Titus - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey magistrates, to be ready for every good work,
3:2to speak evil of no one, not quarrelsome but gentle, showing all meekness to all men.
3:3Because, we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
3:4But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
3:5not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
3:6whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
3:7that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
3:8This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
3:9But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; because they are unprofitable and vain.
3:10A person who is a heretic reject after the first and second admonition,
3:11knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self condemned.
3:12When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.
3:13Send Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey with care, that they may lack nothing.
3:14And let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.
3:15All who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.

3:1Pvt them in remembrance that they bee subiect to the Principalities and powers, and that they bee obedient, and ready to euery good woorke,
3:2That they speake euill of no man, that they be no fighters, but soft, shewing all meekenesse vnto all men.
3:3For wee our selues also were in times past vnwise, disobedient, deceiued, seruing the lustes and diuers pleasures, liuing in maliciousnes and enuie, hatefull, and hating one another:
3:4But when that bountifulnesse and that loue of God our Sauiour toward man appeared,
3:5Not by the woorkes of righteousnesse, which we had done, but according to his mercie he saued vs, by the washing of the newe birth, and the renewing of the holy Ghost,
3:6Which he shed on vs aboundantly, through Iesus Christ our Sauiour,
3:7That we, being iustified by his grace, should be made heires according to the hope of eternall life.
3:8This is a true saying, and these thinges I will thou shouldest affirme, that they which haue beleeued God, might be carefull to shewe foorth good woorkes. These things are good and profitable vnto men.
3:9But stay foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and brawlings about the Lawe: for they are vnprofitable and vaine.
3:10Reiect him that is an heretike, after once or twise admonition,
3:11Knowing that hee that is such, is peruerted, and sinneth, being damned of his owne selfe.
3:12When I shall send Artemas vnto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to mee vnto Nicopolis: for I haue determined there to winter.
3:13Bring Zenas the expounder of the Lawe, and Apollos on their iourney diligently, that they lacke nothing.
3:14And let ours also learne to shewe foorth good woorkes for necessary vses, that they be not vnfruitfull.
3:15All that are with mee, salute thee. Greete them that loue vs in the faith. Grace bee with you all, Amen.

3:1Warne the that they submitte them selves to rule and power to obey the officers that they be readie vnto all good workes
3:2that they speake evyll of no ma that they be no fyghters but softe shewynge all meknes vnto all men.
3:3For we oure selves also were in tymes past vnwyse disobedient deceaved in daunger to lustes and to diuers maners of volupteousnes livynge in maliciousnes and envie full of hate hatinge one another.
3:4But after that the kyndnes and love of oure saveoure God to mawarde appered
3:5not of ye dedes of rightewesnes which we wrought but of his mercie he saved vs by ye foutayne of the newe birth and with the renuynge of the holy goost
3:6which he shed on vs aboundantly thorow Iesus Christ oure saveoure
3:7that we once iustified by his grace shuld be heyres of eternall lyfe thorowe hope
3:8This is a true sayinge. Of these thinges I wolde thou shuldest certifie that they which beleve God myght be diligent to go forwarde in good workes. These thinges are good and proffitable vnto me.
3:9Folisshe questions and genealogies and braulinges and stryfe aboute the lawe avoyde for they are vnproffitable and superfluous.
3:10A ma that is geue to heresie after the fyrst and the seconde admonicion avoyde
3:11remembrynge that he that is soche is perverted and synneth even damned by his awne iudgement.
3:12When I shall sende Artemas vnto the or Tichicus be diliget to come to me vnto Nichopolis. For I have determined ther to wynter.
3:13Brynge zenas ye lawear and Apollos on their iorney diligently that nothynge be lackynge vnto them.
3:14And let oures olso learne to excell in good workes as farforth as nede requyreth that they be not vnfrutefull.
3:15All that are with me salute the. Grete them that love vs in the fayth. Grace be with you all Amen.
