1 Chronicles - Chapter: 27

>
27:1Nowe the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chiefe fathers and captaines of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that serued the king in any matter of the courses, which came in, and went out moneth by moneth, throughout all the moneths of the yeare, of euery course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:2Ouer the first course for the first moneth was Iashobeam the sonne of Zabdiel, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:3Of the children of Perez, was the chiefe of all the captaines of the host, for the first moneth.
27:4And ouer the course of the second moneth was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: In his course likewise were twentie and foure thousand.
27:5The third captaine of the host for the third month was Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada a chiefe priest, and in his course were twenty and foure thousand.
27:6This is that Benaiah, who was mightie among the thirtie, and aboue the thirty: and in his course was Amizabad his sonne.
27:7The fourth captaine for the fourth moneth was Asahel the brother of Ioab, and Zebadiah his sonne after him: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:8The fifth captaine for the fifth moneth, was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:9The sixt captaine for the sixt moneth, was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:10The seuenth captaine for the seuenth moneth was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:11The eighth captaine for the eighth moneth, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:12The ninth captaine for the ninth moneth, was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Beniamites: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:13The tenth captaine for the tenth moneth, was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:14The eleuenth captaine for the eleuenth moneth was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and foure thousand.
27:15The twelfth captaine for the twelfth moneth, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.
27:16Furthermore, ouer the tribes of Israel: The Ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the sonne of Maachah.
27:17Of the Leuites: Hashabiah the sonne of Kemuel; of the Aaronites, Zadok.
27:18Of Iudah, Elihu, one of the brethren of Dauid: of Issachar, Omri the sonne of Michael.
27:19Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Ierimoth the sonne of Azriel.
27:20Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the sonne of Azazziah: of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Ioel the sonne of Pedaiah.
27:21Of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the sonne of Zechariah: of Beniamin, Iaasiel the son of Abner.
27:22Of Dan, Azariel the sonne of Ieroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
27:23But Dauid tooke not the number of them from twentie yeeres olde and vnder: because the Lord had said, hee would increase Israel like to the starres of the heauens.
27:24Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel, neither was the number put in the account of the Chronicles of King Dauid.
27:25And ouer the Kings treasures, was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: and ouer the store-houses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Iehonathan the sonne of Uzziah.
27:26And ouer them that did the worke of the field, for tillage of the ground, was Ezri the sonne of Chelub.
27:27And ouer the Uineyards, was Shimei the Ramathite: ouer the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars, was Sabdi the Ziphmite.
27:28And ouer the Oliue trees, and the Sycomore trees that were in the lowe plaines, was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and ouer the cellars of oyle was Ioash.
27:29And ouer the herdes that fed in Sharon, was Shetrai the Sharonite: and ouer the herds that were in the valleys, was Shaphat the sonne of Adlai.
27:30Ouer the camels also, was Obil the Ishmaelite: and ouer the Asses, was Iehdeiah the Meronothite.
27:31And ouer the flockes, was Iaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king Dauids.
27:32Also Ionathan Dauids uncle, was a counseller, a wise man, and a Scribe: and Iehiel the sonne of Hachmoni, was with the kings sonnes.
27:33And Ahitophel was the kings counseller, and Hushai the Archite, was the kings companion.
27:34And after Ahitophel, was Iehoiada the sonne of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the Kings armie was Ioab.

