29:1	Furthermore, Dauid the King said vnto all the congregation, Solomon my sonne, whome alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the worke is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.
29:2	Now I haue prepared with all my might for the house of my God, the gold for things to be made of gold, the siluer for things of siluer, and the brasse for things of brasse, the yron for things of yron, and wood for things of wood, onix stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of diuers colours, and all maner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
29:3	Moreouer, because I haue set my affection to the house of my God, I haue of mine owne proper good, of gold and siluer, which I haue giuen to the house of my God, ouer & aboue all that I haue prepared for the holy house:
29:4	Euen three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seuen thousand talents of refined siluer, to ouerlay the walles of the houses withall.
29:5	The gold for things of golde, and the siluer for things of siluer, and for all maner of worke to be made by the hands of Artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his seruice this day vnto the Lord?
29:6	Then the chiefe of the fathers and Princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captaines of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers ouer the Kings worke, offered willingly,
29:7	And gaue for the seruice of the house of God, of gold fiue thousand talents, and ten thousand drammes: and of siluer, ten thousand talents: and of brasse, eighteene thousand talents: and one hundred thousand talents of yron.
29:8	And they with whom precious stones were found, gaue them to the treasure of the house of the Lord, by the hand of Iehiel the Gershonite.
29:9	Then the people reioyced, for that they offred willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord: and Dauid the King also reioyced with great ioy.
29:10	Wherefore Dauid blessed the Lord before all the Congregation: and Dauid saide, Blessed bee thou, Lord God of Israel our father, for euer and euer.
29:11	Thine, O Lord, is the greatnes, and the power, and the glory, & the victorie, and the maiestie: for all that is in the heauen & in the earth, is thine: thine is the kingdome, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head aboue all.
29:12	Both riches, and honour come of thee, and thou reignest ouer all, and in thine hand is power and might, and in thine hand it is to make great, and to giue strength vnto all.
29:13	Now therefore, our God, wee thanke thee, and praise thy glorious Name.
29:14	But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine owne haue we giuen thee.
29:15	For we are strangers before thee, and soiourners, as were all our fathers: Our dayes on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
29:16	O Lord our God, all this store that we haue prepared to build thee an house for thine holy Name, commeth of thine hand, and is all thine owne.
29:17	I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in vprightnesse. As for me, in the vprightnes of mine heart I haue willingly offered all these things: and now haue I seene with ioy, thy people which are present here, to offer willingly vnto thee.
29:18	O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and of Israel our fathers, keepe this for euer in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart vnto thee:
29:19	And giue vnto Solomon my sonne a perfect heart to keepe thy Commaundements, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to doe all these things, and to build the pallace, for the which I haue made prouision.
29:20	And Dauid said to all the Congregation: Nowe blesse the Lord your God. And all the Congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heads, and worshipped the Lord, and the King.
29:21	And they sacrificed sacrifices vnto the Lord, & offered burnt offerings vnto the Lord on the morrow after that day, euen a thousand bullockes, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambes, with their drinke offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
29:22	And did eate and drinke before the Lord on that day with great gladnesse, and they made Solomon the sonne of Dauid King the second time, and anointed him vnto the Lord to be the chiefe gouernour, and Zadok to be Priest.
29:23	Then Solomon sate on the throne of the Lord, as king in stead of Dauid his father, and prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.
29:24	And all the princes and the mightie men, and all the sonnes likewise of king Dauid, submitted themselues vnto Solomon the King.
29:25	And the Lord magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed vpon him such royal maiestie, as had not bene on any king before him in Israel.
29:26	Thus Dauid the sonne of Iesse, reigned ouer all Israel.
29:27	And the time that he reigned ouer Israel, was fourtie yeeres. Seuen yeeres reigned hee in Hebron, and thirtie and three yeeres reigned hee in Ierusalem.
29:28	And he died in a good old age, full of dayes, riches and honour: and Solomon his sonne reigned in his stead.
29:29	Now the acts of Dauid the King first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of Samuel the Seer, and in the booke of Nathan the Prophet, and in the booke of Gad the Seer,
29:30	With all his reigne and his might, and the times that went ouer him, and ouer Israel, and ouer all the kingdomes of the countreys.


29:1	Moreouer Dauid the King sayde vnto all the Congregation, God hath chosen Salomon mine onely sonne yong and tender, and the worke is great: for this house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
29:2	Now I haue prepared with all my power for the house of my God, golde for vessels of golde, and siluer for them of siluer, and brasse for things of brasse, yron for things of yron, and wood for things of wood, and onix stones, and stones to be set, and carbuncle stones and of diuers colours, and all precious stones, and marble stones in aboundance.
