Philippians - Chapter: 3

>
n/a

3:1Moreouer, my brethren, reioyce in the Lord. It grieueth mee not to write the same things to you, and for you it is a sure thing.
3:2Beware of dogges: beware of euil workers: beware of the concision.
3:3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh:
3:4Though I might also haue confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, much more I,
3:5Circumcised the eight day, of the kinred of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Ebrewe of the Ebrewes, by the Lawe a Pharise.
3:6Concerning zeale, I persecuted ye Church: touching the righteousnesse which is in the Law, I was vnrebukeable.
3:7But the thinges that were vantage vnto me, the same I counted losse for Christes sake.
3:8Yea, doubtlesse I thinke all thinges but losse for the excellent knowledge sake of Christ Iesus my Lord, for whome I haue counted all things losse, and doe iudge them to bee dongue, that I might winne Christ,
3:9And might bee founde in him, that is, not hauing mine owne righteousnesse, which is of the Lawe, but that which is through the faith of Christ, euen the righteousnesse which is of God through faith,
3:10That I may know him, and the vertue of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his afflictions, and be made conformable vnto his death,
3:11If by any meanes I might attaine vnto the resurrection of the dead:
3:12Not as though I had alreadie attained to it, either were alreadie perfect: but I follow, if that I may comprehend that for whose sake also I am comprehended of Christ Iesus.
3:13Brethren, I count not my selfe, that I haue attained to it, but one thing I doe: I forget that which is behinde, and endeuour my selfe vnto that which is before,
3:14And follow hard toward the marke, for the prise of the hie calling of God in Christ Iesus.
3:15Let vs therefore as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if yee be otherwise minded, God shall reueile euen the same vnto you.
3:16Neuerthelesse, in that whereunto wee are come, let vs proceede by one rule, that wee may minde one thing.
3:17Brethren, bee followers of mee, and looke on them, which walke so, as yee haue vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke, of whom I haue told you often, and nowe tell you weeping, that they are the enemies of the Crosse of Christ:
3:19Whose ende is damnation, whose God is their bellie, and whose glorie is to their shame, which minde earthly things.
3:20But our conuersation is in heauen, from whence also we looke for the Sauiour, euen the Lord Iesus Christ,
3:21Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may be fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby hee is able euen to subdue all things vnto him selfe.

3:1Morover my brethren reioyce in the lorde. It greveth me not to write one thinge often to you. For to you it is a sure thynge.
3:2Beware of dogges beware of evyll workers. Beware of dissencion.
3:3For we are circucision which worshippe god in the sprete and reioyce in Christ Iesu and have no confidence in the flesshe:
3:4though I have wherof I myght reioyce in the flesshe. Yf eny other man thynketh that he hath wherof he myght trust in the flesshe: moche moare I:
3:5circumcised the eyght daye of ye kynred of Israhell of ye trybe of Beniamyn an Ebrue borne of ye Ebrues: as concernynge the lawe a pharisaye
3:6and as concernynge fervetnes I perseuted the congregacion and as touchynge the rightewesnes which is in the lawe I was vnrebukable.
3:7But the thynges that were vauntage vnto me I counted losse for Christes sake.
3:8Ye I thinke all thynges but losse for that excellet knowledges sake of Christ Iesu my lorde. For whom I have counted all thynge losse and do iudge them but donge that I myght wynne Christ
3:9and myght be founde in him not havynge myne awne rightewesnes which is of the lawe: But that which spryngeth of the fayth which is in Christ. I meane the rightewesnes which cometh of God thorowe fayth
3:10in knowynge him and the vertue of his resurreccion and the fellowshippe of his passions that I myght be coformable vnto his (deeth)
3:11yf by eny meanes I myght attayne vnto the resurreccion from deeth.
3:12Not as though I had all redy attayned to it Ether were all redy parfect: but I folowe yf yt I maye comprehende that wherin I am comprehended of Christ Iesu.
3:13Brethren I counte not my silfe that I have gotten it: but one thynge I saye: I forget yt which is behynde and stretche my silfe vnto that which is before
3:14and preace vnto ye marke apoynted to obtayne the rewarde of the hye callynge of god in Christ Iesu.
3:15Let vs therfore as many as be perfect be thus wyse minded: and yf ye be other wyse mynded I praye God open even this vnto you.
3:16Neverthelesse in that wher vnto we are come let vs procede by one rule yt we maye be of one acorde.
3:17Brethren be folowers of and me loke on them which walke even so as ye have vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke (of whom I have tolde you often and now tell you wepynge) that they are ye enemyes of ye crosse of Christ
3:19whose ende is dampnacio whose God is their bely and whose glory is to their shame which are worldely mynded.
3:20But oure conversacion is in heven from whence we loke for a saveour enen the lorde Iesus Christ
3:21which shall chaunge oure vile bodies that they maye be fassioned lyke vnto his glorious body acordinge to the workynge wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto hym silfe.
