2 Thessalonians - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have a free course, and be glorified, just as it is with you,
3:2and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; because not everyone has faith.
3:3But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and keep you from evil.
3:4And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things that we command you.
3:5Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the perseverance for Christ.
3:6Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.
3:7Because you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, because we were not disorderly among you;
3:8Neither did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you,
3:9not because we do not have authority, but to make of ourselves an example of how you should follow us.
3:10Because, even when we were with you, we commanded you this: That if anyone will not work, neither should he eat.
3:11Because, we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.
3:12Now those who are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
3:13But as for you, brethren, do not become weary in doing good.
3:14And if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, note that person, and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.
3:15Yet count him not as an enemy, but instruct him as a brother.
3:16Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
3:17The salutation of Paul with my own hand, which is confirmation in every letter; so I write.
3:18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

3:1Furthermore, brethren, pray for vs, that the worde of the Lord may haue free passage and be glorified, euen as it is with you,
3:2And that we may be deliuered from vnreasonable and euill men: for all men haue not fayth.
3:3But the Lord is faithfull, which wil stablish you, and keepe you from euill.
3:4And we are perswaded of you through the Lord, that ye both doe, and will doe the things which we warne you of.
3:5And the Lord guide your hearts to the loue of God, and the waiting for of Christ.
3:6We warne you, brethren, in the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye withdrawe your selues from euery brother that walketh inordinately, and not after the instruction, which hee receiued of vs.
3:7For ye your selues know, how ye ought to follow vs: for we behaued not our selues inordinately among you,
3:8Neither tooke we bread of any man for nought: but we wrought with labour and trauaile night and day, because we would not be chargeable to any of you.
3:9Not because we haue not authoritie, but that we might make our selues an ensample vnto you to follow vs.
3:10For euen when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any, which would not worke, that he should not eate.
3:11For we heare, that there are some which walke among you inordinately, and worke not at all, but are busie bodies.
3:12Therefore them that are such, we warne and exhort by our Lord Iesus Christ, that they worke with quietnes, and eate their owne bread.
3:13And ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
3:14If any man obey not this our saying in this letter, note him, and haue no company with him, that he may be ashamed:
3:15Yet count him not as an enemie, but admonish him as a brother.
3:16Now the Lord himselfe of peace giue you peace alwayes by all meanes. The Lord be with you all.
3:17The salutation of me Paul, with mine owne hand, which is ye token in euery Epistle: so I write,
3:18The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you all, Amen.

3:1Furthermore brethren praye for vs yt the worde of god maye have fre passage and be gloryfied as it is with you:
3:2and that we maye be delivered from vnresonable and evyll men. For all men have not fayth:
3:3but the lorde is faythfull which shall stablysshe you and kepe you from evyll.
3:4Wehave confidence thorow the lorde to you warde that ye both do and will do that which we comaude you.
3:5And ye lorde gyde youre hertes vnto ye love of God and paciece of Christ.
3:6We requyre you brethren in the name of oure lorde Iesu Christ yt ye with drawe youre selves from every brother that walketh inordinatly and not after the institucio which ye receaved of vs.
3:7Ye youre selves knowe how ye ought to folowe vs. For we behaved not oure selves inordinatly amonge you.
3:8Nether toke we breed of eny ma for nought: but wrought with laboure and travayle nyght and daye because we wolde not be grevous to eny of you:
3:9not but that we had auctoritie: but to make oure selves an insample vnto you to folowe vs.
3:10For when we were with you this we warned you of yt yf ther were eny which wolde not worke that ye same shuld not eate.
3:11We have hearde saye no doute that ther are some which walke amonge you inordinatly and worke not at all but are besy bodies.
3:12Them that are soche we commaunde and exhorte by oure lorde Iesu Christ that they worke with quyetnes and eate their awne breed.
3:13Brethren be not wery in well doynge.
3:14Yf eny man obey not oure sayinges sende vs worde of him by a letter: and have no copanie with him that he maye be ashamed.
3:15And count him not as an enemy: but warne him as a brother.
3:16The very lorde of peace geve you peace all wayes by all meanes. The lorde be with you all.
3:17The salutacion of me Paul with myne awne honde. This is the token in all pistles. So I write.
3:18The grace of oure lorde Iesus Christ be with you all Amen.
