| 15:2 | Should a wise man vtter vaine knowledge, and fill his belly with the East winde? |
| 15:3 | Should hee reason with vnprofitable talke? or with speeches wherewith he can doe no good? |
| 15:4 | Yea thou castest off feare, and restrainest prayer before God. |
| 15:5 | For thy mouth vttereth thine iniquitie, and thou choosest the tongue of the craftie. |
| 15:6 | Thine owne mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea thine owne lippes testifie against thee. |
| 15:7 | Art thou the first man that was borne? or wast thou made before the hilles? |
| 15:8 | Hast thou heard the secret of God? and doest thou restraine wisedome to thy selfe? |
| 15:9 | What knowest thou that we know not? what vnderstandest thou, which is not in vs? |
| 15:10 | With vs are both the gray headed, and very aged men, much elder then thy father. |
| 15:11 | Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee? |
| 15:12 | Why doeth thine heart carie thee away? and what doe thine eyes winke at, |
| 15:13 | That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words goe out of thy mouth? |
| 15:14 | What is man, that he should be cleane? and he which is borne of a woman, that he should be righteous? |
| 15:15 | Beholde, he putteth no trust in his Saints, yea, the heauens are not cleane in his sight. |
| 15:16 | How much more abominable and filthie is man, which drinketh iniquitie like water? |
| 15:17 | I will shew thee, heare me, and that which I haue seene, I wil declare, |
| 15:18 | Which wise men haue tolde from their fathers, and haue not hid it: |
| 15:19 | Unto whom alone the earth was giuen, and no stranger passed among them. |
| 15:20 | The wicked man trauaileth with paine all his dayes, and the number of yeeres is hidden to the oppressour. |
| 15:21 | A dreadfull sound is in his eares; in prosperitie the destroyer shall come vpon him. |
| 15:22 | He beleeueth not that he shall returne out of darkenesse, and he is waited for, of the sword. |
| 15:23 | He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkenes is ready at his hand. |
| 15:24 | Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall preuaile against him, as a king ready to the battell. |
| 15:25 | For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himselfe against the Almightie. |
| 15:26 | He runneth vpon him, euen on his necke, vpon the thicke bosses of his bucklers: |
| 15:27 | Because he couereth his face with his fatnesse, and maketh collops of fat on his flankes. |
| 15:28 | And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heapes. |
| 15:29 | He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof vpon the earth. |
| 15:30 | He shall not depart out of darkenesse, the flame shall drie vp his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he goe away. |
| 15:31 | Let not him that is deceiued, trust in vanitie: for vanitie shalbe his recompence. |
| 15:32 | It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not bee greene. |
| 15:33 | He shal shake off his vnripe grape as the Uine, and shall cast off his flowre as the Oliue. |
| 15:34 | For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of briberie. |
| 15:35 | They conceiue mischiefe, and bring forth vanitie, and their belly prepareth deceit. |

| 15:2 | Shal a wise man speake words of ye winde, and fill his bellie with the East winde? |
| 15:3 | Shall he dispute with wordes not comely? or with talke that is not profitable? |
| 15:4 | Surely thou hast cast off feare, and restrainest prayer before God. |
| 15:5 | For thy mouth declareth thine iniquitie, seeing thou hast chosen ye tongue of the crafty. |
| 15:6 | Thine owne mouth condemneth thee, and not I, and thy lippes testifie against thee. |
| 15:7 | Art thou the first man, that was borne? and wast thou made before the hils? |
| 15:8 | Hast thou heard the secret counsell of God, and doest thou restraine wisedome to thee? |
| 15:9 | What knowest thou that we knowe not? and vnderstandest that is not in vs? |
| 15:10 | With vs are both auncient and very aged men, farre older then thy father. |
| 15:11 | Seeme the consolations of God small vnto thee? is this thing strange vnto thee? |
| 15:12 | Why doeth thine heart take thee away, and what doe thine eyes meane, |
| 15:13 | That thou answerest to God at thy pleasure, and bringest such wordes out of thy mouth? |
| 15:14 | What is man, that he should be cleane? and he that is borne of woman, that he shoulde be iust? |
| 15:15 | Beholde, he founde no stedfastnesse in his Saintes: yea, the heauens are not cleane in his sight. |
| 15:16 | How much more is man abominable, and filthie, which drinketh iniquitie like water? |
| 15:17 | I will tell thee: heare me, and I will declare that which I haue seene: |
| 15:18 | Which wise men haue tolde, as they haue heard of their fathers, and haue not kept it secret: |
| 15:19 | To whome alone the land was giuen and no stranger passed through them. |
| 15:20 | The wicked man is continually as one that traueileth of childe, and the nomber of yeeres is hid from the tyrant. |
| 15:21 | A sounde of feare is in his eares, and in his prosperitie the destroyer shall come vpon him. |
