26:1But Iob answered and sayd,
26:2Howe hast thou helped him that is without power? how sauest thou the arme that hath no strength?
26:3How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisedome? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing, as it is?
26:4To whom hast thou vttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
26:5Dead things are formed from vnder the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
26:6Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no couering.
26:7He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.
26:8Hee bindeth vp the waters in his thicke clouds, and the cloud is not rent vnder them.
26:9Hee holdeth backe the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud vpon it.
26:10Hee hath compassed the waters with bounds, vntill the day and night come to an end.
26:11The pillars of heauen tremble, and are astonished at his reproofe.
26:12Hee diuideth the sea with his power, and by his vnderstanding he smiteth through the proud.
26:13By his spirit he hath garnished the heauens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
26:14Loe, these are parts of his waies, but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can vnderstand?

 

26:1Iob aunswered, and sayde
26:2Who hast thou helped? Him that is without strength? sauest thou the arme that hath no strength
26:3Where is the counsayle that thou shouldest geue him which hath no wisdome? Hast thou shewed the way of right lyuing
26:4To whom hast thou spoken these wordes? who made the breath to come out of thy mouth
26:5Are not dead thinges shapen vnder the waters, and thinges by the waters side
26:6He is naked before him, and the very destruction it selfe can not be hyd out of his sight
26:7He stretcheth out the noorth ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing
26:8He byndeth the water in his cloudes, & the cloude is not broken vnder them
26:9He holdeth backe the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloude before it
26:10He hath compassed the waters with certayne boundes, vntill the day and night come to an ende
26:11The very pillers of heauen tremble and quake at his reproofe
26:12He stilleth the sea with his power, and through his wysdome smyteth he the strength therof
26:13His spirite hath garnished the heauens, & his hand hath made the crooked serpent
26:14Lo, this is now a short summe of his wayes: but howe litle a portion heare we of hym? who can vnderstande the thunder of his power

 

26:1Bvt Iob answered, and sayde,
26:2Whom helpest thou? him that hath no power? sauest thou the arme that hath no strength?
26:3Whome counsellest thou? him that hath no wisedome? thou shewest right well as the thing is.
26:4To whom doest thou declare these words? or whose spirit commeth out of thee?
26:5The dead things are formed vnder the waters, and neere vnto them.
26:6The graue is naked before him, and there is no couering for destruction.
26:7He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.
26:8He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.
26:9He holdeth backe the face of his throne: and spreadeth his cloude vpon it.
26:10He hath set bounds about the waters, vntil the day and night come to an ende.
26:11The pillars of heauen tremble and quake at his reproofe.
26:12The sea is calme by his power, and by his vnderstanding he smiteth the pride thereof.
26:13His Spirite hath garnished the heauens, and his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
26:14Loe, these are part of his wayes: but how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his fearefull power?