29:3	Moreouer, because I haue delite in the house of my God, I haue of mine owne golde and siluer, which I haue giuen to the house of my God, beside all that I haue prepared for the house of the Sanctuarie,
29:4	Euen three thousand talents of gold of the golde of Ophir, and seuen thousand talents of fined siluer to ouerlay the walles of the houses.
29:5	The golde for the things of golde, and the siluer for things of siluer, and for all the worke by the handes of artificers: and who is willing to fill his hand to day vnto the Lord?
29:6	So the princes of the families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captaines of thousands and of hundreths, with the rulers of the Kings worke, offred willingly,
29:7	And they gaue for the seruice of the house of God fiue thousande talents of golde, and ten thousand pieces, and ten thousand talents of siluer, and eighteene thousand talents of brasse, and one hundreth thousand talents of yron.
29:8	And they with whom precious stones were found, gaue them to the treasure of ye house of the Lord, by the hand of Iehiel the Gershunnite.
29:9	And the people reioyced when they offred willingly: for they offred willingly vnto ye Lord, with a perfite heart. And Dauid the King also reioyced with great ioy.
29:10	Therefore Dauid blessed the Lord before all the Congregation, and Dauid sayde, Blessed be thou, O Lord God, of Israel our father, for euer and euer.
29:11	Thine, O Lord, is greatnesse and power, and glory, and victorie and praise: for all that is in heauen and in earth is thine: thine is the kingdome, O Lord, and thou excellest as head ouer all.
29:12	Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest ouer all, and in thine hand is power and strength, and in thine hande it is to make great, and to giue strength vnto all.

29:14	But who am I, and what is my people, that we shoulde be able to offer willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee: and of thine owne hand we haue giuen thee.
29:15	For we are stragers before thee, and soiourners, like all our fathers: our dayes are like ye shadowe vpon the earth, and there is none abiding.
29:16	O Lord our God, all this abundance that we haue prepared to buylde thee an house for thine holy Name, is of thine hand and all is thine.
29:17	I knowe also, my God, that thou tryest the heart, and hast pleasure in righteousnesse: I haue offred willingly in the vprightnesse of mine heart all these things: now also haue I seene thy people which are found here, to offer vnto thee willingly with ioy.
29:18	O Lord God of Abraham, Izhak and Israel our fathers, keepe this for euer in the purpose, and the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their hearts vnto thee.
29:19	And giue vnto Salomon my sonne a perfit heart to keepe thy commandements, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to doe all things, and to builde the house which I haue prepared.
29:20	And Dauid said to all the Congregation, Now blesse the Lord your God. And all the Congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heads, and worshipped the Lord and the King.
29:21	And they offred sacrifices vnto the Lord, and on the morowe after that day, they offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, euen a thousande yong bullocks, a thousand rammes and a thousand sheepe, with their drinke offrings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
29:22	And they did eate and drinke before the Lord the same day with great ioy, and they made Salomon the sonne of Dauid King the seconde time, and anoynted him prince before the Lord, and Zadok for the hie Priest.
29:23	So Salomon sate on the throne of the Lord, as King in steade of Dauid his father, and prospered: and all Israel obeyed him.
29:24	And all the princes and men of power, and all the sonnes of King Dauid submitted them selues vnder King Salomon.
29:25	And the Lord magnified Salomon in dignitie, in the sight of all Israel, and gaue him so glorious a kingdome, as no King had before him in Israel.
29:26	Thus Dauid the sonne of Ishai reigned ouer all Israel.
29:27	And the space that he reigned ouer Israel, was fourtie yeere: seuen yeere reigned he in Hebron, and three and thirtie yeere reigned he in Ierusalem:
29:28	And he dyed in a good age, full of dayes, riches and honour, and Salomon his sonne reigned in his steade.
29:29	Concerning the actes of Dauid the King first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of Samuel the Seer, and in the booke of Nathan the Prophet, and in the booke of Gad the Seer,
29:30	With all his reigne and his power, and times that went ouer him, and ouer Israel and ouer all the kingdomes of the earth.


29:1	And Dauid the kynge sayde vnto all the congregacyon: God hath speciallye chosen Salomon my sonne whych is yet younge & tender, & the worcke is greate, for the house shall not be for man, but for the Lorde God.
29:2	Moreouer, I haue prepared wt all my myghte for the house of God: golde for vessels of golde, syluer fer them of syluer, brasse for thynges of brasse, yron for thynges of yron, & wood for thynges of wood: and onix stones, and stones to be sett, glystringe stones and of diuerse coloure, and all maner of preciouse stones, and marble stones in great aboundance.
