12:1These are the priestes and Leuites that went vp with Zorobabel the sonne of Salathiel: and with Iesua, Saraia, Ieremia, and Esdras
12:2Amaria, Malluch, Hattus
12:3Sechania, Rehum, Merimoth
12:4Iddo, Genthon, Abia
12:5Miamin, Madaia, Belga
12:6Semaia, Ioiarib, Iedaia
12:7Salu, Amok, Helkia, and Iedaia: These were the heades among the priestes and their brethren in the dayes of Iesua
12:8The Leuites were these: Iesua, Bennui, Cadmiel, Sarebia, Iuda, and Mathania, whiche was ouer the office of thankesgeuing, he and his brethren
12:9Bacbucio, and Hanni, and their brethren, were about them in the watches
12:10Iesua begat Ioakim, Ioakim also begat Eliasib, and Eliasib begat Ioiada
12:11Ioiada begat Ionathan, and Ionathan begat Iaddua
12:12In the dayes of Ioakim were these the chiefe fathers among the priestes: vnder Saraia, Maraia: vnder Ieremi, Hanania
12:13Under Esdras, Mesullam: vnder Amaria, Iehoanan
12:14Under Milico, Ionathan: vnder Sebania, Ioseph
12:15Under Horim, Adna: vnder Maraioth, Helka
12:16Under Iddo, Zacharie: vnder Genthon, Mesullam
12:17Under Abia, Zichri: vnder Miniamin, and Moadia, Piltat
12:18Under Belga, Sammua: vnder Semaia, Iehonathan
12:19Under Ioiarib, Mathenai: vnder Iadaia, Uzzi
12:20Under Selai, Kellai: vnder Amok, Eber
12:21Under Helchia, Hasabia: vnder Iadaia, Nathanael
12:22And in the time of Eliasib, Ioiada, Iohanan, and Iadua, were the chiefe fathers among the Leuites & the priestes written, in the raigne of Darius the Persian
12:23The children of Leui the principall fathers, were written in the cronicles, vntill the time of Ionathan the sonne of Eliasib
12:24And these were the chiefe among the Leuites: Hasabia, Serebia, and Iesua the sonne of Cadmiel, and their brethren in their presence, to geue prayse and thankes, according as Dauid the man of God had ordeyned it, one watch ouer against another
12:25Mathania, Bacbukia, Obadia, Mesullam, Talmon, and Accub, were porters in the watch at the thresholdes of the gates
12:26These were in the dayes of Ioiakim the sonne of Iesua, the sonne of Iosedec, and in the dayes of Nehemia the captayne, & of the priest Esdras the scribe
12:27And in the dedication of the wall at Hierusalem they fought the Leuites out of all their places, that they might be brought to Hierusalem, to kepe the dedication and gladnesse with thankesgeuinges, & singing, with cymbales, psalteries, and harpes
12:28And the children of the singers gathered them selues together from euery side, out of the playne countrey about Hierusalem, and from the villages of Nethophathi
12:29From the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreys of Geba, and Asmaueth: for the singers had buylded them villages round about Hierusalem
12:30And the priestes and Leuites were purified, & clensed the people, & the gates, and the wall
12:31And I brought the princes of Iuda vpon the wall, and appoynted two great quyers of men to geue thankes, whiche went on the right hande of the wall towarde the doung gate
12:32And after them went Hosaia, and halfe of the princes of Iuda
12:33And Asaria, Esdras, and Mesullam
12:34Iuda, Beniamin, Semeia, & Ieremi
12:35And certayne of the priestes children, with trumpettes: namely Zacharie the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Semeia, the sonne of Mathania, the sonne of Michaia, the sonne of Zaccur, the sonne of Asaph
12:36And his brethren, Semeia, Asarael, Melalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathanael, and Iuda, and Hanani, with the musicall instrumentes of Dauid the man of God: And Esdras the scribe went before them
12:37And beside the wel gate, they went vp ouer against them vpon the steppes of the citie of Dauid at the goyng vp of the wall, beyonde the house of Dauid, vnto the water gate eastwarde
12:38The other quyer of them that gaue thankes went ouer against them, and I after them, and the halfe part of the people vpon the wall beyond the fornace gate, vntill the brode wall
12:39And beyonde the port of Ephraim, and beyonde the old gate, beyonde the fishe gate, and the towre of Hananeel, & the towre of Mea, euen vnto the sheepe gate and they stoode still in the prison gate
12:40And so stoode the two quyers of them that gaue thankes in the house of God, and I, & the halfe of the rulers with me
12:41And the priestes, namely Eliakim, Maasia, Miniamin, Michaia, Elionai, Zachari, & Hanania, with trumpettes
12:42And Maasia, Semeia, Eleaser, Uzzi, Ichohanan, Melchiah, Elam, & Ezer: And the singers sange loude, hauing Iesrahiah for their ouerfear
12:43And the same day they offered great sacrifices, and reioyced: for God had geuen them great gladnesse, so that both the wiues & children were ioyfull, & the mirth of Hierusale was hearde farre of
12:44At the same time were the men appoynted ouer the treasure houses, wherin were the heaue offeringes, the firstlinges, and the tythes, that they shoulde gather them out of the fieldes about the cities, to distribute them vnto the priestes and Leuites according to the lawe: for Iuda was glad of the priestes and Leuites that serued
12:45And there stoode and wayted vpon the office of their God, whiche is a pure office, both the singers and porters, after the commaundement of Dauid, and of Solomon his sonne
12:46For in the time of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were the chiefe singers founded & the songes of prayse and thankesgeuing vnto God
12:47In the time of Zorobabel and Nehemia, did all they of Israel geue portions vnto the singers and porters euery day his portion: and they gaue tythes vnto the Leuites, & the Leuites gaue tythes againe vnto the children of Aaron

