15:1	In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
15:2	Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
15:3	And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
15:4	Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.
15:5	And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
15:6	And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
15:7	So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
15:8	In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
15:9	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
15:10	And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15:11	And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:12	This was the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
15:13	Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
15:14	For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15:15	And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:16	Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
15:17	In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
15:18	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
15:19	And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
15:20	And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.
15:21	And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
15:22	And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.
15:23	In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
15:24	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
15:25	But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.
15:26	And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:27	In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
15:28	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
15:29	In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abelbethmaachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
15:30	And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
15:31	And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:32	In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
15:33	Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
15:34	And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
15:35	Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.
15:36	Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
15:37	In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
15:38	And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.


15:1	בשׁנת עשׂרים ושׁבע שׁנה לירבעם מלך ישׂראל מלך עזריה בן אמציה מלך יהודה׃
15:2	בן שׁשׁ עשׂרה שׁנה היה במלכו וחמשׁים ושׁתים שׁנה מלך בירושׁלם ושׁם אמו יכליהו מירושׁלם׃
15:3	ויעשׂ הישׁר בעיני יהוה ככל אשׁר עשׂה אמציהו אביו׃
15:4	רק הבמות לא סרו עוד העם מזבחים ומקטרים בבמות׃
15:5	וינגע יהוה את המלך ויהי מצרע עד יום מתו וישׁב בבית החפשׁית ויותם בן המלך על הבית שׁפט את עם הארץ׃
15:6	ויתר דברי עזריהו וכל אשׁר עשׂה הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה׃
15:7	וישׁכב עזריה עם אבתיו ויקברו אתו עם אבתיו בעיר דוד וימלך יותם בנו תחתיו׃
15:8	בשׁנת שׁלשׁים ושׁמנה שׁנה לעזריהו מלך יהודה מלך זכריהו בן ירבעם על ישׂראל בשׁמרון שׁשׁה חדשׁים׃
15:9	ויעשׂ הרע בעיני יהוה כאשׁר עשׂו אבתיו לא סר מחטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשׁר החטיא את ישׂראל׃
15:10	ויקשׁר עליו שׁלם בן יבשׁ ויכהו קבל עם וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו׃
15:11	ויתר דברי זכריה הנם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישׂראל׃
15:12	הוא דבר יהוה אשׁר דבר אל יהוא לאמר בני רביעים ישׁבו לך על כסא ישׂראל ויהי כן׃
15:13	שׁלום בן יבישׁ מלך בשׁנת שׁלשׁים ותשׁע שׁנה לעזיה מלך יהודה וימלך ירח ימים בשׁמרון׃
15:14	ויעל מנחם בן גדי מתרצה ויבא שׁמרון ויך את שׁלום בן יבישׁ בשׁמרון וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו׃
15:15	ויתר דברי שׁלום וקשׁרו אשׁר קשׁר הנם כתבים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישׂראל׃
15:16	אז יכה מנחם את תפסח ואת כל אשׁר בה ואת גבוליה מתרצה כי לא פתח ויך את כל ההרותיה בקע׃
15:17	בשׁנת שׁלשׁים ותשׁע שׁנה לעזריה מלך יהודה מלך מנחם בן גדי על ישׂראל עשׂר שׁנים בשׁמרון׃
15:18	ויעשׂ הרע בעיני יהוה לא סר מעל חטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשׁר החטיא את ישׂראל כל ימיו׃
15:19	בא פול מלך אשׁור על הארץ ויתן מנחם לפול אלף ככר כסף להיות ידיו אתו להחזיק הממלכה בידו׃
15:20	ויצא מנחם את הכסף על ישׂראל על כל גבורי החיל לתת למלך אשׁור חמשׁים שׁקלים כסף לאישׁ אחד וישׁב מלך אשׁור ולא עמד שׁם בארץ׃
15:21	ויתר דברי מנחם וכל אשׁר עשׂה הלוא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישׂראל׃
15:22	וישׁכב מנחם עם אבתיו וימלך פקחיה בנו תחתיו׃
15:23	בשׁנת חמשׁים שׁנה לעזריה מלך יהודה מלך פקחיה בן מנחם על ישׂראל בשׁמרון שׁנתים׃
15:24	ויעשׂ הרע בעיני יהוה לא סר מחטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשׁר החטיא את ישׂראל׃
15:25	ויקשׁר עליו פקח בן רמליהו שׁלישׁו ויכהו בשׁמרון בארמון בית מלך את ארגב ואת האריה ועמו חמשׁים אישׁ מבני גלעדים וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו׃
15:26	ויתר דברי פקחיה וכל אשׁר עשׂה הנם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישׂראל׃
15:27	בשׁנת חמשׁים ושׁתים שׁנה לעזריה מלך יהודה מלך פקח בן רמליהו על ישׂראל בשׁמרון עשׂרים שׁנה׃
15:28	ויעשׂ הרע בעיני יהוה לא סר מן חטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשׁר החטיא את ישׂראל׃
15:29	בימי פקח מלך ישׂראל בא תגלת פלאסר מלך אשׁור ויקח את עיון ואת אבל בית מעכה ואת ינוח ואת קדשׁ ואת חצור ואת הגלעד ואת הגלילה כל ארץ נפתלי ויגלם אשׁורה׃
15:30	ויקשׁר קשׁר הושׁע בן אלה על פקח בן רמליהו ויכהו וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו בשׁנת עשׂרים ליותם בן עזיה׃
15:31	ויתר דברי פקח וכל אשׁר עשׂה הנם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישׂראל׃
15:32	בשׁנת שׁתים לפקח בן רמליהו מלך ישׂראל מלך יותם בן עזיהו מלך יהודה׃
15:33	בן עשׂרים וחמשׁ שׁנה היה במלכו ושׁשׁ עשׂרה שׁנה מלך בירושׁלם ושׁם אמו ירושׁא בת צדוק׃
15:34	ויעשׂ הישׁר בעיני יהוה ככל אשׁר עשׂה עזיהו אביו עשׂה׃
15:35	רק הבמות לא סרו עוד העם מזבחים ומקטרים בבמות הוא בנה את שׁער בית יהוה העליון׃
15:36	ויתר דברי יותם אשׁר עשׂה הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה׃
15:37	בימים ההם החל יהוה להשׁליח ביהודה רצין מלך ארם ואת פקח בן רמליהו׃
15:38	וישׁכב יותם עם אבתיו ויקבר עם אבתיו בעיר דוד אביו וימלך אחז בנו תחתיו׃

15:4	only, the high places have not turned aside -- yet are the people sacrificing and making perfume in high places.
