| 5:1 | And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. |
| 5:2 | And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? |
| 5:3 | And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. |
| 5:4 | And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. |
| 5:5 | And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. |
| 5:6 | And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. |
| 5:7 | And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. |
| 5:8 | And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. |
| 5:9 | And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; |
| 5:10 | And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. |
| 5:11 | And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; |
| 5:12 | Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. |
| 5:13 | And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. |
| 5:14 | And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. |

| 5:2 | και ειδον αγγελον ισχυρον κηρυσσοντα φωνη μεγαλη τις εστιν αξιος ανοιξαι το βιβλιον και λυσαι τας σφραγιδας αυτου |
| 5:3 | και ουδεις ηδυνατο εν τω ουρανω ουδε επι της γης ουδε υποκατω της γης ανοιξαι το βιβλιον ουδε βλεπειν αυτο |
| 5:4 | και εγω εκλαιον πολλα οτι ουδεις αξιος ευρεθη ανοιξαι και αναγνωναι το βιβλιον ουτε βλεπειν αυτο |
| 5:5 | και εις εκ των πρεσβυτερων λεγει μοι μη κλαιε ιδου ενικησεν ο λεων ο ων εκ της φυλης ιουδα η ριζα δαβιδ ανοιξαι το βιβλιον και λυσαι τας επτα σφραγιδας αυτου |
| 5:6 | και ειδον και ιδου εν μεσω του θρονου και των τεσσαρων ζωων και εν μεσω των πρεσβυτερων αρνιον εστηκος ως εσφαγμενον εχον κερατα επτα και οφθαλμους επτα οι εισιν τα επτα του θεου πνευματα τα απεσταλμενα εις πασαν την γην |
| 5:7 | και ηλθεν και ειληφεν το βιβλιον εκ της δεξιας του καθημενου επι του θρονου |
| 5:8 | και οτε ελαβεν το βιβλιον τα τεσσαρα ζωα και οι εικοσιτεσσαρες πρεσβυτεροι επεσον ενωπιον του αρνιου εχοντες εκαστος κιθαρας και φιαλας χρυσας γεμουσας θυμιαματων αι εισιν αι προσευχαι των αγιων |
| 5:9 | και αδουσιν ωδην καινην λεγοντες αξιος ει λαβειν το βιβλιον και ανοιξαι τας σφραγιδας αυτου οτι εσφαγης και ηγορασας τω θεω ημας εν τω αιματι σου εκ πασης φυλης και γλωσσης και λαου και εθνους |
| 5:10 | και εποιησας ημας τω θεω ημων βασιλεις και ιερεις και βασιλευσομεν επι της γης |
| 5:11 | και ειδον και ηκουσα φωνην αγγελων πολλων κυκλοθεν του θρονου και των ζωων και των πρεσβυτερων και χιλιαδες χιλιαδων |
| 5:12 | λεγοντες φωνη μεγαλη αξιον εστιν το αρνιον το εσφαγμενον λαβειν την δυναμιν και πλουτον και σοφιαν και ισχυν και τιμην και δοξαν και ευλογιαν |
| 5:13 | και παν κτισμα ο εστιν εν τω ουρανω και εν τη γη και υποκατω της γης και επι της θαλασσης α εστιν και τα εν αυτοις παντα ηκουσα λεγοντας τω καθημενω επι του θρονου και τω αρνιω η ευλογια και η τιμη και η δοξα και το κρατος εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων |
| 5:14 | και τα τεσσαρα ζωα ελεγον αμην και οι εικοσιτεσσαρες πρεσβυτεροι επεσαν και προσεκυνησαν ζωντι εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων |
| 5:1 | And I sawe in the right honde of him that sat in ye trone a boke written with in and on the backside sealyd with vii. seales. |
| 5:2 | And I sawe a stronge angell which cryed with a loude voyce: Who is worthy to open the boke and to loose the seales therof. |
| 5:3 | And no man in heven ner in erth nether vnder the erth was able to open the boke nether to loke thereon. |
| 5:4 | And I wepte moche because no man was founde worthy to open and to rede the boke nether to loke thereon. |
| 5:5 | And one of the elders sayde unto me: wepe not: Beholde a lion beinge of the tribe of Iuda the rote of Dauid hath obtayned to open the boke and to lose the vii. seales therof. |
| 5:6 | And I behelde and loo in the myddes of the seate and of the .iiii. bestes and in the myddes of the elders stode a lambe as though he had bene kylled which had vii. hornes and vii. eyes which are the spretes of God sent into all the worlde. |
| 5:7 | And he cam and toke the boke oute of the right honde of him that sate apon the seate. |
| 5:8 | And when he had take the boke the .iiii. bestes and xxiiii. elders fell doune before the labe havynge harpes and golden vialles full of odoures which are the prayers of saynctes |
| 5:9 | and they songe a newe songe saynge: thou art worthy to take ye boke and to ope ye seales therof: for thou waste kylled and haste redemed vs by thy bloud out of all kynreddes and tonges and people and nacions |
| 5:10 | and haste made vs vnto oure god kynges and prestes and we shall raygne on the erth. |
| 5:11 | And I behelde and I herd the voyce of many angylles aboute the trone and about the bestes and the elders and I herde thousand thousandes |
| 5:12 | saynge wt a lowde voyce: Worthy is the lambe that was killed to receave power and riches and wisdom and strenghte and honoure and glory and blyssynge. |
| 5:13 | And all creatures which are in heven and on the erth and vnder the erth and in the see and all that are in them herd I sayinge: blyssinge honour glory and power be vnto hym that sytteth apon the seate and vnto the lambe for ever more. |
| 5:14 | And the .iiii. bestes sayd: Ame. And the .xxiiii. elders fell apon their faces and worshypped him that lyveth for ever more. |
