Job - Chapter: 28

>
28:1Surely there is a veine for the siluer, and a place for golde where they fine it.
28:2Iron is taken out of the earth, and brasse is molten out of the stone.
28:3Hee setteth an ende to darkenesse, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkenesse and the shadow of death.
28:4The floud breaketh out from the inhabitant; euen the waters forgotten of the foote: they are dried vp, they are gone away from men.
28:5As for the earth, out of it commeth bread: and vnder it, is turned vp as it were fire.
28:6The stones of it are the place of Saphires: and it hath dust of golde.
28:7There is a path which no foule knoweth, and which the vulturs eye hath not seene.
28:8The lyons whelps haue not troden it, nor the fierce lyon passed by it.
28:9Hee putteth foorth his hand vpon the rocke; hee ouerturneth the mountaines by the rootes.
28:10Hee cutteth out riuers among the rockes, and his eye seeth euery precious thing.
28:11He bindeth the flouds from ouerflowing, and the thing that is hid, bringeth he foorth to light.
28:12But where shall wisedome bee found? And where is the place of vnderstanding?
28:13Man knoweth not the price thereof neither is it found in the land of the liuing.
28:14The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
28:15It cannot be gotten for golde, neither shall siluer be weighed for the price thereof.
28:16It cannot be valued with the golde of Ophir, with the precious Onix, or the Saphire.
28:17The golde and the chrystall cannot equall it: and the exchange of it shall not be for iewels of fine golde.
28:18No mention shalbe made of Corall, or of Pearles: for the price of wisedome is aboue Rubies.
28:19The Topaze of Ethiopia shall not equall it, neither shall it be valued with pure golde.
28:20Whence then commeth wisedome? and where is the place of vnderstanding?
28:21Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all liuing, and kept close from the foules of the ayre.
28:22Destruction and death say, Wee haue heard the fame thereof with our eares.
28:23God vnderstandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
28:24For hee looketh to the endes of the earth, and seeth vnder the whole heauen:
28:25To make the weight for the windes, and he weigheth the waters by measure.
28:26When hee made a decree for the raine, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
28:27Then did he see it, and declare it, he prepared it, yea and searched it out.
28:28And vnto man he said, Behold, the feare of the Lord, that is wisedome, and to depart from euill, is vnderstanding.

28:1There is a place wher siluer is brought out of, and where golde is tryed
28:2Where yron is digged out of the grounde, & stones resolued to metall
28:3The darkenesse shall once come to an ende: he can seke out the grounde of all thinges, the stones, the darke, and the shadowe of death
28:4He causeth the fluddes to breake out against the inhabitant, and the waters forgotten of the foote, beyng hygher then man, are gone away
28:5Out of the same earth commeth bread, and vnder it as it were fire is turned vp
28:6The stones of it are a place of Saphires, and the dust of it is golde
28:7There is a way that the birdes knowe not, that no vultures eye hath seene
28:8Wherin the lions whelpes walke not, and where no lion commeth
28:9There putteth he his hande vpon the stonie rockes, and ouerthroweth the mountaynes by the rootes
28:10Riuers flowe out of the rockes, & loke what is pleasaunt, his eye seeth it
28:11He bindeth the fluddes that they do not ouerflow: and the thing that is hid bringeth he to light
28:12Where then is wysdome founde? and where is the place of vnderstanding
28:13Ueryly no man can tell howe worthy a thing she is, neither is she found in the lande of them that lyue
28:14The deepe sayth, She is not in me: the sea sayth, She is not with me
28:15She can not be gotten for golde, neither may the price of her be bought with any siluer
28:16No wedges of gold of Ophir, no precious Onix stones, no Saphires may be valued with her
28:17No, neither golde nor christall shall be equall vnto it, nor her exchaunge shalbe for the plate of fine golde
28:18No mention shalbe made of Corall nor of the Gabis: for wisdome is more precious then pearles
28:19The Topas of Ethiopia shall not be equall vnto it, neither shall it be valued with the wedge of pure golde
28:20Whence then commeth wysdome? and where is the place of vnderstanding
28:21She is hid from the eyes of all men liuing, yea & from the foules of the ayre
28:22Destruction and death say, We haue hearde the fame therof with our eares
28:23But God seeth her way, and knoweth her place
28:24For he beholdeth the endes of the worlde, and loketh vpon all that is vnder heauen
28:25When he wayed the windes and measured the waters
28:26When he made a decree for the rayne, and a way for the lightninges of the thunder
28:27Then dyd he see her, then declared he her, prepared her, and knewe her
28:28And vnto man he sayd: To feare the Lorde is wysdome, and to forsake euyll is vnderstanding

28:1The siluer surely hath his veyne, and ye gold his place, where they take it.
28:2Yron is taken out of the dust, and brasse is molten out of the stone.
28:3God putteth an end to darkenesse, and he tryeth the perfection of all things: he setteth a bond of darkenesse, and of the shadowe of death.
28:4The flood breaketh out against the inhabitant, and the waters forgotten of the foote, being higher then man, are gone away.
28:5Out of the same earth commeth bread, and vnder it, as it were fire is turned vp.
28:6The stones thereof are a place of saphirs, and the dust of it is golde.
28:7There is a path which no foule hath knowen, neyther hath the kites eye seene it.
28:8The lyons whelpes haue not walked it, nor the lyon passed thereby.
28:9He putteth his hand vpon the rockes, and ouerthroweth the mountaines by the rootes.
28:10He breaketh riuers in the rockes, and his eye seeth euery precious thing.
28:11He bindeth the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe, and the thing that is hid, bringeth he to light.
28:12But where is wisdome found? and where is the place of vnderstanding?
28:13Man knoweth not the price thereof: for it is not found in the land of the liuing.
28:14The depth sayth, It is not in mee: the sea also sayth, It is not with me.
28:15Golde shall not be giuen for it, neyther shall siluer be weighed for the price thereof.
28:16It shall not be valued with the wedge of golde of Ophir, nor with the precious onix, nor the saphir.
28:17The golde nor the chrystall shall be equall vnto it, nor the exchange shalbe for plate of fine golde.
28:18No mention shall be made of coral, nor of the gabish: for wisedome is more precious then pearles.
28:19The Topaz of Ethiopia shall not be equall vnto it, neither shall it be valued with the wedge of pure gold.
28:20Whence then commeth wisedome? and where is the place of vnderstanding,
28:21Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all the liuing, and is hid from the foules of the heauen?
28:22Destruction and death say, We haue heard the fame thereof with our eares.
28:23But God vnderstandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
28:24For he beholdeth the endes of the world, and seeth all that is vnder heauen,
28:25To make the weight of the windes, and to weigh the waters by measure.
28:26When he made a decree for the rayne, and a way for the lightening of the thunders,
28:27Then did he see it, and counted it: he prepared it and also considered it.
28:28And vnto man he said, Behold, the feare of the Lord is wisedome, and to depart from euil is vnderstanding.
