2 Thessalonians - Chapter: 2

>
2:1We beseche you brethren by the commynge of oure Lorde Iesu Christe, and in that we shal assemble vnto hym,
2:2that ye be not sodenly moued fome your mynd, and be not troubled, neyther by spirite neyther by wordes, nor yet by letter whiche shoulde seme to come from vs, as thoughe the daye of Christe were at hande.
2:3Let no man deceyue you by any meanes, for the Lord commeth not, except there come a departyng first, and that, that sinful man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon
2:4whiche is an aduersarye, and is exalted aboue all that is called God, or that is worshypped: so that he shall sytte as God in the temple of God, and shewe hym selfe as God.
2:5Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I tolde you these thynges?
2:6And nowe ye knowe what withholdeth: euen that he myght be vttered at his tyme.
2:7For the mysterye of that iniquitie doeth he al ready work whiche onelye loketh vntyll it be taken out of the waye.
2:8And then shall that wicked be vttered, whome the Lorde shall consume with the spirite of hys mouth, and shall destroye wt the aperaunce of hys commynge.
2:9euen hym whose commynge is by the workynge of Sathan, with all liynge power, signes and wonders:
2:10and in all deceyuablenes of vnryghtuousnes, amonge them that peryshe: because they receyued not the loue of the truethe, that they myght haue bene sayed.
2:11And therfore God shall sende them stronge delusyon, that they shoulde beleue lyes:
2:12that all they myghte be damned which beleued not the trueth but had pleasure in vnryghtuousnes.
2:13But we are bounde to geue thankes alwaye to God for you brethren beloued of the Lorde, because that God hath from the beginnynge chosen you to saluacyon, thorow sanctifiynge of the spyryte, and thorowe beleuing the truet
2:14whereunto he called you by oure Gospell, to obtayne the glorye that commeth of oure Lorde Iesu Christe.
2:15Therfore brethren stande fast and kepe the ordinaunces which ye haue learned: whether it were by oure preachynge or by epistle.
2:16Our Lorde Iesu Christe hym selfe, and God oure father whiche hath loued vs and hath geuen vs euerlastynge consolatyon and good hope thorow grace,
2:17comforte youre hertes, and stablyshe you in all doctryne and good doynge.

2:3Let no man deceaue you by eny meanes, for the Lorde shall not come excepte ther come a departynge fyrst, and that that synfull man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon,
2:4whych is an aduersarye: and is exalted aboue all that is called God, or that is worshypped: so that he doth syt in the temple of God, boastynge him selfe to be God.
2:5Remember ye not, that when I was yet wyth you, I tolde you these thynges?
2:6And nowe ye know what wythholdeth: euen that he myght be vttered at hys tyme.
2:7For the mistery of the iniquitie doeth all readye worcke: tyll he which nowe onlye letteth, be taken out of the waye.
2:8And then shall that wycked be vttered, whom the Lorde shall consume with the sprete of his mouth, and shall destroye wyth the appearaunce of hys commynge
2:9euen hym whose commynge is after the workynge of Satan, with all lyinge power sygnes and wonders.
2:10and with all deceauablenes of vnryghtwesnes, amonge them that perysshe: because they receaued not the loue of the trueth, that they myght be saued.
2:11And therfore, God shall sende them stronge delusyon, that they shulde beleue lyes:
2:12that all they myght be damned, whych beleued not the trueth: but had pleasure in vnryghtewesnes.
2:13But we are bounde to geue thankes alwey to God for you (brethren beloued of the Lorde) for because that God hath from the begynnynge chosen you to saluacyon, thorowe sanctifyinge of the sprete, and thorow beleuing of the trueth,

2:16Oure Lorde Iesu Christ hym selfe, and God and oure father (which hath loued vs, and hath geuen vs euerlastynge consolacyon, and good hope thorowe grace)
2:17comforte your hertes and stablysshe you in all good sayenge and doynge.

2:3Let no man deceiue you by any meanes: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sinne be disclosed, euen the sonne of perdition,
2:4Which is an aduersarie, and exalteth him selfe against all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he doeth sit as God in the Temple of God, shewing him selfe that he is God.
2:5Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I tolde you these things?
2:6And nowe ye knowe what withholdeth that he might be reueiled in his time.
2:7For the mysterie of iniquitie doeth already worke: onely he which nowe withholdeth, shall let till he be taken out of the way.
2:8And then shall that wicked man be reueiled, whome the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth, and shall abolish with the brightnes of his comming,
2:9Euen him whose comming is by the effectuall working of Satan, with all power, and signes, and lying wonders,
2:10And in al deceiuablenes of vnrighteousnes, among them that perish, because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued.
2:11And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue lies,
2:12That all they might be damned which beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes.
2:13But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth,
2:14Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to obtaine the glory of our Lord Iesus Christ.
2:15Therefore, brethren, stand fast and keepe the instructions, which ye haue bene taught, either by worde, or by our Epistle.
2:16Now the same Iesus Christ our Lord; and our God euen the Father which hath loued vs, and hath giuen vs euerlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
2:17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in euery word and good worke.
