>
8:1And it came to passe (at the end of twentie yeeres, wherein Solomon had built the house of the Lord, & his own house)
8:2That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
8:3And Solomon went to Hamath Zobah, and preuailed against it.
8:4And he built Tadmor in the wildernesse, and all the store-cities, which he built in Hamath.
8:5Also he built Beth-horon the vpper, and Beth-horon the nether, fensed cities with walles, gates and barres:
8:6And Baalath, and all the store-cities that Solomon had, and all the charet-cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.
8:7As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites, which were not of Israel:
8:8But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not; them did Solomon make to pay tribute, vntill this day.
8:9But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no seruants for his worke: but they were men of warre, and chiefe of his captains, and captains of his charets and horsemen.
8:10And these were the chiefe of king Solomons officers, euen two hundred and fifty, that bare rule ouer the people.
8:11And Solomon brought vp the daughter of Pharaoh out of the citie of Dauid, vnto the house that he had built for her: for hee said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of Dauid king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the Arke of the Lord hath come.
8:12Then Solomon offered burnt offerings vnto the Lord on the Altar of the Lord, which he had built before the porch:
8:13Euen after a certaine rate euery day, offering according to the commandement of Moses, on the Sabbaths, and on the new Moones, and on the solemne Feasts three times in the yeere, euen in the feast of Unleauened bread, and in the feast of Weekes, and in the feast of Tabernacles.
8:14And he appointed, according to the order of Dauid his father, the courses of the Priests to their seruice, and the Leuites to their charges, to praise and minister before the Priests, as the duety of euery day required: the porters also by their courses, at euery gate: for so had Dauid the man of God commanded.
8:15And they departed not from the commandement of the King vnto the Priests and Leuites, concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.
8:16Now all the worke of Solomon was prepared vnto the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, and vntill it was finished: so the house of God was perfected.
8:17Then went Solomon to Ezion Geber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.
8:18And Huram sent him by the hands of his seruants, shippes, and seruants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the seruants of Solomon to Ophir, and tooke thence foure hundred and fiftie talents of golde, and brought them to king Solomon.

8:1And it fortuned, that after twentie yeres, when Solomon had buylt the house of the Lorde and his owne house
8:2He buylt the cities that Hiram gaue hym, and put of the children of Israel in them
8:3And Solomon went to Hamath Zoba, and strengthed it
8:4And he buylt Thadmor in the wildernesse, & repaired all the store cities which were in Hamath
8:5And he buylt Bethhoron the vpper, and Bethhoron the neather, strong cities, hauing walles, gates, and barres
8:6And Baalah, and al the store cities that Solomon had, and all the charet cities, and the cities of the horsmen, and euery pleasaunt place that Solomon had last to buyld in Hierusalem & Libanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion
8:7And all the people that were left of the Hethites, Amorites, Pherezites, Heuites and Iebusites, whiche were not of the children of Israel
8:8But were the children of them whiche were left after them in the lande, and were not consumed of the children of Israel, them dyd Solomon make to pay tribute, vntill this day
8:9But of the children of Israel dyd Solomon make no bondemen for his worke: but they were men of warre, and rulers, and great lordes with him, and captaynes ouer his charets and horsemen
8:10And king Solomons officers that ouersawe and ruled the people, were two hundred and fiftie
8:11And Solomon brought the daughter of Pharao out of the citie of Dauid, into the house that he had buylded for her: For he sayde, My wyfe shall not dwel in the house of Dauid king of Israel, for it is holy, because that the arke of the Lorde is come vnto it
8:12Then Solomon offred burnt offringes vnto the Lorde on the aulter of the Lorde, whiche he had buylt before the porche
8:13Doyng euery thing in his due time, and offering according to the commaundemet of Moyses, in the Sabbathes, new moones, and solempne feastes, three times in the yere, that is to say in the feast of sweete bread, in the feast of weekes, and in the feast of tabernacles
8:14And Solomon set the sortes of priestes to their offices as Dauid his father had ordered them, and the Leuites in their watches, for to prayse and minister before the priestes day by day, and the porters by course at euery gate: for so had Dauid the man of God commaunded
8:15And they omitted not the commaundement of the king vnto the priestes and Leuites, concerning any maner of thing, and concerning the treasures
8:16For Solomon made prouision for the charges, from the first day that the foundation of the house of the Lorde was layed, till it was finished, that the house of the Lorde was perfect
8:17Then went king Solomon to Ezion Gaber, and to Eloth at the sea side in the lande of Edom
8:18And Hiram sent hym by the handes of his seruauntes, shippes, and seruauntes that had knowledge of the sea: and they went with the seruauntes of Solomon to Ophir, and caryed thence foure hundred and fyftie talentes of golde, and brought it to king Solomon

8:1And after twentie yeere when Salomon had built the house of the Lord, and his owne house,
8:2Then Salomon built the cities that Huram gaue to Salomon, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
8:3And Salomon went to Hamath Zobah, and ouercame it.
8:4And he built Tadmor in the wildernesse, and repayred all the cities of store which hee built in Hamath.
8:5And he built Beth-horon the vpper, and Beth-horon the nether, cities defensed with walles, gates and barres:
8:6Also Baalath, and al the cities of store that Salomon had, and all the charet cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and euery pleasant place that Salomon had a minde to builde in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the lande of his dominion.
8:7And all the people that were left to ye Hittites, and ye Amorites, and Perizzites, and the Hiuuites, and the Iebusites, which were not of Israel,
8:8But of their children which were left after them in the lande, whome the children of Israel had not consumed, euen them did Salomon make tributaries vntill this day.
8:9But of the children of Israel did Salomon make no seruantes for his worke: for they were men of warre, and his chiefe princes, and the captaines of his charets and of his horsemen.
8:10So these were the chiefe of the officers which Salomon had, euen two hundreth and fiftie that bare rule ouer the people.
8:11Then Salomon brought vp the daughter of Pharaoh out of the citie of Dauid, into the house that he had built for her: for he saide, My wife shall not dwel in the house of Dauid King of Israel: for it is holy, because that the Arke of the Lord came vnto it.
8:12Then Salomon offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, on the altar of the Lord, which he had built before the porche,
8:13To offer according to the commandement of Moses euery day, in the Sabbaths, and in the newe moones, and in the solemne feastes, three times in the yeere, that is, in the feast of the Vnleauened bread, and in the feast of the Weekes, and in the feast of the Tabernacles.
8:14And he set the courses of the Priestes to their offices, according to the order of Dauid his father, and the Leuites in their watches, for to praise and minister before the Priestes euery day, and the porters by their courses, at euery gate: for so was the commandement of Dauid the man of God.
8:15And they declined not from the commandement of the King, concerning the Priests and the Leuites, touching al things, and touching the treasures.
8:16Nowe Salomon had made prouision for all the worke, from the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, vntill it was finished: so the house of the Lord was perfite.
8:17Then went Salomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth by the sea side in the lande of Edom.
8:18And Huram sent him by the handes of his seruants, shippes, and seruants that had knowledge of the sea: and they went with the seruants of Salomon to Ophir, and brought thence foure hundreth and fiftie talents of golde, and brought them to King Salomon.
