>
26:1Concerning the diuisions of the porters: of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the sonne of Kore, of the sonnes of Asaph.
26:2And the sonnes of Meshelemiah were Zechariah the first borne, Iediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Iathniel the fourth,
26:3Elam the fifth, Iehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seuenth.
26:4Moreouer the sonnes of Obed-Edom were Shemaiah the first borne, Iehozabad the second, Ioah the thirde, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.
26:5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seuenth, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
26:6Also vnto Shemaiah his sonne were sonnes borne, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
26:7The sonnes of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men; Elihu, and Semachiah.
26:8All these of the sonnes of Obed-Edom: they and their sonnes and their brethren, able men for strength for the seruice, were threescore and two of Obed-Edom.
26:9And Meshelemiah had sonnes and brethren, strong men, eighteene.
26:10Also Hosah of the children of Merari, had sonnes: Simri the chiefe, (for though he was not the first borne, yet his father made him the chiefe)
26:11Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the thirde, Zechariah the fourth: all the sonnes and brethren of Hosah, were thirteene.
26:12Among these were the diuisions of the porters, euen among the chiefe men, hauing wards one against another, to minister in the house of the Lord.
26:13And they cast lots as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers for euery gate.
26:14And the lot Eastward fel to Shelemiah; then for Zechariah his sonne (a wise counseller:) they cast lots, and his lot came out Northward.
26:15To Obed-Edom Southward, and to his sonnes, the house of Asuppim.
26:16To Shuppim and Hosa, the lot came foorth Westward with the gate Shallecheth, by the causey of the going vp, ward against ward.
26:17Eastward were sixe Leuites, Northward foure a day, Southward foure a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
26:18And Parbar Westward, foure at the causey, and two at Parbar.
26:19These are the diuisions of the porters among the sonnes of Kore, and among the sonnes of Merari.
26:20And of the Leuites, Ahiiah was ouer the treasures of the house of God, and ouer the treasures of the dedicate things.
26:21As concerning the sonnes of Laadan: the sonnes of the Gershonite Laadan, hiefe fathers; euen of Laadan the Gershonite, were Iehieli.
26:22The sonnes of Iehieli, Zetham and Ioel his brother, which were ouer the treasures of the house of the Lord.
26:23Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:
26:24And Shebuel the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.
26:25And his brethren by Eliezer: Rehabiah his sonne, and Ieshaiah his sonne, and Ioram his sonne, and Zichri his sonne, & Shelomith his sonne.
26:26Which Shelomith and his brethren, were ouer all the treasures of the dedicate things, which Dauid the king and the chiefe fathers, the captaines ouer thousands and hundreds, and the captaines of the hoste had dedicated.
26:27Out of the spoyles wonne in battels, did they dedicate to maintaine the house of the Lord.
26:28And all that Samuel the Seer, and Saul the sonne of Kish, and Abner the sonne of Ner, and Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah had dedicated, and whosoeuer had dedicated any thing, it was vnder the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.
26:29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sonnes, were for the outward busines ouer Israel, for officers and Iudges.
26:30And of the Hebronits, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seuen hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Iorden westward, in all busines of the Lord, and in the seruice of the king.
26:31Among the Hebronites was Ieriiah the chiefe, euen among the Hebronits, according to the generations of his fathers: in the fourtieth yeere of the reigne of Dauid, they were sought for, and there were found among them mightie men of valour, at Iazer of Gilead.
26:32And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seuen hundred chiefe fathers, whom King Dauid made rulers ouer the Reubenites, the Gadites, & the halfe tribe of Manasseh, for euery matter perteining to God, and affaires of the king.

 

