| 8:1 | And when he had opened the seuenth seale, ther was sylence in heauen aboute the space of halfe an houre. |
| 8:2 | And I sawe .vii. angelles standyng before God, & to them were geuen seuen trompettes. |
| 8:3 | And another angell came & stode before the aultre, hauynge a golden senser, & moch of odoures was geuen vnto him, that he shulde offre of the prayers of all saynctes vpon the golden aulter, whych was before the seate. |
| 8:4 | And the smoke of the odoures whych cam of the prayers of all saynctes, ascended vp before God out of the Angelles hande. |
| 8:5 | And the Angell toke the senser, and fylled it wyth fyre of the aulter, and caste it into the erth, and voyces were made, & thondrynges & lyghtnynges, and erthquake. |
| 8:6 | And the seuen Angels whych had the seuen trompettes, prepared them selues to blowe. |
| 8:7 | The fyrst Angell blewe, & there was made hayle & fyre, which were myngled wt bloud, & they were cast into the erth: & the thirde parte of trees was burnt, and all grene grasse was brent. |
| 8:8 | And the seconde angell blewe: & as it were a gret mountayne burnyng wt fyre was caste into the see, and the thyrde parte of the see tourned to bloude, |
| 8:9 | and the thyrde parte of the creatures which had lyfe, dyed, & the thyrde part of shyppes were destroyed. |
| 8:10 | And the thyrde Angell blew, & ther fell a gret starre from heauen, burnyng as it were a lampe, & it fell into the thyrde parte of the ryuers, & into fountaynes of waters, |
| 8:11 | & the name of the starre is called wormwod. And the thyrde parte was turned to wormwod. And many men dyed of the waters, because they were made bytter. |
| 8:12 | And the fourth Angell blew, and the thyrde parte of the sunne was smytten, and the thirde parte of the mone, and the thyrde parte of starres: so that the thyrd part of them was darckned. And the daye was smytten, that the thyrde part of it shulde not shyne, & lykewyse the nyght. |
| 8:13 | And I behelde and herde an Angell flyinge thorow the myddes of heauen, sayinge with a lowde voyce: Woo, woo, to the inhabiters of the erth, because of the voyces to come of the trompe of the thre Angels, whych were yet to blowe. |

| 8:4 | And the smoke of encencis of the preiers of the hooli men stiede vp fro the aungels hoond bifor God. |
| 8:5 | And the aungel took the censere, and fillide it of the fier of the auter, and castide in to the erthe. And thundris, and voices, and leityngis weren maad, and a greet erthe mouyng. |
| 8:6 | And the seuene aungels, that hadden seuene trumpis, maden hem redi, that thei schulden trumpe. |
| 8:7 | And the firste aungel trumpide; and hail was maad, and fier meynd togidere in blood; and it was sent in to the erthe. And the thridde part of the erthe was brent, and the thridde part of trees was brent, and al the green gras was brent. |
| 8:8 | And the secunde aungel trumpide; and as a greet hil brennynge with fier was cast in to the see; |
| 8:9 | and the thridde part of the see was maad blood, and the thridde part of creature was deed, that hadde lyues in the see, and the thridde part of schippis perischide. |
| 8:10 | And the thridde aungel trumpide; and a greet sterre brennynge as a litil brond, felle fro heuene; and it felle in to the thridde part of floodis, and in to the wellis of watris. |
| 8:11 | And the name of the sterre is seid Wormod. And the thridde part of watris was maad in to wormod; and many men weren deed of the watris, for tho weren maad bittere. |
| 8:12 | And the fourthe aungel trumpide; and the thridde part of the sunne was smytun, and the thridde part of the moone, and the thridde part of sterris, so that the thridde part of hem was derkid, and the thridde part of the dai schynede not, and also of the nyyt. |
| 8:13 | And Y say, and herde the vois of an egle fleynge bi the myddil of heuene, and seiynge with a greet vois, Wo! wo! wo! to men that dwellen in erthe, of the othir voices of thre aungels, that schulen trumpe aftir. |