15:5	And Jehovah smiteth the king, and he is a leper unto the day of his death, and he dwelleth in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king `is' over the house, judging the people of the land.
15:6	And the rest of the matters of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?
15:7	And Azariah lieth with his fathers, and they bury him with his fathers, in the city of David, and reign doth Jotham his son in his stead.
15:8	In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah reigned hath Zechariah son of Jeroboam over Israel, in Samaria, six months,
15:9	and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, as did his fathers, he hath not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.
15:10	And Shallum son of Jabesh conspireth against him, and smiteth him before the people, and putteth him to death, and reigneth in his stead.
15:11	And the rest of the matters of Zechariah, lo, they are written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:12	It `is' the word of Jehovah that He spake unto Jehu, saying, `Sons of the fourth `generation' do sit for thee on the throne of Israel;' and it is so.
15:13	Shallum son of Jabesh hath reigned in the thirty and ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigneth a month of days in Samaria;
15:14	and go up doth Menahem son of Gadi from Tirzah and cometh in to Samaria, and smiteth Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, and putteth him to death, and reigneth in his stead.
15:15	And the rest of the matters of Shallum, and his conspiracy that he made, lo, they are written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:16	Then doth Menahem smite Tiphsah, and all who `are' in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it opened not `to him', and he smiteth `it', all its pregnant women he hath ripped up.
15:17	In the thirty and ninth year of Azariah king of Judah reigned hath Menahem son of Gadi over Israel -- ten years in Samaria.
15:18	And he doth the evil in the eyes of Jehovah, he hath turned not aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin, all his days.
15:19	Pul king of Asshur hath come against the land, and Menahem giveth to Pul a thousand talents of silver, for his hand being with him to strengthen the kingdom in his hand.
15:20	And Menahem bringeth out the silver `from' Israel, `from' all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Asshur, fifty shekels of silver for each one, and the king of Asshur turneth back and hath not stayed there in the land.
15:21	And the rest of the matters of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
15:22	And Menahem lieth with his fathers, and reign doth Pekahiah his son in his stead.
15:23	In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah hath Pekahiah son of Menahem reigned over Israel, in Samaria -- two years,
15:24	and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, he hath not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.
15:25	And Pekah son of Remaliah, his captain, doth conspire against him, and smiteth him in Samaria, in the high place of the house of the king with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites, and he putteth him to death, and reigneth in his stead.
15:26	And the rest of the matters of Pekahiah, and all that he did, lo, they are written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:27	In the fifty and second year of Azariah king of Judah, reigned hath Pekah son of Remaliah over Israel, in Samaria -- twenty years,
15:28	and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, he hath not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, that he caused Israel to sin.
15:29	In the days of Pekah king of Israel hath Tiglath-Pileser king of Asshur come, and taketh Ijon, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and removeth them to Asshur.
15:30	And make a conspiracy doth Hoshea son of Elah against Pekah son of Remaliah, and smiteth him, and putteth him to death, and reigneth in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah.
15:31	And the rest of the matters of Pekah, and all that he did, lo, they are written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:32	In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel reigned hath Jotham son of Uzziah king of Judah.
15:33	A son of twenty and five years was he in his reigning, and sixteen years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother `is' Jerusha daughter of Zadok,
15:34	and he doth that which `is' right in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that Uzziah his father did he hath done.
15:35	Only, the high places have not turned aside -- yet are the people sacrificing and making perfume in high places; he hath built the high gate of the house of Jehovah.
15:36	And the rest of the matters of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?
15:37	In those days hath Jehovah begun to send against Judah Rezin king of Amram and Pekah son of Remaliah.
15:38	And Jotham lieth with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers, in the city of David his father, and reign doth Ahaz his son in his stead.
