80:1	[To the chiefe Musician vpon Shoshannim Eduth, A Psalme of Asaph.] Giue eare, shepheard of Israel, thou that leadest Ioseph like a flocke, thou that dwellest betweene the Cherubims, shine forth.
80:2	Before Ephraim and Beniamin, and Manasseh, stirre vp thy strength: and come and saue vs.
80:3	Turne vs againe, O God: and cause thy face to shine, and we shall bee saued.
80:4	O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou bee angry against the prayer of thy people?
80:5	Thou feedest them with the bread of teares: and giuest them teares to drinke in great measure.
80:6	Thou makest vs a strife vnto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselues.
80:7	Turne vs againe, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saued.
80:8	Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
80:9	Thou preparedst roome before it: and didst cause it to take deepe root, and it filled the land.
80:10	The hilles were couered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
80:11	She sent out her boughs vnto the Sea: and her branches vnto the riuer.
80:12	Why hast thou then broken downe her hedges: so that all they which passe by the way, doe plucke her?
80:13	The boare out of the wood doth waste it: and the wild beast of the field doth deuoure it.
80:14	Returne, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: looke downe from heauen, and behold, and visit this vine:
80:15	And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted: and the branch that thou madest strong for thy selfe.
80:16	It is burnt with fire, it is cut downe: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
80:17	Let thy hand be vpon the man of thy right hand: vpon the sonne of man, whom thou madest strong for thy selfe.
80:18	So will not wee goe backe from thee: quicken vs, and we will call vpon thy Name.
80:19	Turne vs againe, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine, and wee shall be saued.

80:4	O Lord God of hostes, how long wilt thou be angrie against the prayer of thy people?

80:10	The mountaines were couered with the shadowe of it, and the boughes thereof were like the goodly cedars.
80:11	Shee stretched out her branches vnto the Sea, and her boughes vnto the Riuer.
80:12	Why hast thou then broken downe her hedges, so that all they, which passe by the way, haue plucked her?
80:13	The wilde bore out of the wood hath destroyed it, and the wilde beastes of the fielde haue eaten it vp.
80:14	Returne we beseech thee, O God of hostes: looke downe from heauen and beholde and visite this vine,
80:15	And the vineyard, that thy right hand hath planted, and the young vine, which thou madest strong for thy selfe.
80:16	It is burnt with fire and cut downe: and they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
80:17	Let thine hande be vpon the man of thy right hande, and vpon the sonne of man, whome thou madest strong for thine owne selfe.
80:18	So will not we goe backe from thee: reuiue thou vs, and we shall call vpon thy Name.
80:19	Turne vs againe, O Lord God of hostes: cause thy face to shine and we shalbe saued.


80:1	To the chaunter vpon Sosanim, a testimonye and Psalme of Asaph. Heare O thou shepherde of Israel, thou that leadest Ioseph lyke a shepe. shewe thy selfe also thou that syttest vpon the Cherubyns.
80:2	Before Ephraim, Ben Iamin, and Manasses: stere vp thy strength, and come helpe vs.
80:3	Turne vs agayne, O God, shewe the lyght of thy countenaunce, and we shalbe whole.
80:4	O Lorde God of Hostes, how longe wilt thou be angry wyth thy people that prayeth?
80:5	Thou fedest them with the bred of teares and geuest them plenteousnes of teares to dryncke.
80:6	Thou hast made vs a very stryfe vnto oure neyghbours, and oure enemyes laugh vs to scorne.
80:7	Turne vs agayne, thou God of Hostes, shewe the lyght of thy countenaunce, and we shalbe whole.
80:8	Thou hast brought a vyne out of Egypte, thou hast cast out the Heathen, and planted it.
80:9	Thou madest rowme for it: and whan it had taken rote it fylled the lande.
80:10	The hylles were couered with the shadowe of it, and the bowes therof were lyke the goodly Cedre trees.
80:11	She stretched out her braunches vnto the see, and her bowes vnto the ryuer.
80:12	Why hast thou then broken downe her hedge, that all they whych go by, plucke of her grapes?
80:13	The wylde bore out of the wood doth rote it vp, and the wylde beastes of the felde deuoureth it.
80:14	Turne the agayne, thou God of Hostes, loke downe from heauen, beholde, and vyset thys vyne.
80:15	And the place of the vynyarde that thy ryght hande hath planted, and the braunch that thou madest so stronge for thy selfe..
80:16	It is brent wyth fyre, and cut downe: and they shall perysh at the rebuke of thy countenaunce.
80:17	Let thy hand be vpon the man of thy ryght hande, & vpon the sonne of man whom thou madest so strong for thyne awne selfe.
80:18	And so will not we go back from the: Oh let vs lyue, & we shall call vpon thy mame.
80:19	Turne vs agayne, O Lorde God of Hostes, shewe the lyght of thy countenaunce, & we shalbe whole.
