84:1	How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
84:2	My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
84:3	Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
84:4	Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
84:5	Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
84:6	Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
84:7	They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
84:8	O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
84:9	Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
84:10	For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
84:11	For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
84:12	O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.


84:1	למנצח על הגתית לבני קרח מזמור׃ (84:2) מה ידידות משׁכנותיך יהוה צבאות׃
84:2	(84:3) נכספה וגם כלתה נפשׁי לחצרות יהוה לבי ובשׂרי ירננו אל אל חי׃
84:3	(84:4) גם צפור מצאה בית ודרור קן לה אשׁר שׁתה אפרחיה את מזבחותיך יהוה צבאות מלכי ואלהי׃
84:4	(84:5) אשׁרי יושׁבי ביתך עוד יהללוך סלה׃
84:5	(84:6) אשׁרי אדם עוז לו בך מסלות בלבבם׃
84:6	(84:7) עברי בעמק הבכא מעין ישׁיתוהו גם ברכות יעטה מורה׃
84:7	(84:8) ילכו מחיל אל חיל יראה אל אלהים בציון׃
84:8	(84:9) יהוה אלהים צבאות שׁמעה תפלתי האזינה אלהי יעקב סלה׃
84:9	(84:10) מגננו ראה אלהים והבט פני משׁיחך׃
84:10	(84:11) כי טוב יום בחצריך מאלף בחרתי הסתופף בבית אלהי מדור באהלי רשׁע׃
84:11	(84:12) כי שׁמשׁ ומגן יהוה אלהים חן וכבוד יתן יהוה לא ימנע טוב להלכים בתמים׃
84:12	(84:13) יהוה צבאות אשׁרי אדם בטח׃


84:1	To the Overseer. -- `On the Gittith By sons of Korah.' -- A Psalm. How beloved Thy tabernacles, Jehovah of Hosts!
84:2	My soul desired, yea, it hath also been consumed, For the courts of Jehovah, My heart and my flesh cry aloud unto the living God,
84:3	(Even a sparrow hath found a house, And a swallow a nest for herself, Where she hath placed her brood,) Thine altars, O Jehovah of Hosts, My king and my God.
84:4	O the happiness of those inhabiting Thy house, Yet do they praise Thee. Selah.
84:5	O the happiness of a man whose strength is in Thee, Highways `are' in their heart.
84:6	Those passing through a valley of weeping, A fountain do make it, Blessings also cover the director.
84:7	They go from strength unto strength, He appeareth unto God in Zion.
84:8	O Jehovah, God of Hosts, hear my prayer, Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
84:9	Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Thine anointed,
84:10	For good `is' a day in Thy courts, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.
84:11	For a sun and a shield `is' Jehovah God, Grace and honour doth Jehovah give. He withholdeth not good To those walking in uprightness.
84:12	Jehovah of Hosts! O the happiness of a man trusting in Thee.
