Colossians - Chapter: 4

>
4:1Ye maisters do vnto your seruauntes, that which is iuste and equall, sayng: ye know that ye also haue a maister in heauen.
4:2Contynue in prayer & watch in the same wyth thankes geuynge,
4:3prayeng also for vs that God open vnto vs the dore of vtteraunce, that we maye speake the misterye of Christe (wherfore I am also in bondes)
4:4that I maye vtter it, as it becometh me to speake.
4:5Walke wiselye to them that are wythout and redeme the tyme.
4:6Let youre speache be alwayes well sauoured and poudred with salte, that ye maye knowe, howe to answere euery man.
4:7The deare brother Tichicus shal tell you of al my busines, whiche is a faithfull minyster, and felow seruaunt in the Lorde,
4:8whom I haue sent vnto you for the same purpose, that he mighte knowe howe ye do, & myght comforte your hertes,
4:9wyth one Onesimus, a faythfull and a beloued brother, whiche is one of you. They shall shewe you of al thinges, whiche are adoing here.
4:10Aristarchus my pryson felowe saluteth you and Marcus, Barnabas sisters sonne: touching whom ye receiued commaundementes. Yf he come vnto you, receiue him,
4:11and Iesus which is called Iustus, which are of the circumcision. These onely are my worke felowes vnto the kyngdome of God, whiche were vnto my consolacion.
4:12Epaphras the seruaunte of Christe, which is one of you, saluteth you, and alwaies laboureth feruentlye for you in prayers, that ye maye stande perfecte and full in all that is the wyll of God.
4:13I beare hym recorde, that he hath a feruent minde towarde you and towarde them of Laodicia and them of Hierapolis.
4:14Deare Lucas the Phisician greteth you, and Demas.
4:15Salute the brethren whiche are of Laodicia, and salute Nimphas, and the congregacion, which is in hys house.
4:16And when the Epistle is read of you, make that it be read in the congregacion of the Laodicians also and that ye lykewyse read the Epistle of Laodycya.
4:17And saye to Archippus: take hede to the offyce that thou hast receyued in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.
4:18The salutation by the hande of me Paule. Remembre my bondes. Grace be with you Amen.

4:7Tychicus our beloued brother and faithfull minister, and fellow seruant in the Lord, shall declare vnto you my whole state:
4:8Whom I haue sent vnto you for the same purpose that he might know your state, and might comfort your hearts,
4:9With Onesimus a faithfull and a beloued brother, who is one of you. They shall shew you of all things here.
4:10Aristarchus my prison fellow saluteth you, and Marcus, Barnabas cousin (touching whom ye receiued commandements. If he come vnto you, receiue him)
4:11And Iesus which is called Iustus, which are of the circumcision. These onely are my worke fellowes vnto the kingdome of God, which haue bene vnto my consolation.
4:12Epaphras the seruant of Christ, which is one of you, saluteth you, and alwayes striueth for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect, and full in all the will of God.
4:13For I beare him record, that he hath a great zeale for you, and for them of Laodicea, and them of Hierapolis.
4:14Luke the beloued physician greeteth you, and Demas.
4:15Salute the brethren which are of Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the Church which is in his house.
4:16And when this Epistle is read of you, cause that it be read in the Church of the Laodiceans also, and that ye likewise reade the Epistle written from Laodicea.
4:17And say to Archippus, Take heede to the ministerie, that thou hast receiued in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.
4:18The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bands. Grace be with you, Amen.

4:5Walke in wisdome toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
4:6Let your speech bee alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how yee ought to answere euery man.
4:7All my state shall Tychicus declare vnto you, who is a beloued brother, and a faithfull minister, and fellow seruant in the Lord:
4:8Whom I haue sent vnto you for the same purpose, that hee might know your estate, and comfort your hearts.
4:9With Onesimus a faithfull and beloued brother, who is one of you. They shall make knowen vnto you all things which are done here.
4:10Aristarchus my fellow prisoner saluteth you, and Marcus sisters sonne to Barnabas, (touching whome yee receiued commandements; if he come vnto you, receiue him:)
4:11And Iesus, which is called Iustus, who are of the circumcision. These onely are my fellow workers vnto the kingdome of God, which haue beene a comfort vnto me.
4:12Epaphras, who is one of you, a seruant of Christ, saluteth you, alwaies labouring feruently for you in praiers, that ye may stand perfect, and complete in all the will of God.
4:13For I beare him record, that hee hath a great zeale for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
4:14Luke the beloued physician, and Demas greet you.
4:15Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, & the church which is in his house.
4:16And when this Epistle is read amongst you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans: and that ye likewise reade the Epistle from Laodicea,
4:17And say to Archippus, Take heede to the ministerie, which thou hast receiued in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.
