| 3:1 | Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: |
| 3:2 | And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. |
| 3:3 | But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. |
| 3:4 | And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. |
| 3:5 | And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |
| 3:6 | Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. |
| 3:7 | For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; |
| 3:8 | Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: |
| 3:9 | Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. |
| 3:10 | For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. |
| 3:11 | For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. |
| 3:12 | Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. |
| 3:13 | But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. |
| 3:14 | And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. |
| 3:15 | Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. |
| 3:16 | Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. |
| 3:17 | The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write. |
| 3:18 | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |

| 3:2 | και ινα ρυσθωμεν απο των ατοπων και πονηρων ανθρωπων ου γαρ παντων η πιστις |
| 3:3 | πιστος δε εστιν ο κυριος ος στηριξει υμας και φυλαξει απο του πονηρου |
| 3:4 | πεποιθαμεν δε εν κυριω εφ υμας οτι α παραγγελλομεν υμιν και ποιειτε και ποιησετε |
| 3:5 | ο δε κυριος κατευθυναι υμων τας καρδιας εις την αγαπην του θεου και εις υπομονην του χριστου |
| 3:6 | παραγγελλομεν δε υμιν αδελφοι εν ονοματι του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου στελλεσθαι υμας απο παντος αδελφου ατακτως περιπατουντος και μη κατα την παραδοσιν ην παρελαβεν παρ ημων |
| 3:7 | αυτοι γαρ οιδατε πως δει μιμεισθαι ημας οτι ουκ ητακτησαμεν εν υμιν |
| 3:8 | ουδε δωρεαν αρτον εφαγομεν παρα τινος αλλ εν κοπω και μοχθω νυκτα και ημεραν εργαζομενοι προς το μη επιβαρησαι τινα υμων |
| 3:9 | ουχ οτι ουκ εχομεν εξουσιαν αλλ ινα εαυτους τυπον δωμεν υμιν εις το μιμεισθαι ημας |
| 3:10 | και γαρ οτε ημεν προς υμας τουτο παρηγγελλομεν υμιν οτι ει τις ου θελει εργαζεσθαι μηδε εσθιετω |
| 3:11 | ακουομεν γαρ τινας περιπατουντας εν υμιν ατακτως μηδεν εργαζομενους αλλα περιεργαζομενους |
| 3:12 | τοις δε τοιουτοις παραγγελλομεν και παρακαλουμεν δια του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου ινα μετα ησυχιας εργαζομενοι τον εαυτων αρτον εσθιωσιν |
| 3:13 | υμεις δε αδελφοι μη εκκακησητε καλοποιουντες |
| 3:14 | ει δε τις ουχ υπακουει τω λογω ημων δια της επιστολης τουτον σημειουσθε και μη συναναμιγνυσθε αυτω ινα εντραπη |
| 3:15 | και μη ως εχθρον ηγεισθε αλλα νουθετειτε ως αδελφον |
| 3:16 | αυτος δε ο κυριος της ειρηνης δωη υμιν την ειρηνην δια παντος εν παντι τροπω ο κυριος μετα παντων υμων |
| 3:17 | ο ασπασμος τη εμη χειρι παυλου ο εστιν σημειον εν παση επιστολη ουτως γραφω |
| 3:18 | η χαρις του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου μετα παντων υμων αμην [προς θεσσαλονικεις δευτερα εγραφη απο αθηνων] |

| 3:3 | but the lorde is faythfull which shall stablysshe you and kepe you from evyll. |
| 3:4 | Wehave confidence thorow the lorde to you warde that ye both do and will do that which we comaude you. |
| 3:5 | And ye lorde gyde youre hertes vnto ye love of God and paciece of Christ. |
| 3:6 | We requyre you brethren in the name of oure lorde Iesu Christ yt ye with drawe youre selves from every brother that walketh inordinatly and not after the institucio which ye receaved of vs. |
| 3:7 | Ye youre selves knowe how ye ought to folowe vs. For we behaved not oure selves inordinatly amonge you. |
| 3:8 | Nether toke we breed of eny ma for nought: but wrought with laboure and travayle nyght and daye because we wolde not be grevous to eny of you: |
| 3:9 | not but that we had auctoritie: but to make oure selves an insample vnto you to folowe vs. |
| 3:10 | For when we were with you this we warned you of yt yf ther were eny which wolde not worke that ye same shuld not eate. |
| 3:11 | We have hearde saye no doute that ther are some which walke amonge you inordinatly and worke not at all but are besy bodies. |
| 3:12 | Them that are soche we commaunde and exhorte by oure lorde Iesu Christ that they worke with quyetnes and eate their awne breed. |
| 3:13 | Brethren be not wery in well doynge. |
| 3:14 | Yf eny man obey not oure sayinges sende vs worde of him by a letter: and have no copanie with him that he maye be ashamed. |
| 3:15 | And count him not as an enemy: but warne him as a brother. |
| 3:16 | The very lorde of peace geve you peace all wayes by all meanes. The lorde be with you all. |
| 3:17 | The salutacion of me Paul with myne awne honde. This is the token in all pistles. So I write. |
| 3:18 | The grace of oure lorde Iesus Christ be with you all Amen. |