26:1These are the deuisions of the porters. Among the Corethites, Meselemiahu, the sonne of Kore of the children of Asaph
26:2And the sonnes of Meselemiahu were these: Zachariahu the eldest, Iedihel the second, Zebadiahu the third, and Iahniel the fourth
26:3Elam the fifth, Iehohanan the sixt, and Eiloenai the seuenth
26:4The sonnes of Obed Edom, Semeia the eldest, Iehosabad the second, Ioah the third, Sacar the fourth, and Nathanael the fifth
26:5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seuenth, Peulthai the eyght, for God blessed him
26:6And vnto Semeia, his sonne, were sonnes borne, that ruled in the house of their father: for they were men of might
26:7The sonnes of Semeia, Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, and his brethren were strong men, Elihu and Samachiahu
26:8All these were of the children of Obed Edom: they and their children, and their brethren, actiue men and of strength to do seruice, euen threescore and two of Obed Edom
26:9And Meselemiahu had sonnes and brethren, actiue men, eyghteene
26:10The sonnes of Hosa of the children of Merari, Simri the chiefe, & though he was not the eldest, yet his father set him in the chiefest place
26:11Helkiahu the second, Tebaliahu the third, and Zechariahu the fourth: all the sonnes and brethren of Hosa were thirteene
26:12Among these was deuided the office of the portership, that they shoulde be auncient men, to wayte with their brethren, when they ministred in the house of the Lorde
26:13And they cast lottes betweene the great and small, after the housholde of their fathers, for euery gate
26:14And the lot on the eastsyde fell vpon Selemiahu: And for Zachariahu his sonne (which was a wyfe counsailour) they cast lottes, and his lot came out toward the north
26:15And Obed Edoms lot fell to the south: And for his sonnes fell the houses of Asuppim
26:16For Shuppim and Hosa toward the west, with the gate Shallecheth by the paued streate that goeth vpward, one watch being ouer against an other
26:17In the east were sixe Leuites, and toward the north foure a day, toward the south foure a day, and toward Asuppim two and two
26:18In Parbar toward the west two at the going vp, and two in Pharbar
26:19These are the deuisions of the porters among the sonnes of Koreh, & among the sonnes of Merari
26:20And of the Leuites, Ahiah had the ouersight of the treasures of the house of God, & of the treasures of the dedicate thinges
26:21As concerning the sonnes of Laadan, which were the children of the Gersonites of Laadan, came auncient fathers, euen of Laadan there came Gersuni, and Iehieli
26:22The sonnes of Iehieli, Zetham, and Ioel his brother, which were ouer the treasures of the house of the Lorde
26:23Of the Amramites also and Izaharites, Hebronites, and Ozielites
26:24And Subael the sonne of Gersom the sonne of Moyses, was a ruler ouer the treasures
26:25And of his brethren the sonnes of Eliezer was Rahabiahu, whose sonne was Iesaiahu, whose sonne was Ioram, whose sonne was Zichri, whose sonne was Selomith
26:26Which Selomith & his brethren were ouer all the treasures of the dedicate thinges, which Dauid the king, and the auncient fathers, the captaynes ouer thousandes and hundredes, and the captaynes of the hoast had dedicated
26:27Out of the spoyles wonne in battailes, they did dedicate to maynetayne the house of the Lorde
26:28And all that Samuel the sear, & Saul the sonne of Cis, and Abner the sonne of Ner, and Ioab the sonne of Zaruia, had dedicated, and whosoeuer had dedicated any thing, it was vnder the hand of Selomith and of his brethren
26:29Of the Izaharites was Chenaniahu and his sonnes appoynted to the busynesse withoutfoorth ouer Israel: for they were officers and iudges
26:30And of the Hebronites, Hasabiahu and his brethren, men of actiuitie, a thousand and seuen hundred, were officers among them of Israel beyond Iordane westward, in al busynesse belonging to God, and seruice of the king
26:31Among the Hebronites was Iedia the chiefest, euen a prince among the Hebronites and fathers of his kinred: And in the fourtith yere of the kingdome of Dauid, they were sought for, and there were founde among them men of actiuitie at Iazer in Gilead
26:32And his brethren were men of actiuitie, euen two thousand and seuen hundred auncient fathers: whom king Dauid made rulers ouer the Rubenites, Gadites, and ouer the halfe tribe of Manasse, for euery matter pertayning to God, and for the kinges busynesse

26:8All these were of the sonnes of Obed Edom, they and their sonnes and their brethren mightie and strong to serue, euen three score and two of Obed Edom.
26:9And of Meshelemiah sonnes and brethren, eighteene mightie men.
26:10And of Hosah of the sonnes of Merari, the sonnes were Shuri the chiefe, and (though he was not the eldest, yet his father made him the chiefe)
26:11Helkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth: all the sonnes and the brethren of Hosa were thirteene.
26:12Of these were the diuisions of the porters of the chiefe men, hauing the charge against their brethren, to serue in the house of the Lord.
26:13And they cast lottes both small and great for the house of their fathers, for euery gate.
26:14And the lot on the East side fel to Shelemiah: then they cast lottes for Zechariah his sonne a wise couseller, and his lot came out Northward:
26:15To Obed Edom Southwarde, and to his sonnes the house of Asuppim:
26:16To Shuppim and to Hosah Westwarde with the gate of Shallecheth by the paued streete that goeth vpward, warde ouer against warde.
26:17Eastward were sixe Leuites, and Northwarde foure a day, and Southward foure a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
26:18In Parbar towarde the West were foure by the paued streete, and two in Parbar.
26:19These are the diuisions of the porters of the sonnes of Kore, and of the sonnes of Merari.
26:20And of the Leuites. Ahiiah was ouer the treasures of the house of God, and ouer the treasures of the dedicate things.
26:21Of the sonnes of Laadan the sonnes of the Gershunnites descending of Laadan, the chiefe fathers of Laadan were Gershunni and Iehieli.
26:22The sonnes of Iehieli were Zethan and Ioel his brother, appoynted ouer the treasures of the house of the Lord.
26:23Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites and of the Ozielites.
26:24And Shebuel the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Moses, a ruler ouer the treasures.
26:25And of his brethren which came of Eliezer, was Rehabiah his sonne, and Ieshaiah his sonne, and Ioram his sonne, and Zichri his sonne, and Shelomith his sonne.
26:26Which Shelomith and his brethren were ouer al the treasures of the dedicate things, which Dauid the King, and the chiefe fathers, the captaines ouer thousands, and hundreths, and the captaines of the armie had dedicated.
26:27(For of the battels and of the spoyles they did dedicate to maintaine the house of the Lord)
26:28And al that Samuel the Seer had dedicate and Saul the sonne of Kish and Abner the sonne of Ner, and Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah, and whosoeuer had dedicate any thing, it was vnder the hand of Shelomith, and his brethren.
26:29Of the Izharites was Chenaniah and his sonnes, for the busines without ouer Israel, for officers and for Iudges.
26:30Of the Hebronites, Ashabiah and his brethren, men of actiuitie, a thousande, and seuen hundreth were officers for Israel beyonde Iorden Westward, in all the busines of the Lord, and for the seruice of the King.
26:31Among the Hebronites was Iediiah the chiefest, euen the Hebronites by his generations according to the families. And in the fourtieth yere of the reigne of Dauid they were sought for: and there were founde among them men of actiuitie at Iazer in Gilead.
26:32And his brethren men of actiuitie, two thousand and seuen hundreth chiefe fathers, whom King Dauid made rulers ouer the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the halfe tribe of Manasseh, for euery matter perteining to God, and for the Kings busines.
