Hebrews - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Therfore holye brethren, partakers of the celestiall callinges, consider the ambassatoure and hye prieste of oure professyon, Christe Iesus
3:2which was faithfull to him that made him euen as was Moises in al his house.
3:3And yet was this man counted worthy of more glorye then Moyses: In as muche as he which hath prepared the house hath most honoure in the house.
3:4Euery house is prepared of some man. But he that ordeyned al thinges is God.
3:5And Moyses verelye was faythfull in al hys house as a minyster, to beare wytnes of those thynges, whyche shoulde be spoken afterwarde.
3:6But Chryste as a sonne hath rule ouer the house, whose house are we, so that we holde faste the confidence and the reioysynge of that hope, vnto the ende.
3:7Wherfore as the holy ghoste sayeth, to daye yf ye shal heare his voice,
3:8harden not youre hertes, after the rebellion in the day of temptacion in the wyldernes,
3:9where youre fathers tempted me, proued me, and sawe my workes .xl. yeares longe.
3:10Wherfore I was greued wyth that generacion and sayde. They erre euer in their hertes, they verely haue not knowen my wayes,
3:11so that I sware in my wrath, that they should not enter into my reste.
3:12Take hede brethren, that there be in none of you an euyll herte in vnbeleue, that he shoulde departe from the lyuinge God:
3:13but exhorte one another dayly, whyle it is called to daye, leste anye of you wexe harde herted thorowe the deceythfulnesse of synne.
3:14We are partakers of Christe, yf we kepe sure vnto the ende the fyrste substaunce,
3:15so longe as it is sayde, to daye yf ye heare hys voyce, harden not youre hartes, as when ye rebelled.
3:16For some, when they hearde, rebelled, how be it not al that came out of Egypte vnder Moyses.
3:17But wyth whome was he depleased .xl. yeares? Was he not displeased wyth them that synned, whose carkases were ouerthrowen in the deserte?
3:18To whom sware he, that they should not enter into hys reste, but vnto them that beleued not?
3:19And we se that they could not enter in because of vnbeleue.

3:1Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heauenly vocation, consider the Apostle and high Priest of our profession Christ Iesus:
3:2Who was faithfull to him that hath appointed him, euen as Moses was in al his house.
3:3For this man is counted worthy of more glory then Moses, inasmuch as he which hath builded the house, hath more honour then the house.
3:4For euery house is builded of some man, and he that hath built all things, is God.
3:5Now Moses verely was faithfull in all his house, as a seruant, for a witnesse of the thinges which should be spoken after.
3:6But Christ is as the Sonne, ouer his owne house, whose house we are, if we holde fast that confidence and that reioycing of that hope vnto the ende.
3:7Wherefore, as the holy Ghost sayth, To day if ye shall heare his voyce,
3:8Harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation, according to the day of the tentation in the wildernes,
3:9Where your fathers tempted me, prooued me, and sawe my workes fourtie yeeres long.
3:10Wherefore I was grieued with that generation, and sayde, They erre euer in their heart, neither haue they knowen my wayes.
3:11Therefore I sware in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest.
3:12Take heede, brethren, least at any time there be in any of you an euill heart, and vnfaithfull, to depart away from the liuing God.
3:13But exhort one another dayly, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulnes of sinne.
3:14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we keepe sure vnto the ende that beginning, wherewith we are vpholden,
3:15So long as it is sayd, To day if ye heare his voyce, harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation.
3:16For some when they heard, prouoked him to anger: howbeit, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
3:17But with whome was he displeased fourtie yeeres? Was hee not displeased with them that sinned, whose carkeises fell in the wildernes?
3:18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but vnto them that obeyed not?
3:19So we see that they could not enter in, because of vnbeliefe.

3:1Wherfore holy brethre, partakers of the heauenly calling, consider the Apostle and high Priest of our profession Christ Iesus,
3:2Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithfull in all his house.
3:3For this man was counted worthy of more glory then Moses, in as much as he who hath builded the house, hath more honour then the house.
3:4For euery house is builded by some man, but hee that built all things is God.
3:5And Moses verely was faithfull in all his house as a seruant, for a testimonie of those things which were to be spoken after.
3:6But Christ as a Sonne ouer his owne house, whose house are wee, if we hold fast the confidence, and the reioycing of the hope firme vnto the end.
3:7Wherfore as the holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will heare his voyce,
3:8Harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation, in the day of temptation in the wildernesse:
3:9When your fathers tempted me, prooued me, and saw my works fourty yeeres.
3:10Wherefore I was grieued with that generation, and sayd, They doe alway erre in their hearts, and they haue not knowen my wayes.
3:11So I sware in my wrath: they shall not enter into my rest.
3:12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an euill heart of vnbeleefe, in departing from the liuing God.
3:13But exhort one another dayly, while it is called To day, least any of you be hardned through the deceitfulnesse of sinne.
3:14For wee are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast vnto the end.
3:15Whilest it is sayd, To day if yee will heare his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation.
3:16For some when they had heard, did prouoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
3:17But with whom was he grieued fourty yeeres? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wildernesse?
3:18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that beleeued not?
3:19So we see that they could not enter in, because of vnbeleefe.
