>
3:1Wherfore sence we could no longer forbeare, it pleased vs to remayne at Athens alone,
3:2& sente Timotheus our brother and minister of God, and our laboure felowe in the Gospel of Christe, to stablishe you and to comforte you ouer youre fayth,
3:3that no man should be moued in these afflicons. For ye your selues knowe that we are euen appointed there vnto.
3:4For verelye when I was wyth you, I tolde you before that we shoulde suffer tribulacion, euen as it came to passe, and as ye know.
3:5For this cause when I coulde no longer forbeare, I sente, that I might haue knowledge of your fayth, least haplye the tempter had tempted you, and that oure labour had bene bestowed in vayne.
3:6But nowe lately when Timotheus came from you vnto vs, and declared to vs youre fayth & your loue, & howe that ye haue good remembraunce of vs alwayes, desyring to se vs as we desyre to se you.
3:7Therfore brethren we had consolacion in you and in all our aduersyte and necessitie, thorow your fayth.
3:8For nowe are we alyue, yf ye stande stedfast in the Lorde.
3:9For what thankes can we recompence to God again for you, ouer al the ioy that we ioy for your sakes before oure God
3:10whyl we nighte and daye praye excedinglye that we mighte se you presently, and might fulfill that which is lackynge in youre fayth.
3:11God him selfe our father, and our Lord Iesus Christ guide oure iorney to you:
3:12and the Lorde increase you and make you flow ouer in loue one towarde another and toward all men euen as we do toward you,
3:13to make your hertes stable & vnblameable in holynesse before God oure father, at the comminge of our Lorde Iesus wyth al hys sainctes.

3:1Wherfore, sence we coulde no lenger forbeare, we thought it good to remayne at Athens alone,
3:2and sent Timothe oure brother & mynyster of God, and the helper forth of oure laboure in the Gospell of Christ, to stablisshe you: and to conforte you concernyng our fayt
3:3that no man shulde be moued in these affliccyons, For ye your selues knowe, that we are euen apoynted there vnto.
3:4For when we were wyth you, we tolde you before, that we shude suffre tribulacyon, euen as it came to passe, and as ye knowe.
3:5For this cause when I coulde no lenger forbeare, I sent that I myght haue knowledge of youre fayth, lest by some meanes the tempter had tempted you, and lest oure laboure had bene bestowed in vayne.
3:6But now lately, when Timothe came from you vnto vs, & declared to vs your faith & your loue, & how that ye haue good remembraunce of vs allwayes, desyrynge to se vs as we also desyre to se you.
3:7Therfore brethren we receaued consolacyon by you, in all our aduersite & necessite, through your fayth.
3:8For now are we alyue, yf ye stande stedfast in the Lorde.
3:9For what thankes can we recompence to God agayne for you, ouer al the ioye, that we ioye for your sakes before our God:
3:10praying nyght and daye exceadyngly, that we might se you presently, and myght fulfyll the thynges which are lackynge vnto youre fayth.
3:11God him selfe oure father, and oure Lorde Iesus Christ shall gyde oure iorney vnto you:
3:12the Lord also shall increace you & make you flowe ouer in loue one toward another, and towarde all men, euen as we do toward you,
3:13that he maye make youre hertes stable & vnblameable, in holynes before God oure father, at the commynge of oure Lorde Iesus Christ with all saynctes.

3:1Wherefore since we could no longer forbare, wee thought it good to remaine at Athens alone,
3:2And haue sent Timotheus our brother and minister of God, and our labour felow in the Gospel of Christ, to stablish you, and to comfort you touching your faith,
3:3That no man should be moued with these afflictions: for ye your selues knowe, that we are appointed thereunto.
3:4For verily when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulations, euen as it came to passe, and ye knowe it.
3:5Euen for this cause, when I could no longer forbeare, I sent him that I might knowe of your faith, lest the tempter had tempted you in any sort, and that our labour had bene in vaine.
3:6But now lately when Timotheus came from you vnto vs, and brought vs good tidings of your faith and loue, and that ye haue good remembrance of vs alwayes, desiring to see vs, as we also do you,
3:7Therefore, brethren, we had consolation in you, in all our affliction and necessitie through your faith.
3:8For nowe are wee aliue, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
3:9For what thankes can wee recompense to God againe for you, for all the ioy wherewith we reioyce for your sakes before our God,
3:10Night and day, praying exceedingly that wee might see your face, and might accomplish that which is lacking in your faith?
3:11Nowe God himselfe, euen our Father, and our Lord Iesus Christ, guide our iourney vnto you,
3:12And the Lord increase you, and make you abound in loue one toward another, and towarde all men, euen as we doe toward you:
3:13To make your hearts stable and vnblameable in holines before God euen our Father, at the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ with all his Saints.
