Psalms - Chapter: 70

70:1The seuentithe salm hath no title. Lord, Y hopide in thee, be Y not schent with outen ende;
70:2in thi riytwisnesse delyuere thou me, and rauysche me out. Bowe doun thin eere to me; and make me saaf.
70:3Be thou to me in to God a defendere; and in to a strengthid place, that thou make me saaf. For thou art my stidefastnesse; and my refuit.
70:4My God, delyuere thou me fro the hoond of the synner; and fro the hoond of a man doynge ayens the lawe, and of the wickid man.
70:5For thou, Lord, art my pacience; Lord, thou art myn hope fro my yongthe.

 

70:1To him excelleth. A Psalme of David to put in remembrance. O God, haste thee to deliuer mee: make haste to helpe me, O Lord.
70:2Let them be confounded and put to shame, that seeke my soule: let them bee turned backewarde and put to rebuke, that desire mine hurt.
70:3Let them be turned backe for a rewarde of their shame, which said, Aha, aha.
70:4But let all those that seeke thee, be ioyfull and glad in thee, and let all that loue thy saluation, say alwaies, God be praised.
70:5Nowe I am poore and needie: O God, make haste to me: thou art mine helper, and my deliuerer: O Lord, make no tarying.
