1:1	Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
1:2	But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
1:3	And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
1:4	The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
1:5	Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:6	For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.


1:1	אשׁרי האישׁ אשׁר לא הלך בעצת רשׁעים ובדרך חטאים לא עמד ובמושׁב לצים לא ישׁב׃
1:2	כי אם בתורת יהוה חפצו ובתורתו יהגה יומם ולילה׃
1:3	והיה כעץ שׁתול על פלגי מים אשׁר פריו יתן בעתו ועלהו לא יבול וכל אשׁר יעשׂה יצליח׃
1:4	לא כן הרשׁעים כי אם כמץ אשׁר תדפנו רוח׃
1:5	על כן לא יקמו רשׁעים במשׁפט וחטאים בעדת צדיקים׃
1:6	כי יודע יהוה דרך צדיקים ודרך רשׁעים תאבד׃


1:1	O the happiness of that one, who Hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked. And in the way of sinners hath not stood, And in the seat of scorners hath not sat;
1:2	But -- in the law of Jehovah `is' his delight, And in His law he doth meditate by day and by night:
1:3	And he hath been as a tree, Planted by rivulets of water, That giveth its fruit in its season, And its leaf doth not wither, And all that he doth he causeth to prosper.
1:4	Not so the wicked: But -- as chaff that wind driveth away!
1:5	Therefore the wicked rise not in judgment, Nor sinners in the company of the righteous,
1:6	For Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, And the way of the wicked is lost!
