Psalms - Chapter: 34

>
34:1[A Psalme of Dauid, when he changed his behauiour before Abimelech: who droue him away & he departed.] I will blesse the Lord at all times: his prayse shall continually bee in my mouth.
34:2My soule shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall heare thereof, and be glad.
34:3O magnifie the Lord with me, and let vs exalt his name together.
34:4I sought the Lord, and hee heard me; and deliuered mee from all my feares.
34:5They looked vnto him, and were lightned: and their faces were not ashamed.
34:6This poore man cried, and the Lord heard him; and saued him out of all his troubles.
34:7The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that feare him, and deliuereth them.
34:8O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
34:9O feare the Lord yee his Saints: for there is no want to them that feare him.
34:10The young lyons doe lacke, and suffer hunger: but they that seeke the Lord, shall not want any good thing.
34:11Come yee children, hearken vnto me: I will teach you the feare of the Lord.
34:12What man is hee that desireth life; and loueth many dayes, that he may see good?
34:13Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lippes from speaking guile.
34:14Depart from euill, and doe good: seeke peace and pursue it.
34:15The eies of the Lord are vpon the righteous; and his eares are open vnto their crie.
34:16The face of the Lord is against them that doe euill; to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
34:17The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth; and deliuereth them out of all their troubles.
34:18The Lord is nigh vnto them that are of a broken heart: and saueth such as be of a contrite spirit.
34:19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.
34:20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
34:21Euill shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shalbe desolate.
34:22The Lord redeemech the soule of his seruants: and none of them that trust in him, shalbe desolate.

34:2My soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad.
34:3Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.
34:4I sought the Lord, and he heard me: yea, he deliuered me out of all my feare.
34:5They shall looke vnto him, and runne to him: and their faces shall not be ashamed, saying,
34:6This poore man cryed, and the Lord heard him, and saued him out of all his troubles.
34:7The Angel of the Lord pitcheth round about them, that feare him, and deliuereth them.
34:8Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
34:9Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him.
34:10The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good.
34:11Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
34:12What man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good?
34:13Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile.
34:14Eschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it.
34:15The eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie.
34:16But the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth.
34:17The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles.
34:18The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite.
34:19Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.
34:20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
34:21But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish.
34:22The Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.

34:2My soule shall make her boast in the Lord the humble shall heare therof, and be glad.
34:3O prayse the Lorde with me, and let vs magnifye hys name together.
34:4I sought the Lorde & he hearde me, yee he deliuered me out of all my feare.
34:5They had an eye vnto him, and were lyghtened, & their faces were not ashamed.
34:6Lo, the poore cryeth, & the Lorde heareth hym, yee and saueth hym out of all hys troubles.
34:7The Angell of the Lorde taryethe rounde about them that feare hym, and delyuereth them.
34:8O taste and se, howe gracious the Lord is, blessed is the man that trusteth in hym.
34:9O feare the Lorde, ye that be hys sayntes for they that feare hym, lacke nothynge.
34:10The lyons do lacke, & suffre hunger but they which seke the Lorde: shall want no maner of thynge that is good.
34:11Come ye chyldren & herken vnto me, I wyll teach you the feare of the Lorde.
34:12What man is he that lysteth to lyue, & wold fayne se good dayes?
34:13Kepe thy tonge from euell, & thy lyppes, that they speake no gile.
34:14Eschue euell, & do good. seke peace and ensue it.
34:15The eyes of the Lorde are ouer the ryghteous, & his eares are open vnto their prayers.
34:16The countenaunce of the Lorde is agaynst them that do euell, to rote out the remembraunce of them from of the earth.
34:17The ryghteous crye, & the Lorde heareth them, & delyuereth them out of all theyr troubles.
34:18The Lorde is nye vnto them that are of a contryte hert, & wyll saue soche as be of an humble sprete.
34:19Greate are the troubles of the ryghteous but the Lorde delyuereth hym out of all.
34:20He kepeth all hys bones, so that not one of them is broken.
34:21But mysfortune shall slaye the vngodly, and they that hate the ryghteous, shalbe desolate.
34:22The Lorde delyuereth the soules of hys seruauntes: and all they that put theyr trust in hym shall not be destitute.