29:3	And because I haue lust to the house of my God:
29:4	I haue of myne owne propre good, of golde and syluer whych I haue seuerally geuen to the house of my God, besyde all that I haue prepared for the holy house: euen thre thousande talentes of golde of Ophir, and seuen thousande talentes of tryed syluer: to ouerlaye the walles of the houses withall:
29:5	the golde for thynges of golde syluer for them of syluer, & for all maner of worcke by the handes of artifycers. And whosoeuer is willing, maye this daye consecrate hys hande vnto the Lorde.
29:6	And so the auncient fathers and the Lordes of the trybes of Israel, the captaynes of thousandes and hundredes, with the Lordes that were rulers ouer the kynges worke, were wyllynge
29:7	and gaue for the seruyce of the house of God, fyue thousande talentes of Golde, and ten thousande peces of golde: and ten thousande talentes of syluer, and .xviij. thousande talentes of brasse, and an hundred thousande talentes of yron.
29:8	And they with whom preciouse stones were founde gaue them to the treasure of the house of the Lord, by the hande of Ichiel the Gersonite.
29:9	And the people reioysed, whan they were so wyllynge to geue their goodes, and wyth a perfecte hert they offred vnto the Lorde. And Dauid the kynge reioysed wyth great gladnesse.
29:10	And Dauid blessed the Lorde before all the congregacyon, and sayde: Blessed be thou Lord God of Israel oure father, from euer and for euer.
29:11	Thyne (O Lorde) is greatnesse, and power, glorie, victorie and prayse: for all that is in heauen and in erth is thyne, & thyne is the kyngdom (O Lorde) and thou excellest aboue all, euen as the heed of all.
29:12	And rychesse and honoure come of the, and thou rayguest ouer all, and in thyne hande is power and strength, and in thyne hand it is to make great & to geue strength vnto all.
29:13	And nowe oure God, we thanke the, and prayse thy gloriouse name.
29:14	But whom am I? and what is my people? that we shulde enforce oure selues to geue these thinges so willingly? But all thynges come of the: and of that which we receaued of thyne hande we haue geuen the.
29:15	For we be but straungers before the, and soiourners, as were all oure fathers. Oure dayes on the erth also are but as a shadowe, and there is none abydinge.
29:16	O Lorde oure God, all this stuffe that we haue prepared to buylde the an house for thy holy name, commeth of thyne hande, & is all thyne.
29:17	(I wote also my God) that thou tryest the hertes, and hast pleasure in vnfaynednesse. And in the unfaynednesse of myne herte. I haue willinglye offred all these thinges. And nowe haue I sene thy people which are founde here, to offer vnto the willyngly and wyth gladnesse.
29:18	O Lorde God of Abraham, Isahac, & of Israel oure fathers, kepe this for euer, as the begynnynge of the thoughtes of the herte of thy people, and prepare their hertes vnto the.
29:19	And geue vnto Salomon my sonne, a perfecte herte, to kepe thy commaundementes, thy testymonies and thy statutes, and to do all, & to buylde the house for the which I haue made prouision for.
29:20	And Dauid sayde to all the congregacyon: Nowe blesse the Lorde youre God. And all the congregacion blessed the Lorde God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heades and worshypped the Lorde and the kynge.
29:21	And they offered offerynges vnto the Lorde. And on the morowe after the sayde daye, they offered burntofferynges vnto the Lorde euen a thousande younge oxen, a thousande rammes & a thousande shepe, with their dryncke offerynges. Many sacrifyces offred they for all Israel,
29:22	& dyd eate & dryncke before the Lorde the same daye wt greate gladnesse. And they made Salomon the sonne of Dauid kynge the seconde tyme, and annoynted him prynce before the Lorde, and Zadock to be the hye preaste.
29:23	And Salomon sate on the seate of the Lorde, and was kyng in steade of Dauid his father, & prospered, and all they of Israel obeyed him.
29:24	And all the Lordes and men of power, and all the sonnes of kynge Dauid submitted them selues, & were vnder kynge Salomon.
29:25	And the Lorde magnified Salomon in dignitye, in the syght of all them of Israel, and gaue him so gloriouse a kyngdome as no kynge had before him in Israel.
29:26	And so Dauid the sonne of Isay raygned ouer all Israel.
29:27	And the space that he raygned ouer Israel, was fourtye yere: seuen yeare raygned he in Hebron, & .xxxiij. yere raygned he in Ierusalem.
29:28	And he dyed in a good age: full of dayes, ryches and honoure. And Salomon his sonne raygned in his steade.
29:29	The actes of Dauid the kynge fyrst and laste, beholde, they are written in the boke of Samuel the sear, and in the boke of Nathan the prophete, and in the boke of Gad the sear,
29:30	wt all his kyngdome and power & tymes, that went ouer him and ouer all Israel, & ouer all the kyngdomes of the erth.