| 15:22 | He beleeueth not to returne out of darknesse: for he seeth the sworde before him. |
| 15:23 | He wandreth to and from for bread where he may: he knoweth that the day of darkenesse is prepared at hande. |
| 15:24 | Affliction and anguish shall make him afraide: they shall preuaile against him as a King readie to the battell. |
| 15:25 | For he hath stretched out his hand against GOD, and made him selfe strong against the Almightie. |
| 15:26 | Therefore God shall runne vpon him, euen vpon his necke, and against the most thicke part of his shielde. |
| 15:27 | Because he hath couered his face with his fatnesse, and hath colloppes in his flancke. |
| 15:28 | Though he dwell in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, but are become heapes, |
| 15:29 | He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof in the earth. |
| 15:30 | He shall neuer depart out of darkenesse: the flame shall drie vp his branches, and he shall goe away with the breath of his mouth. |
| 15:31 | He beleeueth not that he erreth in vanitie: therefore vanitie shalbe his change. |
| 15:32 | His branch shall not be greene, but shall be cut off before his day. |
| 15:33 | God shall destroy him as the vine her sower grape, and shall cast him off, as the oliue doeth her flowre. |
| 15:34 | For the congregation of the hypocrite shalbe desolate, and fire shall deuoure the houses of bribes. |
| 15:35 | For they conceiue mischiefe and bring foorth vanitie, and their bellie hath prepared deceite. |

| 15:2 | Shal a wyse mans answer be the scyence of the wynde, and fil any mans Bely as it were with the wynde of the east? |
| 15:3 | Shal he reproue wt a word, that is nothyng worth: and speake the thinges, which can do no good? |
| 15:4 | As for shame, thou hast sett it asyde, elles woldest thou not make so many wordes before God: |
| 15:5 | but thy wyckednesse teacheth thy mouth, and so thou hast chosen the a craftye tonge. |
| 15:6 | Thyne awne mouth condempneth the, and not I: yee, thyne awne lyppes shape an answer agaynst the. |
| 15:7 | Art thou the fyrste man, that euer was borne? Or, wast thou made before the hylles? |
| 15:8 | hast thou hearde the secrete councell of God, that all wysdome is to lytle for the? |
| 15:9 | What knowest thou, that we knowe not? And what vnderstandest thou, but we can the same? |
| 15:10 | With vs are both olde and aged men, yee, soch as haue lyued longer then thy father. |
| 15:11 | Thynckest thou it a small thynge of the consolacyons of God? with the is a lyenge word. |
| 15:12 | Why doth thyne hert so be wytch the? And wherfore wynckest thou wyth thyne eyes, |
| 15:13 | that thy mynde is so puft vp agaynst God, and lettest soch wordes go oute of thy mouth? |
| 15:14 | What is man, that he shulde be cleane? what hath he (which is borne of a woman) wherby he myght be righteous? |
| 15:15 | Behold, he doth not trust hys saynctes: yee, the very heauens are not cleane in hys syght. |
| 15:16 | Howe moch more then an abhomynable and vyle man, which drincketh wickednesse lyke water? |
| 15:17 | I wyll tell the, heare me: and I wyll shewe the that I haue sene: |
| 15:18 | which wyse men haue tolde, and hath not bene hyd from their fathers |
| 15:19 | vnto whom onely the earthe was geuen, and no straunger went amonge them. |
| 15:20 | The vngodly soroweth all the dayes of hys lyfe as it were a woman with a childe, and the nombre of a tyrauntes yeares is vnknowne. |
| 15:21 | A fearfull sounde is euer in hys eares, and when it is peace, yet feareth he destruccyon. |
| 15:22 | He beleueth neuer to be delyuered oute of darckenes, for the swearde is alwaye before hys eyes. |
| 15:23 | When he goeth forth to get his lyuying, he seeth plainely, that the daye of darcknesse is at hande. |
| 15:24 | Sorowe and carefulnesse wyll make hym afrayed, and compasse hym rounde aboute, lyke as it were a kynge with hys hoost ready to the batayll. |
| 15:25 | For he hath stretched out hys hande agaynst God, and armed hym selfe agaynst the almyghtye, |
| 15:26 | He runneth proudly vpon hym, and with a styff necke fyghteth he agaynst hym: |
| 15:27 | where as he couereth hys face with fatnesse, and maketh hys body well lykynge. |
| 15:28 | Therfore shall hys dwellynge be in desolate cyties, and in houses which no man inhabyteth, but are become heapes of stones. |
| 15:29 | He shall not be riche, nether shall hys substaunce contynue, ner encrease vpon earthe. |
| 15:30 | He shall neuer come oute of darcknesse, the flame shall drye vp hys braunches: with the blast of the mouth of God shall he be taken awaye. |
| 15:31 | He beleueth not that he is in vanyte, and yet he is out of the waye, and vanyte shalbe hys recompence. |
| 15:32 | He shall perysh, afore hys tyme be worne out, and hys braunche shall not be grene. |
| 15:33 | He shalbe pluckt of as an vntymely grape from the vyne, & shall lett his floure fall, as the olyue doth. |
| 15:34 | For the congregacyyon of ypocrites shalbe desolate and vnfrutefull, and the fyre shall consume the houses of soch as are gredy to receaue giftes. |
| 15:35 | He conceaueth trauayle, and beareth vanyte, and theyr bodye bryngeth forth disceate. |
