Psalms - Chapter: 9

>
9:1[To the chiefe musician vpon MuthLabben. A Psalme of Dauid.] I wil praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will shewe foorth all thy maruellous workes.
9:2I will bee glad and reioyce in thee: I will sing prayse to thy name, O thou most High.
9:3When mine enemies are turned backe, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
9:4For thou hast maintained my right, and my cause: thou satest in the throne iudging right.
9:5Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for euer and euer.
9:6O thou enemie, destructions are come to a perpetuall end; and thou hast destroyed cities, their memoriall is perished with them.
9:7But the Lord shall endure for euer: he hath prepared his throne for iudgement.
9:8And hee shall iudge the world in righteousnesse; he shall minister iudgement to the people in vprightnesse.
9:9The Lord also will bee a refuge for the oppressed: a refuge, in times of trouble.
9:10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou Lord hast not forsaken them that seeke thee.
9:11Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Sion: declare among the people his doings.
9:12When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembreth them: he forgetteth not the crie of the humble.
9:13Haue mercie vpon me O Lord, consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest mee vp from the gates of death:
9:14That I may shew foorth all thy prayse in the gates of the daughter of Sion: I will reioyce in thy saluation.
9:15The heathen are sunke downe in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid, is their own foot taken.
9:16The Lord is knowen by the iudgement which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the worke of his owne hands. Higgaion. Selah.
9:17The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
9:18For the needie shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poore shall not perish for euer.
9:19Arise, O Lord, let not man preuaile: let the heathen bee iudged in thy sight.
9:20Put them in feare, O Lord: that the nations may know themselues to be but men. Selah.

9:5Thou hast rebuked the Heathen, and destroyed the vngodly: thou hast abolished their name for euer and euer
9:6O thou enemie thou thoughtest to bryng vs to a perpetuall desolation: and to destroy our cities, so that there shoulde remayne no memory of them
9:7But God wyll sit for euer: he hath prepared his throne for iudgement
9:8For he wyll iudge the world in iustice: and minister iudgement vnto the people in righteousnesse
9:9God also wyll be a refuge for the oppressed: euen a refuge in tyme of trouble
9:10And they that knowe thy name wyll put their trust in thee: for thou O God hast neuer fayled them that seeke thee
9:11Sing psalmes vnto God abiding at Sion: declare his notable actes among the people
9:12For he maketh inquisition of blood: he remembreth it, and forgetteth not the complaynt of the poore
9:13Haue mercy on me O God: consider the trouble whiche I suffer of them that hate me, lift me vp from the gates of death
9:14That I may shewe all thy prayses within the gates of the daughter of Sion: and reioyce in thy saluation
9:15The Heathen are sunke downe into the pit that they made: their owne foote is snared in the same net whiche they had layde priuily [for other.
9:16God is knowen by the iudgement that he hath executed: the vngodly is trapped in ye worke of his owne handes, this ought to be considered alwayes. Selah
9:17The wicked shalbe turned vnto hell: and all people that forget God
9:18But the poore shall not alway be forgotten: neither shall the hope of the humble afflicted, perishe for euer
9:19Aryse vp O God, let not man preuaile: let the Heathen in thy sight be iudged
9:20Put them in feare O God: that the Heathen may knowe them selues to be but men. Selah

9:5Thou hast rebuked the heathen: thou hast destroyed the wicked: thou hast put out their name for euer and euer.
9:6O enemie, destructions are come to a perpetual end, and thou hast destroyed the cities: their memoriall is perished with them.
9:7But the Lord shall sit for euer: hee hath prepared his throne for iudgement.
9:8For he shall iudge the worlde in righteousnes, and shall iudge the people with equitie.
9:9The Lord also wil be a refuge for the poore, a refuge in due time, euen in affliction.
9:10And they that know thy Name, will trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not failed them that seeke thee.
9:11Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: shewe the people his workes.
9:12For whe he maketh inquisition for blood, hee remembreth it, and forgetteth not the complaint of the poore.
9:13Haue mercie vpon mee, O Lord: consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate mee, thou that liftest me vp from the gates of death,
9:14That I may shewe all thy praises within the gates of the daughter of Zion, and reioyce in thy saluation.
9:15The heathen are sunken downe in the pit that they made: in the nette that they hid, is their foote taken.
9:16The Lord is knowen by executing iudgement: the wicked is snared in the worke of his owne handes. Higgaion. Selah.
