Job - Chapter: 27

>
27:1Moreouer Iob continued his parable, and sayd,
27:2As God liueth, who hath taken away my iudgment, and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soule;
27:3All the while my breath is in mee, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
27:4My lips shall not speake wickednesse, nor my tongue vtter deceit.
27:5God forbid that I should iustifie you: till I die, I will not remoue my integritie from me.
27:6My righteousnesse I hold fast, and will not let it goe: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I liue.
27:7Let mine enemie be as the wicked, and he that riseth vp against me, as the vnrighteous.
27:8For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soule?
27:9Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him?
27:10Will he delight himselfe in the Almightie? will hee alwayes call vpon God?
27:11I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almightie, will I not conceale.
27:12Behold, all ye your selues haue seene it, why then are yee thus altogether vaine?
27:13This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressours which they shall receiue of the Almightie.
27:14If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offpring shall not be satisfied with bread.
27:15Those that remaine of him shall bee buried in death: and his widowes shall not weepe.
27:16Though he heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay:
27:17He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall diuide the siluer.
27:18He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.
27:19The rich man shall lie downe, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not:
27:20Terrours take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
27:21The East winde carieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storme hurleth him out of his place.
27:22For God shall cast vpon him, and not spare: hee would faine flee out of his hand.
27:23Men shall clap their handes at him, and shall hisse him out of his place.

27:1And Iob proceeded and went foorth in his parable, saying
27:2As God lyueth whiche hath taken away my iudgement, and the almightie that hath vexed my minde
27:3Whyle my breath is in me, and the winde that God hath geuen me is in my nostrels
27:4My lippes shall talke of no vanitie, and my tongue shall speake no disceite
27:5God forbyd that I should graunt your cause to be right: As for me, vntill myne end come will I neuer go fro myne innocentie
27:6My righteous dealing kepe I fast, which I will not forsake: my heart shal not reproue me of my dayes
27:7Therfore myne enemie shalbe founde as the vngodly, and he that taketh part against me, as the vnrighteous
27:8For what hope hath the hypocrite though he haue great good, if God take away his soule
27:9Will God heare his crye, when trouble commeth vpon him
27:10Hath he such pleasure and delite in the almightie, that he dare alway call vpon God
27:11I wil teache you in the name of God, and the thing of the almightie will I not kepe from you
27:12Behold, all ye your selues haue seene it, why then do ye thus vanishe in vanitie
27:13Saying: This is the portion that the wicked haue of God, and the heritage that tyrauntes shall receaue of the almightie
27:14If he get many children, they shall perishe with the sworde, and his posteritie shall haue scarcenesse of bread
27:15His remnaunt shalbe buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe
27:16Though he heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay
27:17He may well prepare it, but the godly shall put it on, and the innocent shall deale out the money
27:18He buyldeth his house as the moth, & as a booth that the watchman maketh
27:19When the riche man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers, they opened their eyes, and he was gone
27:20Terrour taketh holde vpon hym as a water fludde, and the tempest stealeth him away in the night season
27:21A vehement east winde caryeth him hence, and he departeth: a storme hurleth him out of his place
27:22God shal cast vpon him, and not spare, though he woulde fayne flee out of his hande
27:23Then clap men their handes at hym, and hisse at him out of his place

27:1Moreouer Iob proceeded and continued his parable, saying,
27:2The liuing God hath taken away my iudgement: for the Almightie hath put my soule in bitternesse.
27:3Yet so long as my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God in my nostrels,
27:4My lips surely shall speake no wickednesse, and my tongue shall vtter no deceite.
27:5God forbid, that I should iustifie you: vntill I dye, I will neuer take away mine innocencie from my selfe.
27:6I will keepe my righteousnesse, and wil not forsake it: mine heart shall not reprooue me of my dayes.
27:7Mine enemie shall be as the wicked, and he that riseth against me, as the vnrighteous.
27:8For what hope hath the hypocrite when he hath heaped vp riches, if God take away his soule?
27:9Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him?
27:10Will he set his delight on the Almightie? will he call vpon God at all times?
27:11I will teache you what is in the hande of God, and I wil not conceale that which is with the Almightie.
27:12Beholde, all ye your selues haue seene it: why then doe you thus vanish in vanitie?
27:13This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shall receiue of the Almightie.
27:14If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread.
27:15His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe.
27:16Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay,
27:17He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer.
27:18He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a lodge that the watchman maketh.
27:19When the rich man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone.
27:20Terrours shall take him as waters, and a tempest shall cary him away by night.
27:21The East winde shall take him away, and he shall depart: and it shall hurle him out of his place.
27:22And God shall cast vpon him and not spare, though he would faine flee out of his hand.
27:23Euery man shall clap their hands at him, and hisse at him out of their place.