 

12:1These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
12:2Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
12:3Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
12:4Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
12:5Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
12:6Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
12:7Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
12:8And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
12:9And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
12:10And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
12:11And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
12:12And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
12:13Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
12:14Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
12:15Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
12:16Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,
12:17Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,
12:18Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,
12:19Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
12:20Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
12:21Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
12:22In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
12:23The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
12:24And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
12:25Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
12:26These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
12:27And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
12:28Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
12:29And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
12:30And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
12:31And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
12:32And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
12:33And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
12:34Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
12:35And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
12:36And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
12:37And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
12:38And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
12:39And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
12:40So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
12:41The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
12:42And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
12:43And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
12:44Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
12:45And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
12:46For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
12:47And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.

12:26These were in the dayes of Ioiakim the sonne of Iesua the sonne of Iosedec, and in the dayes of Nehemia the captayne, and of the preaste Esdras the scrybe.
12:27And in the dedycacyon of the wall at Ierusalem, they sought the Leuites out of all theyr places, that they myghte be brought to Ierusalem, to kepe the dedicacion & gladnesse, wyth thankesgeuynges, and singinge wyth Cymbales, Psalteries, and harpes.
12:28And the chyldren of the syngers geathered them selues together from euery syde out of the playne countre aboute Ierusalem, and from the vyllages of Netho phathi,
12:29from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countrees of Geba and Asmaueth: for the syngers had buylded them vyllages rounde aboute Ierusalem.
12:30And the preastes and Leuites were purifyed, and clensed the people, and the gates and the wall.
12:31And I brought the princes of Iuda vp vpon the wall, and appoynted two greate queers of men to geue thankes, whych wente on the ryghte hande of the wall towarde the Donggate,
12:32and after them wente Hosaia, and halfe of the prynces of Iuda,
12:33and Asaria, Esdras, and Mesullam,
12:34Iuda, BenIamin, Semia and Ieremy:
12:35and certayne of the preastes chyldren wyth trompettes, namely Zachary the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Semeia, the sonne of Mathania, the sonne of Michaia, the sonne of Zacur, the sonne of Asaph,
12:36and hys brethren Semeia, Alarael, Melalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathanael & Iuda and Hanani, wyth the musicall instrumentes of Dauid the man of God. And Esdras the Scrybe went before them,
12:37and besyde the wellgate, they wente vp ouer agaynst them vpon the steppes of the cytye of Dauid at the goynge vp of the wall beyonde the house of Dauid, vnto the Watergate Eastwarde.
12:38The other queer of them that gaue thankes, went ouer agaynst them, and I after them, and the halfe parte of the people vpon the wall, beyonde the fornacegate, vntyll the brode wall,
12:39and beyonde the porte of Ephraim, & beyonde the Oldgate, beyonde the fyshgate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Mea, vntyll the Shepegate. And they stode styll in the presongate,
12:40and so stode the two queers (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers wyth me,
12:41and the Preastes, namely Eliakim, Maasia, Miniamin, Michaia, Elioenai, Zachary and Hanania, wyth trompettes,
12:42and Maasia, Semeiah, Eleasar, Ursi, Iehohanan, Melchiah, Elam and Ser. And the syngers sange loude, hauynge Iestahiah for theyr ouerseer.
12:43And the same daye, they offred greate sacrifyces and reioysed: for God had geuen them greate gladnesse, so that both the wyues and chyldren were ioyfull, and the myrth of Ierusalem was herde farre of.
12:44At the same tyme were there men appoynted ouer the treasure houses (wherin were the Heue offerynges, the fyrstlynges & the tythes) that they shulde geather them out of the feldes aboute the cytyes, to destribute them vnto the preastes & Leuites according to the lawe: for Iuda was glad of the preastes, & Leuites, that they stode & wayted
12:45vpon the office of their God, which is a pure office. And the singers & porters stode after the commaundment of Dauid & of Salomon his sonne:
12:46for in the tyme of Dauid & Asaph, were the chefe syngers founded, & the songes of prayse & thankesgeuyng vnto God.
12:47In the tyme of Zorobabel & Nehemia, dyd all they of Israel, geue porcions vnto the syngers and porters, euery daye hys porcion, and they gaue tythes vnto the Leuites: and the Leuites gaue tythes agayne, vnto the children of Aaron.
