Deuteronomy - Chapter: 30


30:1	And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
30:2	And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
30:3	That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
30:4	If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
30:5	And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
30:6	And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
30:7	And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
30:8	And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
30:9	And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
30:10	If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
30:11	For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
30:12	It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
30:13	Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
30:14	But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
30:15	See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
30:16	In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
30:17	But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
30:18	I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
30:19	I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
30:20	That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.


30:1	והיה כי יבאו עליך כל הדברים האלה הברכה והקללה אשׁר נתתי לפניך והשׁבת אל לבבך בכל הגוים אשׁר הדיחך יהוה אלהיך שׁמה׃
30:2	ושׁבת עד יהוה אלהיך ושׁמעת בקלו ככל אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום אתה ובניך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשׁך׃
30:3	ושׁב יהוה אלהיך את שׁבותך ורחמך ושׁב וקבצך מכל העמים אשׁר הפיצך יהוה אלהיך שׁמה׃
30:4	אם יהיה נדחך בקצה השׁמים משׁם יקבצך יהוה אלהיך ומשׁם יקחך׃
30:5	והביאך יהוה אלהיך אל הארץ אשׁר ירשׁו אבתיך וירשׁתה והיטבך והרבך מאבתיך׃
30:6	ומל יהוה אלהיך את לבבך ואת לבב זרעך לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשׁך למען חייך׃
30:7	ונתן יהוה אלהיך את כל האלות האלה על איביך ועל שׂנאיך אשׁר רדפוך׃
30:8	ואתה תשׁוב ושׁמעת בקול יהוה ועשׂית את כל מצותיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום׃
30:9	והותירך יהוה אלהיך בכל מעשׂה ידך בפרי בטנך ובפרי בהמתך ובפרי אדמתך לטבה כי ישׁוב יהוה לשׂושׂ עליך לטוב כאשׁר שׂשׂ על אבתיך׃
30:10	כי תשׁמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשׁמר מצותיו וחקתיו הכתובה בספר התורה הזה כי תשׁוב אל יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשׁך׃
30:11	כי המצוה הזאת אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לא נפלאת הוא ממך ולא רחקה הוא׃
30:12	לא בשׁמים הוא לאמר מי יעלה לנו השׁמימה ויקחה לנו וישׁמענו אתה ונעשׂנה׃
30:13	ולא מעבר לים הוא לאמר מי יעבר לנו אל עבר הים ויקחה לנו וישׁמענו אתה ונעשׂנה׃
30:14	כי קרוב אליך הדבר מאד בפיך ובלבבך לעשׂתו׃
30:15	ראה נתתי לפניך היום את החיים ואת הטוב ואת המות ואת הרע׃
30:16	אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך ללכת בדרכיו ולשׁמר מצותיו וחקתיו ומשׁפטיו וחיית ורבית וברכך יהוה אלהיך בארץ אשׁר אתה בא שׁמה לרשׁתה׃
30:17	ואם יפנה לבבך ולא תשׁמע ונדחת והשׁתחוית לאלהים אחרים ועבדתם׃
30:18	הגדתי לכם היום כי אבד תאבדון לא תאריכן ימים על האדמה אשׁר אתה עבר את הירדן לבוא שׁמה לרשׁתה׃
30:19	העדתי בכם היום את השׁמים ואת הארץ החיים והמות נתתי לפניך הברכה והקללה ובחרת בחיים למען תחיה אתה וזרעך׃
30:20	לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך לשׁמע בקלו ולדבקה בו כי הוא חייך וארך ימיך לשׁבת על האדמה אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב לתת להם׃


30:1	`And it hath been, when all these things come upon thee, the blessing and the reviling, which I have set before thee, and thou hast brought `them' back unto thy heart, among all the nations whither Jehovah thy God hath driven thee away,
30:2	and hast turned back unto Jehovah thy God, and hearkened to His voice, according to all that I am commanding thee to-day, thou and thy sons, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul --
30:3	then hath Jehovah thy God turned back `to' thy captivity, and pitied thee, yea, He hath turned back and gathered thee out of all the peoples whither Jehovah thy God hath scattered thee.
30:4	`If thine outcast is in the extremity of the heavens, thence doth Jehovah thy God gather thee, and thence He doth take thee;
30:5	and Jehovah thy God hath brought thee in unto the land which thy fathers have possessed, and thou hast inherited it, and He hath done thee good, and multiplied thee above thy fathers.
30:6	`And Jehovah thy God hath circumcised thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, for the sake of thy life;
30:7	and Jehovah thy God hath put all this oath on thine enemies, and on those hating thee, who have pursued thee.
30:8	`And thou dost turn back, and hast hearkened to the voice of Jehovah, and hast done all His commands which I am commanding thee to-day;
30:9	and Jehovah thy God hath made thee abundant in every work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, for good; for Jehovah turneth back to rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers,
30:10	for thou dost hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep His commands, and His statutes, which are written in the book of this law, for thou turnest back unto Jehovah thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.
30:11	`For this command which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not too wonderful for thee, nor `is' it far off.
30:12	It is not in the heavens, -- saying, Who doth go up for us into the heavens, and doth take it for us, and doth cause us to hear it -- that we may do it.
30:13	And it `is' not beyond the sea, -- saying, Who doth pass over for us beyond the sea, and doth take it for us, and doth cause us to hear it -- that we may do it?
30:14	For very near unto thee is the word, in thy mouth, and in thy heart -- to do it.
30:15	`See, I have set before thee to-day life and good, and death and evil,
30:16	in that I am commanding thee to-day to love Jehovah thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments; and thou hast lived and multiplied, and Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in the land whither thou art going in to possess it.
30:17	`And if thy heart doth turn, and thou dost not hearken, and hast been driven away, and hast bowed thyself to other gods, and served them,
30:18	I have declared to you this day, that ye do certainly perish, ye do not prolong days on the ground which thou art passing over the Jordan to go in thither to possess it.
30:19	`I have caused to testify against you to-day the heavens and the earth; life and death I have set before thee, the blessing and the reviling; and thou hast fixed on life, so that thou dost live, thou and thy seed,
30:20	to love Jehovah thy God, to hearken to His voice, and to cleave to Him (for He `is' thy life, and the length of thy days), to dwell on the ground which Jehovah hath sworn to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them.'
