2 Chronicles - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Ierusalem in Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared vnto Dauid his father, in the place that Dauid had prepared in the threshing floore of Ornan the Iebusite.
3:2And he began to build in the second day of the second moneth, in the fourth yeere of his reigne.
3:3Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubites after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twentie cubites.
3:4And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was atcording to the breadth of the house, twentie cubites, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he ouerlaid it within, with pure gold.
3:5And the greater house hee sieled with firre tree, which he ouerlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palme trees and chaines.
3:6And he garnished the house with precious stones for beautie, and the gold was gold of Paruaim.
3:7Hee ouerlaid also the house, the beames, the postes and the wals thereof, and the doores thereof with gold, and graued Cherubims on the walles.
3:8And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was, according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twentie cubits: and he ouerlaid it with fine gold amounting to sixe hundred talents.
3:9And the weight of the nailes was fiftie shekels of gold: and he ouerlaide the vpper chambers with gold.
3:10And in the most holy place hee made two Cherubims of image work, and ouerlaid them with gold.
3:11And the wings of the Cherubims were twentie cubites long: one wing of the one Cherub was fiue cubites, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise fiue cubites, reaching to the wing of the other Cherub:
3:12And one wing of the other Cherub was fiue cubites, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was fiue cubites also, ioyning to the wing of the other Cherub.
3:13The wings of these Cherubims spread themselues forth twentie cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
3:14And he made the vaile of blue and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought Cherubims thereon.
3:15Also hee made before the house, two pillars of thirtie and fiue cubites high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them, was fiue cubites.
3:16And he made chaines, as in the Oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars, and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chaines.
3:17And he reared vp the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left, and called the name of that on the right hand, Iachin, and the name of that on the left, Boaz.

3:3And these are the patternes whereby Solomon was instruct to buylde the house of God: The length was threescore cubites after the olde measure, and the breadth twentie cubites
3:4And the porche that was before the length in the front, according to the breadth of the house, was twentie cubites, and the heyght was an hundred and twentie cubites: and he ouerlayed it on the inner syde with pure golde
3:5And the greater house he seeled with firre tree, whiche he ouerlayed with the best golde, and graued thereto paulme trees and chaynes
3:6And he ouerlayed the house with precious stone beautyfully: And the golde was golde of Paruaim
3:7The house I say the beames, postes, walles, and doores therof, ouerlayed he with golde, and graued Cherubs on the walles
3:8And he made the house most holy: whose length was twentie cubites like to the breadth of the house, and the breadth therof was also twentie cubites: and he ouerlayed it with good golde, euen with sixe hundred talentes
3:9And the wayght of the nayles of golde was fiftie sicles: and he ouerlayed the vpper chambers with golde
3:10And in the house most holy he made two Cherubims of image worke, like children, and ouerlayed them with gold
3:11And the wynges of the Cherubs were twentie cubites long: The one wyng was fiue cubites, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wyng was likewise fiue cubites, reaching to the wyng of the other Cherub
3:12And euen so the one wyng of the other Cherub was fiue cubites, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wyng was fiue cubites also, and reached to the wyng of the other Cherub
3:13So that the wynges of the sayde Cherubs were stretched out twentie cubites: and they stoode on their feete, and loked inwardes
3:14And he made a fore hanging of yelow silke, purple, crymosin, and fine white, & caused the pictures of Cherubs to be brodred theron
3:15And he made before the house two pillers of thirtie and fiue cubites high, and the head that was aboue on the top of euery one of them was fiue cubites
3:16And he made chaynes of wreathe worke for the quier, & put them on the heades of the pillers: and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chaynes
3:17And he reared vp the pillers before the temple, one on the right hande, and the other on the left: and called the right Iachin, and the left Boaz

3:12Likewise the wing of ye other Cherub was fiue cubites, reaching to the wall of the house, and the other wing fiue cubites ioyning to the wing of the other Cherub.
3:13The wings of these Cherubims were spread abroade twentie cubites: they stoode on their feete, and their faces were toward the house.
3:14He made also the vaile of blew silke and purple, and crimosin, and fine linen, and wrought Cherubims thereon.
3:15And he made before the house two pillars of fiue and thirtie cubites hie: and the chapiter that was vpon the top of eche of them, was fiue cubites.
3:16He made also chaines for the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars, and made an hundreth pomegranates, and put them among the chaines.
3:17And he set vp the pillars before the Temple, one on the right hande and the other on the left, and called that on the right hand Iachin, and that on the left hand Boaz.
