6:1	O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
6:2	Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
6:3	My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
6:4	Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.
6:5	For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
6:6	I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
6:7	Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
6:8	Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
6:9	The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
6:10	Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.


6:1	למנצח בנגינות על השׁמינית מזמור לדוד׃ (6:2) יהוה אל באפך תוכיחני ואל בחמתך תיסרני׃
6:2	(6:3) חנני יהוה כי אמלל אני רפאני יהוה כי נבהלו עצמי׃
6:3	(6:4) ונפשׁי נבהלה מאד ואת יהוה עד מתי׃
6:4	(6:5) שׁובה יהוה חלצה נפשׁי הושׁיעני למען חסדך׃
6:5	(6:6) כי אין במות זכרך בשׁאול מי יודה׃
6:6	(6:7) יגעתי באנחתי אשׂחה בכל לילה מטתי בדמעתי ערשׂי אמסה׃
6:7	(6:8) עשׁשׁה מכעס עיני עתקה בכל צוררי׃
6:8	(6:9) סורו ממני כל פעלי און כי שׁמע יהוה קול בכיי׃
6:9	(6:10) שׁמע יהוה תחנתי יהוה תפלתי יקח׃
6:10	(6:11) יבשׁו ויבהלו מאד כל איבי ישׁבו יבשׁו רגע׃


6:1	To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. -- A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.
6:2	Favour me, O Jehovah, for I `am' weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones,
6:3	And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when?
6:4	Turn back, O Jehovah, draw out my soul, Save me for Thy kindness' sake.
6:5	For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee?
6:6	I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night `on' my bed, With my tear my couch I waste.
6:7	Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries,
6:8	Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping,
6:9	Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth.
6:10	Ashamed and troubled greatly are all mine enemies, They turn back -- ashamed `in' a moment!
