Psalms - Chapter: 33

>
33:1Reioyce in the Lord, O yee righteous: for prayse is comely for the vpright.
33:2Praise the Lord with harp: sing vnto him with the Psalterie, and an instrument of ten strings.
33:3Sing vnto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
33:4For the word of the Lord is right: and all his workes are done in trueth.
33:5Hee loueth righteousnesse and iudgement: the earth is ful of the goodnesse of the Lord.
33:6By the word of the Lord were the heauens made: and all the host of them, by the breath of his mouth.
33:7He gathereth the waters of the sea together, as an heape: he layeth vp the depth in storehouses.
33:8Let all the earth feare the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
33:9For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood fast.
33:10The Lord bringeth the counsell of the heathen to nought: he maketh the deuices of the people, of none effect.
33:11The counsaile of the Lord standeth for euer, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
33:12Blessed is the nation, whose God is the Lord: and the people, whom he hath chosen for his owne inheritance.
33:13The Lord looketh from heauen: he beholdeth all the sonnes of men.
33:14From the place of his habitation, he looketh vpon all the inhabitants of the earth.
33:15He fashioneth their hearts alike: he considereth all their workes.
33:16There is no king saued by the multitude of an hoste: a mightie man is not deliuered by much strength.
33:17An horse is a vaine thing for safetie: neither shall he deliuer any by his great strength.
33:18Behold, the eye of the Lord is vpon them that feare him: vpon them that hope in his mercy:
33:19To deliuer their soule from death, and to keepe them aliue in famine.
33:20Our soule waiteth for the Lord: he is our helpe, and our shield.
33:21For our heart shall reioyce in him: because we haue trusted in his holy name.
33:22Let thy mercy (O Lord) be vpon vs: according as we hope in thee.

33:3Sing vnto him a newe song: sing cheerefully with a loude voyce.
33:4For the word of the Lord is righteous, and all his workes are faithfull.
33:5He loueth righteousnesse and iudgement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lord.
33:6By the worde of the Lord were the heauens made, and all the hoste of them by the breath of his mouth.
33:7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as vpon an heape, and layeth vp the depths in his treasures.
33:8Let all the earth feare the Lord: let al them that dwell in the world, feare him.
33:9For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood.
33:10The Lord breaketh the counsell of the heathen, and bringeth to nought the deuices of the people.
33:11The counsell of the Lord shall stand for euer, and the thoughts of his heart throughout all ages.
33:12Blessed is that nation, whose God is the Lord: euen the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance.
33:13The Lord looketh downe from heauen, and beholdeth all the children of men.
33:14From the habitation of his dwelling he beholdeth all them that dwell in the earth.
33:15He facioneth their hearts euery one, and vnderstandeth all their workes.
33:16The King is not saued by the multitude of an hoste, neither is the mightie man deliuered by great strength.
33:17A horse is a vaine helpe, and shall not deliuer any by his great strength.
33:18Beholde, the eye of the Lord is vpon them that feare him, and vpon them, that trust in his mercie,
33:19To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.
33:20Our soule waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helpe and our shielde.
33:21Surely our heart shall reioyce in him, because we trusted in his holy Name.
33:22Let thy mercie, O Lord, be vpon vs, as we trust in thee.

 

33:1Reioyse in the Lord, O ye ryghteous, for it becommeth well the iust to be thankfull.
33:2Prayse the Lord with harpe: synge psalmes vnto hym with the lute and instrument of ten strynges.
33:3Synge vnto the Lorde a newe songe, synge prayses lustely with a good corage.
33:4For the worde of the Lorde is true, and all hys worckes are faythfull.
33:5He loueth ryghteousnes and iugement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lorde.
33:6By the worde of the Lorde were the heauens made, and all the Hoostes of them by the breth of his mouth.
33:7He gathereth the waters of the see together as it were vpon a heape, & layeth vp the depe as in a tresure house.
33:8Let all the earth feare the Lorde: stande in awe of hym, all ye that dwell in the worlde.
33:9For he spake, and it was done: he commaunded, and it stode fast.
33:10The Lorde bryngeth the councell of the Heithen to naught, and maketh the deuyces of the people, to be of none effecte.
33:11The councell of the Lorde shall endure for euer, and the thoughtes of hys herte from generacyon to generacyon.
33:12Blessed are the people whose God is the Lorde Iehouah, & blessed are the folcke that haue chosen hym to be theyr inheritaunce.
33:13The Lorde loked downe from heauen, and behelde all the chyldren of men:
33:14from the habitacyon of his dwellynge, he consydreth all them that dwell in the erth.
33:15He fashyoneth all the hertes of them, and vnderstandeth all theyr worckes.
33:16There is no kynge that can be saued by the multytude of an hoost, nether is any myghtie man delyuered by moche strength.
33:17A horse is counted but a vayne thynge to saue a man, neyther shall he delyuer any man by hys greate strength.
33:18Behold the eye of the Lorde is vpon them that feare hym, and vpon them that put theyr trust in his mercy.
33:19To delyuer theyr soules from death, and to fede them in the tyme of dearth.
33:20Oure soule hath paciently taryed for the Lorde for he is oure helpe and oure shylde.
33:21For oure herte shall reioyse in hym, because we haue hoped in hys holy name.
33:22Let thy mercyfull kyndnesse, O Lorde be vpon vs, lyke as we haue put oure trust in the.
