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glorie is in their shame, who minde earthly things.) |
| 3:20 | For our conuersation is in heauen, from whence also we looke for the Sauiour, the Lord Iesus Christ: |
| 3:21 | Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may bee fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able euen to subdue all things vnto himselfe. |
