86:1[A prayer of Dauid.] Bow downe thine eare, O Lord, heare me: for I am poore & needy.
86:2Preserue my soule, for I am holy: O thou my God, saue thy seruant, that trusteth in thee.
86:3Be merciful vnto me, O Lord: for I cry vnto thee daily.
86:4Reioyce the soule of thy seruant: for vnto thee (O Lord) doe I lift vp my soule.
86:5For thou Lord art good, and ready to forgiue: and plenteous in mercie vnto all them that call vpon thee.
86:6Giue eare O Lord, vnto my prayer: and attend to the voice of my supplications.
86:7In the day of my trouble I will call vpon thee: for thou wilt answere mee.
86:8Among the gods there is none like vnto thee (O Lord:) neither are there any workes like vnto thy workes.
86:9All nations whom thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord: and shall glorifie thy Name.
86:10For thou art great, and doest wonderous things: thou art God alone.
86:11Teach me thy way, O Lord, I will walke in thy trueth: vnite my heart to feare thy Name.
86:12I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I wil glorifie thy Name for euermore.
86:13For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast deliuered my soule from the lowest hell.
86:14O God, the proud are risen against mee, and the assemblies of violent men haue sought after my soule: and haue not set thee before them.
86:15But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious: long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and trueth.
86:16O turne vnto me, and haue mercie vpon me, giue thy strength vnto thy seruant: and saue the sonne of thine handmaid.
86:17Shew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and bee ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

86:3Be mercifull vnto me O God: for I do call dayly vpon thee
86:4Comfort the soule of thy seruaunt: for vnto thee O Lord do I lift vp my soule
86:5For thou Lorde art good and gracious: and of great mercy vnto all them that call vpon thee
86:6Geue eare O God vnto my prayer: and be attentiue vnto the voyce of my humble petitions
86:7I call vpon thee in the day of my trouble: for thou hearest me
86:8Among the gods there is none like vnto thee O Lorde: there is not one that can do as thou doest
86:9All nations whom thou hast made, shall come and worship thee O Lorde: and shall glorifie thy name
86:10For thou art great and doest wonderous thinges: thou art God alone
86:11Teache me thy way O God, and I wyll walke in thy trueth: make my heart all one with thyne, that it may feare thy name
86:12I wyll acknowledge thee O Lorde my God with all my heart: and I wyl glorifie thy name for euer
86:13For great is thy mercy towarde me: and thou hast deliuered my soule from the lowest part of hell
86:14O God, the proude are rysen against me: a companie of outragious naughtipackes haue sought after my soule, and haue not set thee before their eyes
86:15But thou O Lorde art a God full of compassion and mercy: long yet thou be angry, plenteous in goodnes and trueth
86:16Turne thy face vnto me, and haue mercy vpon me: geue thy strength vnto thy seruaunt, and helpe the sonne of thine handmayde
86:17Shewe some good token of thy fauour towardes me, that they whiche hate me may see it and be ashamed: because thou God hast helped me, and comforted me

86:5For thou, Lord, art good and mercifull, and of great kindenes vnto all them, that call vpon thee.
86:6Giue eare, Lord, vnto my prayer, and hearken to the voyce of my supplication.
86:7In the day of my trouble I will call vpon thee: for thou hearest me.
86:8Among the gods there is none like thee, O Lord, and there is none that can doe like thy workes.
86:9All nations, whome thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorifie thy Name.
86:10For thou art great and doest wonderous things: thou art God alone.
86:11Teach me thy way, O Lord, and I will walke in thy trueth: knit mine heart vnto thee, that I may feare thy Name.
86:12I wil prayse thee, O Lord my God, with all mine heart: yea, I wil glorifie thy Name for euer.
86:13For great is thy mercie toward me, and thou hast deliuered my soule from the lowest graue.
86:14O God, the proude are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men haue sought my soule, and haue not set thee before them.
86:15But thou, O Lord, art a pitifull God and mercifull, slowe to anger and great in kindenes and trueth.
86:16Turne vnto me, and haue mercy vpon me: giue thy strength vnto thy seruant, and saue the sonne of thine handmayd.
86:17Shew a token of thy goodnes towarde me, that they which hate me, may see it, and be ashamed, because thou, O Lord, hast holpen me and comforted me.
