Jude - Chapter: 1

>
1:1Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
1:2Mercy to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
1:3Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you about the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you, and urge you that you should contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
1:4Because, there are certain men who crept in unnoticed, who long ago were ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lustfulness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:5Therefore I want to remind you, although you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
1:6And the angels who did not keep their first domain, but left their own habitat, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.
1:7Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in the same manner, giving themselves over to sexual immorality and going after other flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
1:8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise authority, and speak evil of those highly esteemed.
1:9Yet Michael the archangel, while contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
1:10But these speak evil of those things they know nothing of; but what they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.
1:11Woe to them! Because, they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
1:12These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you, feeding themselves without reverence. They are clouds without water, carried about by winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;
1:13raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
1:14Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied about these men, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
1:15to execute judgment upon all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly manner, and of all their harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."
1:16These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.
1:17But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1:18how that they told you there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
1:19These are those who separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit.
1:20But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
1:21keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
1:22And on some have compassion, making a distinction;
1:23but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the clothing defiled by the flesh.
1:24Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
1:25To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.

1:1IVde a seruaunt of Iesus Christ, and brother of Iames, to them which are called and sanctified of God the Father, and returned to Iesus Christ:
1:2Mercie vnto you, and peace and loue be multiplied.
1:3Beloued, when I gaue al diligece to write vnto you of the common saluation, it was needful for me to write vnto you to exhort you, that yee should earnestly contend for the maintenace of ye faith, which was once giuen vnto the Saintes.
1:4For there are certaine men crept in, which were before of olde ordeined to this condemnation: vngodly men they are which turne the grace of our God into wantonnesse, and denie God the onely Lord, and our Lord Iesus Christ.
1:5I wil therfore put you in remebrance, forasmuch as ye once knew this, how that the Lord, after that he had deliuered the people out of Egypt, destroied them afterward which beleeued not.
1:6The Angels also which kept not their first estate, but left their owne habitation, hee hath reserued in euerlasting chaines vnder darkenesse vnto the iudgement of the great day.
1:7As Sodom and Gomorrhe, and the cities about them, which in like maner as they did, committed fornication, and followed strange flesh, are set foorth for an ensample, and suffer the vengeance of eternall fire.
1:8Likewise notwithstanding these sleepers also defile the flesh, and despise gouernment, and speake euill of them that are in authoritie.
1:9Yet Michael the Archangell, when hee stroue against the deuill, and disputed about the body of Moses, durst not blame him with cursed speaking, but sayd, The Lord rebuke thee.
1:10But these speake euill of those thinges, which they know not: and whatsoeuer things they know naturally, as beasts, which are without reason, in those things they corrupt them selues.
1:11Wo be vnto them: for they haue followed the way of Cain, and are cast away by the deceit of Balaams wages, and perish in the gainsaying of Core.
1:12These are rockes in your feasts of charitie when they feast with you, without al feare, feeding themselues: cloudes they are without water, caried about of windes, corrupt trees and without fruit, twise dead, and plucked vp by ye rootes.
1:13They are the raging waues of the sea, foming out their owne shame: they are wandring starres, to whome is reserued the blackenesse of darkenesse for euer.
1:14And Enoch also the seuenth from Adam, prophecied of such, saying, Beholde, the Lord commeth with thousands of his Saints,
1:15To giue iudgement against al men, and to rebuke all the vngodly among them of all their wicked deeds, which they haue vngodly committed, and of all their cruel speakings, which wicked sinners haue spoken against him.
1:16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their owne lustes: Whose mouthes speake proud things, hauing mens persons in admiration, because of aduantage.
1:17But, yee beloued, remember the wordes which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Lord Iesus Christ,
1:18How that they told you that there should be mockers in ye last time, which should walke after their owne vngodly lustes.
1:19These are they that separate them selues from other, naturall, hauing not the Spirit.
1:20But, yee beloued, edifie your selues in your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost,
1:21And keepe your selues in the loue of God, looking for the mercie of our Lord Iesus Christ, vnto eternall life.
1:22And haue compassion of some, in putting difference:
1:23And other saue with feare, pulling them out of the fire, and hate euen that garment which is spotted by the flesh.
1:24Nowe vnto him that is able to keepe you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glorie with ioy,
1:25That is, to God only wise, our Sauiour, be glorie, and maiestie, and dominion, and power, both nowe and for euer, Amen.

1:4For ther are certayne craftely crept in of which it was write afore tyme vnto soche iudgemet. They are vngodly and turne the grace of oure God vnto wantannes and denye God the only Lorde and oure Lorde Iesus Christ.
1:5My mynde is therfore to put you in remebraunce for as moche as ye once knowe this how that the Lorde (after that he had delivered the people out of Egypt) destroyed them which afterwarde beleved not.
1:6The angels also which kept not their fyrst estate: but lefte their awne habitacion he hath reserved in everlastinge chaynes vnder darcknes vnto ye iudgemet of the greate daye:
1:7eve as Sodom and Gomor and the cities aboute them (which in lyke maner defiled them selves with fornicacio and folowed straunge flesshe) are set forth for an ensample and suffre the vengeaunce of eternall fyre.
1:8Lykwyse these dremers defyle the flesshe despyse rulars and speake evyll of them that are in auctoritie.
1:9Yet Michael the archangell when he strove agaynst the devyll and disputed about the body of Moses durst not geve raylinge sentece but sayde: the Lorde rebuke ye.
1:10But these speake evyll of those thinges which they knowe not: and what thinges they knowe naturally as beastes which are without reason in tho thinges they corrupte them selves.
1:11Wo be vnto them for they have folowed ye waye of Cayn and are vtterly geven to the erroure of Balam for lukers sake and perysshe in the treason of Core.
1:12These are spottes which of youre kindnes feast to gedder with out feare fedynge them selves. Cloudes they are with outen water caried about of wyndes and trees with out frute at gadringe tyme twyse deed and plucked vp by the rotes.
1:13They are the ragynge waves of ye see fominge out their awne shame. They are wandrynge starres to whom is reserved the myst of darcknes for ever.
1:14Enoch the seventh from Adam prophesied before of suche saying: Beholde ye lorde shall come with thousandes of sayntes
1:15to geve iudgement agaynst all men and to rebuke all that are vngodly amonge them of all their vngodly dedes which they have vngodly comitted and of all their cruell speakynges which vngodly sinners have spoken agaynst him.
1:16These are murmurers complayners walkynge after their awne lustes whose mouthes speake proude thynges. They have men in greate reverence be cause of a vauntage.
1:17But ye beloved remember the wordes which were spoken before of the Apostles of oure lorde Iesus Christ
1:18how that they tolde you that ther shulde be begylers in the last tyme which shuld walke after ther awne vngodly lustes.
