2 Chronicles - Chapter: 5

>
5:1Thus al the worke that Solomon made for the house of the Lord, was finished: & Solomon brought in all the things that Dauid his father had dedicated; and the siluer, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.
5:2Then Solomon assembled the Elders of Israel, and all the heads of the Tribes, the chiefe of the fathers of the children of Israel vnto Ierusalem, to bring vp the Arke of the Couenant of the Lord, out of the citie of Dauid, which is Zion.
5:3Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselues vnto the king in the feast, which was in the seuenth moneth.
5:4And all the Elders of Israel came, and the Leuites tooke vp the Arke.
5:5And they brought vp the Arke, and the tabernacle of the Congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the Priests and the Leuites bring vp.
5:6Also king Solomon and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled vnto him before the Arke, sacrificed sheepe and oxen, which could not be told nor numbred for multitude.
5:7And the priests brought in the Arke of the Couenant of the Lord vnto his place, to the Oracle of the house, into the most holy place, euen vnder the wings of the Cherubims:
5:8For the Cherubims spread foorth their wings ouer the place of the Arke, and the Cherubims couered the Arke and the staues thereof, aboue.
5:9And they drew out the staues of the Arke, that the ends of the staues were seene from the Arke before the Oracle, but they were not seene without. And there it is vnto this day.
5:10There was nothing in the Arke saue the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the Lord made a couenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
5:11And it came to passe when the Priests were come out of the holy place (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
5:12Also the Leuites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Ieduthun, with their sonnes and their brethren, being arayed in white linnen hauing cymbals, and psalteries, and harpes, stood at the East end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twentie Priests, sounding with trumpets:)
5:13It came euen to passe, as the trumpetters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord: and when they lift vp their voyce with the trumpets, and cymbals, and instruments of musicke, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer: that then the house was filled with a cloude, euen the house of the Lord.
5:14So that the Priests could not stand to minister, by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

5:1And so all the worke that Solomon made in the house of the lord was finished: And Solomon brought in all the thinges that Dauid his father had dedicated, with the siluer and golde, and al the iewels, and put them among the treasures of the house of God
5:2Then Solomon gathered the elders of Israel together, and all the heades of the tribes and auncient fathers of the children of Israel, vnto Hierusalem, to bring the arke of the couenaunt of the Lorde out of the citie of Dauid, whiche is in Sion
5:3Wherefore all the men of Israel resorted vnto the king in the feast, euen in the seuenth moneth
5:4And all the elders of Israel came, and the Leuites toke vp the arke
5:5And the priestes & the Leuites brought away the arke of the tabernacle of ye congregatio, & al the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, and they bare them
5:6And king Solomon & all the congregation of Israel that were assembled vnto him before the arke, offered sheepe and oxen, so many that they coulde not be tolde nor numbred for multitude
5:7And the priestes brought the arke of the appoyntment of the Lorde vnto his place, euen into the quier of the temple within the place most holy, and set it vnder the wynges of the Cherubs
5:8So that the Cherubs stretched out their wynges ouer the place of the arke, and the Cherubs couered both the arke and her barres aboue on hye
5:9And the barres of the arke were so long, that the heades of the barres were seene without the arke within the quier, but not without: and there the arke remayned vnto this day
5:10But there was nothing in the arke saue the two tables which Moyses put therin at Horeb, when the Lord made a couenaunt with the children of Israel after they were come out of Egypt
5:11And it fortuned, that when the priestes were come out of the holy place (for all the priestes that were present, were sanctified, and did not then wayte by course
5:12That both the Leuites and the singers, vnder Asaph, Heman, and Ieduthun, were appoynted to sundry offices with their children and brethren, and were arayed in fyne whyte, hauing cymbales, psalteries, and harpes, and stoode at the east ende of the aulter, and by them an hundred and twentie priestes blowing with trumpets
5:13And the trumpet blowers and the singers so agreed, that it seemed but one voyce in praysing & thanking the Lorde: And when they lift vp their voyce with the trumpets, cymbales, and other instrumentes of musicke, and when they praysed the Lord, How that he is good, and that his mercie lasteth euer: the house of God was filled with a cloude
5:14So that the priestes coulde not endure to minister by the reason of the cloude: For the maiestie of the Lorde had filled the house of God

5:1So was all the worke finished that Salomon made for the house of the Lord, and Salomon brought in the things that Dauid his father had dedicated, with the siluer and the golde, and all the vessels, and put them among the treasures of the house of God.
5:2Then Salomon assembled the Elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefe fathers of the children of Israel vnto Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the citie of Dauid, which is Zion.
5:3And all ye men of Israel assembled vnto the King at the feast: it was in ye seuenth moneth.
5:4And all the Elders of Israel came, and the Leuites tooke vp the Arke.
5:5And they caried vp the Arke and the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle, those did the Priests and Leuites bring vp.
5:6And King Salomon and all the Congregation of Israel that were assembled vnto him, were before ye Arke, offring sheepe and bullocks, which could not be told nor nobred for multitude.
5:7So the Priests brought the Arke of the couenant of the Lord vnto his place, into the Oracle of the house, into the most Holy place, euen vnder the wings of the Cherubims.
5:8For ye Cherubims stretched out their wings ouer the place of the Arke, and the Cherubims couered the Arke and the barres thereof aboue.
5:9And they drewe out the barres, that the endes of the barres might bee seene out of the Arke before the Oracle, but they were not seene without: and there they are vnto this day.
5:10Nothing was in the Arke, saue the two Tables, which Moses gaue at Horeb, where the Lord made a couenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
5:11And when the Priestes were come out of the Sanctuarie (for all the Priests that were present, were sanctified and did not waite by course.
5:12And the Leuites the singers of all sortes, as of Asaph, of Heman, of Ieduthun, and of their sonnes and of their brethren, being clad in fine linen, stoode with cymbales, and with violes and harpes at the East ende of the altar, and with them an hundreth and twentie Priestes blowing with trumpets:
5:13And they were as one, blowing trumpets, and singing, and made one sounde to bee heard in praysing and thanking the Lord, and when they lift vp their voyce with trumpets and with cymbales, and with instruments of musicke, and when they praysed the Lord, singing, For he is good, because his mercie lasteth for euer) then the house, euen the house of the Lord was filled with a cloude,
5:14So that the Priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloude: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
