2 John - Chapter: 1

>
1:1The Elder vnto the elect Lady, and her children, whome I loue in the trueth: and not I onely, but also all they that haue knowen ye trueth:
1:2For the trueths sake which dwelleth in vs, and shalbe with vs for euer:
1:3Grace bee with you, mercie, and peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ, the Sonne of the Father in trueth and loue.
1:4I reioyced greatly, that I found of thy children walking in trueth, as wee haue receiued a commaundement from the Father.
1:5And now, I beseech thee Lady, not as though I wrote a new commandement vnto thee: but that which wee had from the beginning, that wee loue one another.
1:6And this is loue, that wee walke after his Commandements. This is the Commandement, that as yee haue heard from the beginning, yee should walke in it.
1:7For many deceiuers are entred into the world, who confesse not that Iesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiuer, and an Antichrist.
1:8Looke to your selues, that wee lose not those things which wee haue wrought, but that we receiue a full reward.
1:9Whosoeuer transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God: hee that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Sonne.
1:10If there come any vnto you, and bring not this doctrine, receiue him not into your house, neither bid him, God speed.
1:11For hee that biddeth him God speed, is partaker of his euill deeds.
1:12Hauing many things to write vnto you, I would not write with paper and inke, but I trust to come vnto you, and speake face to face, that our ioy may be full.
1:13The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

1:1The Elder. To ye electe lady and hir childre whom I loue in the trueth: & not I onely, but all they also that haue knowne the trueth,

1:3Grace, mercy, and peace be with you fro the LORDE Iesus Christ ye sonne of the father in the trueth and in loue.
1:4I am greatly reioysed, that I haue founde amonge thy children, them that walke in ye trueth, as we haue receaued a commaundement of the father.
1:5And now lady I beseke the (not as though I wrote a new commaundement vnto the, but the same which we haue had from the begynnynge) that we loue one another.
1:6And this is the loue, that we walke after his commaundementes. This is the commaundement (as ye haue herde fro the begynnynge) that we shulde walke therin.
1:7For many disceauers are come in to the worlde, which confesse not yt Iesus Christ is come in the flesh: this is a disceauer and an Antechrist.
1:8Take hede to youre selues, that we lose not that which we haue wrought, but that we maye receaue a full rewarde.
1:9Whoso euer transgresseth, and abydeth not in the doctryne of Christ, hath not God: he that abydeth in ye doctryne of Christ, hath both the father and the sonne.
1:10Yf eny man come vnto you, and brynge not this doctryne, receaue him not in to the house, nether salute him:
1:11for he that saluteth him, is partaker of his euell dedes.
1:12I had many thinges to wryte vnto you: neuertheles I wolde not wryte wt papyre and ynke, but I trust to come vnto you, and to speake with you mouth mouth, that oure ioye maye be full.
1:13The children of thy electe sister salute the. Amen.

1:5And now Y preye thee, ladi, not as writinge a newe maundement to thee, but that that we hadden fro the bigynnyng, that we loue ech other.
1:6And this is charite, that we walke after his maundementis. For this is the comaundement, that as ye herden at the bigynnyng, walke ye in hym.

1:9witynge that ech man that goith bifore, and dwellith not in the teching of Crist, hath not God. He that dwellith in the teching, hath bothe the sone and the fadir.
1:10If ony man cometh to you, and bryngith not this teching, nyle ye resseyue hym in to hous, nether seie ye to hym, Heil.
