5:1	Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
5:2	Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
5:3	My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
5:4	For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5:5	The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
5:6	Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
5:7	But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
5:8	Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
5:9	For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
5:10	Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
5:11	But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
5:12	For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.


5:1	למנצח אל הנחילות מזמור לדוד׃ (5:2) אמרי האזינה יהוה בינה הגיגי׃
5:2	(5:3) הקשׁיבה לקול שׁועי מלכי ואלהי כי אליך אתפלל׃
5:3	(5:4) יהוה בקר תשׁמע קולי בקר אערך לך ואצפה׃
5:4	(5:5) כי לא אל חפץ רשׁע אתה לא יגרך רע׃
5:5	(5:6) לא יתיצבו הוללים לנגד עיניך שׂנאת כל פעלי און׃
5:6	(5:7) תאבד דברי כזב אישׁ דמים ומרמה יתעב יהוה׃
5:7	(5:8) ואני ברב חסדך אבוא ביתך אשׁתחוה אל היכל קדשׁך ביראתך׃
5:8	(5:9) יהוה נחני בצדקתך למען שׁוררי הושׁר לפני דרכך׃
5:9	(5:10) כי אין בפיהו נכונה קרבם הוות קבר פתוח גרונם לשׁונם יחליקון׃
5:10	(5:11) האשׁימם אלהים יפלו ממעצותיהם ברב פשׁעיהם הדיחמו כי מרו׃
5:11	(5:12) וישׂמחו כל חוסי בך לעולם ירננו ותסך עלימו ויעלצו בך אהבי שׁמך׃
5:12	(5:13) כי אתה תברך צדיק יהוה כצנה רצון תעטרנו׃


5:1	To the Overseer, `Concerning the Inheritances.' -- A Psalm of David. My sayings hear, O Jehovah, Consider my meditation.
5:2	Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My king and my God, For unto Thee I pray habitually.
5:3	Jehovah, `at' morning Thou hearest my voice, `At' morning I set in array for Thee, And I look out.
5:4	For not a God desiring wickedness `art' Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not.
5:5	The boastful station not themselves before Thine eyes: Thou hast hated all working iniquity.
5:6	Thou destroyest those speaking lies, A man of blood and deceit Jehovah doth abominate.
5:7	And I, in the abundance of Thy kindness, I enter Thy house, I bow myself toward Thy holy temple in Thy fear.
5:8	O Jehovah, lead me in Thy righteousness, Because of those observing me, Make straight before me Thy way,
5:9	For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart `is' mischiefs, An open grave `is' their throat, Their tongue they make smooth.
5:10	Declare them guilty, O God, Let them fall from their own counsels, In the abundance of their transgressions Drive them away, Because they have rebelled against Thee.
5:11	And rejoice do all trusting in Thee, To the age they sing, and Thou coverest them over, And those loving Thy name exult in Thee.
5:12	For Thou blessest the righteous, O Jehovah, As a buckler with favour dost compass him!