27:6This is that Banaiahu which was most mightie among thirtie, and aboue thirtie: And in his part was Amizabad his sonne
27:7The fourth captayne for the fourth moneth, was Asael the brother of Ioab, and Zabadaia his sonne after him, and in his course were twentie & foure thousand
27:8The fifth captayne for the fifth moneth, was Samhut the Iezrahite, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:9The sixt captayne for the sixt moneth, was Ira the sonne of Ickes a Therkuite, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:10The seuenth captayne for the seuenth moneth, was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:11The eyght captayne for the eyght moneth, was Sibbechai an Husathite of ye kynrede of Zarhi, & in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:12The ninth captayne for the ninth moneth, was Abiezer an Anathothite of the sonnes of Iemini, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:13The tenth captayne for the tenth moneth, was Maharai the Netophatite of the Zarahites, & in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:14The eleuenth captayne for the eleuenth moneth, was Banaia the Pirathonite of the children of Ephraim, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:15The twelfth captayne for the twelfth moneth, was Heldai the Netophatite of Othoniel, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand
27:16And the rulers ouer the tribes of Israel were these: Among the Rubenites, was Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: Among the Simeonites also, was Saphathiahu the sonne of Maacha
27:17Among the Leuites, Hasabia the sonne of Kemuel: Among the Aaronites, Zadok
27:18Among them of Iuda, Elihu of the brethren of Dauid: Among them of Issachar, Omri the sonne of Michael
27:19Among them of Zabulon, Iesmaiahu the sonne of Obadiahu: Among the of Nephthali, Ierimoth ye sonne of Azriel
27:20Among the children of Ephraim, Hosea the sonne of Azariahu: In the halfe tribe also of Manasse, Ioel the sonne of Pedaiahu
27:21Of the halfe tribe of Manasse in Gilead, Iiddo the sonne of Zachariahu: Among them of Beniamin, Iaasiel the sonne of Abner
27:22Among them of Dan, Azarel the sonne of Ieroham. These are the lordes of the tribes of Israel
27:23But Dauid toke not the number of them vnder twentie yeres, because the Lorde saide he would encrease Israel lyke vnto the starres of the skye
27:24And Ioab the sonne of Zaruia began to number: but he finished it not, because that there fell wrath for it against Israel, neither was the number put into the cronicles of king Dauid
27:25Ouer the kinges treasures was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: And ouer the treasures of the fieldes, in the cities, and villages, and castels, was Iehonathan the sonne of Uzziahu
27:26And ouer the workemen in the fieldes that tilled the grounde, was Ezri the sonne of Chelub
27:27And the ouersight of the vineyardes, had Semei the Ramathite: Ouer the encrease also of the vineyardes, & ouer the winesellers, was Sabdi the Zaphonite
27:28And ouer the oliue trees and mulberie trees that were in the valleyes, was Baal Hanan the Gederite: And ouer the treasure of oyle, was Ioas
27:29Ouer the oxen that fed in Saron, was Setrai the Saronite: And ouer the oxen that were in the valleyes, was Saphat the sonne of Adlai
27:30Ouer the cammels, Obil the Ismaelite: And ouer the asses, was Iehdeiahu the Meronothite
27:31Ouer the sheepe was Iazez the Hagerite: All these were the rulers of the substaunce of king Dauid
27:32And Iehonathan Dauids vncle, a man of counsell and of vnderstanding, was a scribe, and Iehiel the sonne of Hachmoni was with ye kinges sonnes [instructing them.
27:33And Ahitophel was of the kinges counsell: And Husai the Arachite was the kinges companion
27:34And next to Ahitophel was Iehoiada the sonne of Banaiahu, and Abiathar: and the captayne of the kinges warre, was Ioab

 

27:1The children of Israel also after their nomber, euen the chiefe fathers and captaines of thousandes and of hundreths, and their officers that serued the King by diuers courses, which came and in went out, moneth by moneth throughout al the moneths of the yeere: in euery course were foure and twentie thousand.
27:2Ouer the first course for the first moneth was Iashobeam the sonne of Zabdiel: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
27:3Of the sonnes of Perez was the chiefe ouer all the princes of the armies for the first moneth.
27:4And ouer the course of the second moneth was Dodai, an Ahohite, and this was his course, and Mikloth was a captaine, and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
27:5The captaine of the thirde hoste for the third moneth was Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada the chiefe Priest: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
27:6This Benaiah was mightie among thirtie and aboue the thirtie, and in his course was Amizabad his sonne.
27:7The fourth for the fourth moneth was Asahel the brother of Ioab, and Zebadiah his sonne after him: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
27:8The fift for ye fift moneth was prince Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:9The sixt for the sixt moneth was Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:10The seuenth for the seuenth moneth was Helez the Pelonite, of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:11The eight for the eight moneth was Sibbecai the Hushathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:12The ninth for the ninth moneth was Abiezer the Anethothite of the sonnes of Iemini: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:13The tenth for the tenth moneth was Maharai, the Netophathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:14The eleueth for the eleuenth moneth was Benaiah the Pirathonite of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:15The twelft for the twelft moneth was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
27:16Moreouer the rulers ouer the tribes of Israel were these: ouer the Reubenites was ruler, Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: ouer the Shimeonites, Shephatiah the sonne of Maachah:
27:17Ouer the Leuites, Hashabiah the sonne of Remuel: ouer them of Aharon, and Zadok:
27:18Ouer Iudah, Elihu of the brethren of Dauid: ouer Issachar, Omri the sonne of Michael:
27:19Ouer Zebulun, Ishmaiah the sonne of Obadiah: ouer Naphtali, Ierimoth the sonne of Azriel:
27:20Ouer the sonnes of Ephraim, Hoshea the sonne of Azazziah: ouer the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Ioel the sonne of Pedaiah:
27:21Ouer the other halfe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the sonne of Zechariah: ouer Beniamin, Iaasiel the sonne of Abner:
27:22Ouer Dan, Azariel the sonne of Ieroham. these are the princes of the tribes of Israel.
27:23But Dauid tooke not the nober of them from twentie yeere olde and vnder, because the Lord had sayde that he would increase Israel like vnto the starres of the heauens.
27:24And Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah beganne to nomber: but hee finished it not, because there came wrath for it against Israel, neither was the nomber put into the Chronicles of King Dauid.
27:25And ouer the Kings treasures was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: and ouer the treasures in the fieldes, in the cities and in the villages and in the towers was Iehonathan the sonne of Vzziah:
