| 89:2 | For I haue said, Mercie shall bee built vp for euer: thy faithfulnesse shalt thou establish in the very heauens. |
| 89:3 | I haue made a couenant with my chosen: I haue sworne vnto Dauid my seruant. |
| 89:4 | Thy seed will I stablish for euer: and build vp thy throne to all generations. Selah. |
| 89:5 | And the heauens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulnes also in the congregation of the Saints. |
| 89:6 | For who in the heauen can be compared vnto the Lord? who among the sonnes of the mightie can be likened vnto the Lord? |
| 89:7 | God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the Saints: and to bee had in reuerence of all them that are about him. |
| 89:8 | O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like vnto thee? or to thy faithfulnesse round about thee? |
| 89:9 | Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waues thereof arise; thou stillest them. |
| 89:10 | Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slaine: thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arme. |
| 89:11 | The heauens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulnes thereof, thou hast founded them. |
| 89:12 | The North and the South, thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall reioyce in thy Name. |
| 89:13 | Thou hast a mighty arme: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. |
| 89:14 | Iustice and iudgement are the habitation of thy throne: mercie and trueth shall goe before thy face. |
| 89:15 | Blessed is the people that knowe the ioyfull sound: they shall walke O Lord in the light of thy countenance. |
| 89:16 | In thy name shall they reioyce all the day: and in thy righteousnes shall they be exalted. |
| 89:17 | For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy fauour our horne shall be exalted. |
| 89:18 | For the Lord is our defence: and the holy One of Israel is our king. |
| 89:19 | Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I haue laid helpe vpon one that is mightie: I haue exalted one chosen out of the people. |
| 89:20 | I haue found Dauid my seruant: with my holy oile haue I anointed him. |
| 89:21 | With whome my hand shall bee established: mine arme also shall strengthen him. |
| 89:22 | The enemie shall not exact vpon him: nor the sonne of wickednesse afflict him. |
| 89:23 | And I will beate downe his foes before his face: and plague them that hate him. |
| 89:24 | But my faithfulnesse and my mercy shalbe with him: and in my name shall his horne be exalted. |
| 89:25 | I will set his hand also in the sea: and his right hand in the riuers. |
| 89:26 | He shall crie vnto mee, Thou art my father: my God, and the rocke of my saluation. |
| 89:27 | Also I will make him my first borne: higher then the kings of the earth. |
| 89:28 | My mercy will I keepe for him for euermore: and my couenant shall stand fast with him. |
| 89:29 | His seed also will I make to indure for euer: and his throne as the dayes of heauen. |
| 89:30 | If his children forsake my lawe, and walke not in my iudgements; |
| 89:31 | If they breake my statutes, and keepe not my commandements: |
| 89:32 | Then will I visite their transgression with the rod, and their iniquitie with stripes. |
| 89:33 | Neuerthelesse, my louing kindnesse will I not vtterly take from him: nor suffer my faithfulnesse to faile. |
| 89:34 | My couenant will I not breake: nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lippes. |
| 89:35 | Once haue I sworne by my holinesse; that I will not lye vnto Dauid. |
| 89:36 | His seede shall endure for euer; and his throne as the sunne before me. |
| 89:37 | It shalbe established for euer as the Moone: and as a faithfull witnesse in heauen. Selah. |
| 89:38 | But thou hast cast off and abhorred: thou hast bene wroth with thine anointed. |
| 89:39 | Thou hast made voyd the couenant of thy seruant: thou hast profaned his crowne, by casting it to the ground. |
| 89:40 | Thou hast broken downe all his hedges: thou hast brought his strong holds to ruine. |
| 89:41 | All that passe by the way; spoile him: hee is a reproach to his neighbours. |
| 89:42 | Thou hast set vp the right hand of his aduersaries: thou hast made all his enemies to reioyce. |
| 89:43 | Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword: and hast not made him to stand in the battaile. |
| 89:44 | Thou hast made his glory to cease: and cast his throne downe to the ground. |
| 89:45 | The dayes of his youth hast thou shortned: thou hast couered him with shame. Selah. |
| 89:46 | How long, Lord, wilt thou hide thy selfe, for euer? shall thy wrath burne like fire? |
| 89:47 | Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vaine? |
| 89:48 | What man is he that liueth, and shall not see death? shall he deliuer his soule from the hand of the graue? Selah. |
| 89:49 | Lord, where are thy former louing kindnesses, which thou swarest vnto Dauid in thy trueth? |
| 89:50 | Remember (Lord) the reproach of thy seruants: how I doe beare in my bosome the reproache of all the mighty people. |
| 89:51 | Wherewith thine enemies haue reproached, O Lord: wherewith they haue reproached the foote-steppes of thine Annointed. |
| 89:52 | Blessed be the Lord for euermore, Amen, and Amen. |

| 89:6 | For who is equall to the Lord in the heauen? and who is like the Lord among the sonnes of the gods? |
| 89:7 | God is very terrible in the assemblie of the Saints, and to be reuerenced aboue all, that are about him. |
| 89:8 | O Lord God of hostes, who is like vnto thee, which art a mightie Lord, and thy trueth is about thee? |

| 89:16 | They shall reioyce continually in thy Name, and in thy righteousnes shall they exalt them selues. |
| 89:17 | For thou art the glory of their strength, and by thy fauour our hornes shall be exalted. |
| 89:18 | For our shield apperteineth to the Lord, and our King to the holy one of Israel. |
| 89:19 | Thou spakest then in a vision vnto thine Holy one, and saydest, I haue layde helpe vpon one that is mightie: I haue exalted one chosen out of the people. |
| 89:20 | I haue found Dauid my seruant: with mine holy oyle haue I anoynted him. |
| 89:21 | Therefore mine hande shall be established with him, and mine arme shall strengthen him. |

| 89:38 | But thou hast reiected and abhorred, thou hast bene angry with thine Anoynted. |
| 89:39 | Thou hast broken the couenant of thy seruant, and profaned his crowne, casting it on the ground. |
| 89:40 | Thou hast broken downe all his walles: thou hast layd his fortresses in ruine. |
| 89:41 | All that goe by the way, spoyle him: he is a rebuke vnto his neighbours. |
| 89:42 | Thou hast set vp the right hand of his enemies, and made all his aduersaries to reioyce. |
| 89:43 | Thou hast also turned the edge of his sworde, and hast not made him to stand in the battell. |
| 89:44 | Thou hast caused his dignitie to decay, and cast his throne to the ground. |
| 89:45 | The dayes of his youth hast thou shortned, and couered him with shame. Selah. |
| 89:46 | Lord, howe long wilt thou hide thy selfe, for euer? shall thy wrath burne like fire? |
| 89:47 | Remember of what time I am: wherefore shouldest thou create in vaine all the children of men? |
| 89:48 | What man liueth, and shall not see death? shall hee deliuer his soule from the hande of the graue? Selah. |
| 89:49 | Lord, where are thy former mercies, which thou swarest vnto Dauid in thy trueth? |
| 89:50 | Remember, O Lord, the rebuke of thy seruants, which I beare in my bosome of all the mightie people. |

| 89:2 | For I haue sayde: mercy shalbe set vp for euer, thy trueth shalt thou stablysh in the heauens. |
| 89:3 | I haue made a couenaunt wyth my chosen, I haue sworne vnto Dauid my seruaunt. |

| 89:5 | O Lorde the very heauens shall prayse thy wonderous worckes, & thy trueth in the congregacyon of the saynctes. |
| 89:6 | For who is he amonge the cloudes, that shall be compared vnto the Lorde? |
| 89:7 | And what is he amonge the goddes, that shalbe lyke vnto the Lorde? |
| 89:8 | God is very greatly to be feared in the councell of the sayntes and to be had in reuerence of all them that are aboute hym. |
| 89:9 | O Lord God of Hostes, who is lyke vnto the? thy trueth (most myghtie lord) is on euery syde. |
| 89:10 | Thou rulest the ragynge of the see, thou stillest the waues therof, when they aryse. |
| 89:11 | Thou hast subdued Egypte and destroyed it, thou hast scatred thyne enemyes abroad wyth thy myghtie arme. |
| 89:12 | The heauens are thyne, the earth also is thyne: thou hast layed the foundacyon of the rounde worlde, and all that therin is. |

| 89:14 | Thou hast a myghtie arme, stronge is thy hande, and hye is thy ryght hande. |
| 89:15 | Ryghteousnes and equite is the habitacyon of thy seate, mercy and trueth shall go before thy face. |
| 89:16 | Blessed is the people (O Lorde) that can reioyse in the: they shall walke in the lyght of thy countenaunce. |
| 89:17 | Theyr delyte shalbe daylye in thy name, & in thy ryghteousnesse shall they make theyr boast. |
| 89:18 | For thou art the glory of theyr strength, & in thy louynge kyndnesse thou shalt lyft vp oure hornes. |
| 89:19 | For the Lord is oure defence, The holy one of Israel is oure kynge. |
| 89:20 | Thou spakest somtyme in vysyons vnto thy saynctes, and saydest: I haue layed helpe vpon one that is myghty, I haue exalted one chosen out of the people. |
| 89:21 | I haue founde Dauid my seruaunt: with my holy oyle haue I anoynted him. |
| 89:22 | My hand shall holde hym fast, and myne arme shall strengthen hym: |
| 89:23 | The enemye shall not be able to do hym violence, the sonne of wickednesse shall not hurte hym. |
| 89:24 | I shall smyte downe hys foes before hys face, and plage them that hate hym. |
| 89:25 | My trueth also and my mercy shalbe wyth hym, and in my name shall hys horne be exalted. |
| 89:26 | I wyll set hys dominion also in the see, and hys ryght hande in the floudes. |
| 89:27 | He shall call me: thou art my father, my God, & my stronge saluacion. |
| 89:28 | And I wyll make hym my fyrst borne, hyer then the kynges of the earth. |
| 89:29 | My mercy wyll I kepe for hym for euermore, & my couenaunt shall stande fast wyth hym. |

| 89:33 | I wyll vyset theyr offences with the rod and theyr synne wyth scourges. |
| 89:34 | Neuerthelesse, my louynge kyndnesse will I not vtterly take from hym, ner suffre my trueth to fayle. |
| 89:35 | My couenaunt wyll I not breake, nor alter the thinge that is gone out of my lyppes. |
| 89:36 | I haue sworne once by my holynesse, that I wyll not fayle Dauid. |

| 89:40 | Thou hast broken the couenaunt of thy seruaunt, cast his crowne to the grounde. |
| 89:41 | Thou hast ouerthrowne all hys hedges, and broken downe hys stronge holdes. |
| 89:42 | All they that go by, spoyle hym, and he is become a rebuke vnto hys neyghboures. |
| 89:43 | Thou hast set vp the ryght hande of hys enemyes: & made all hys aduersaryes to reioyce. |

| 89:48 | O remembre, how shorte my tyme is, wherfore hast thou made all men for naught? |
| 89:49 | What man is he that lyueth, and shall not se death? and shall he deliuer his awne soule from the hande of hell? Selah. |
| 89:50 | Lorde, where are thy olde louyng kyndnesses, which thou sworest vnto Dauid in thy treuth? |
| 89:51 | Remember (Lorde) the rebuke that thy seruauntes haue & how I do beare in my bosome thy rebukes of many people. |
| 89:52 | Wher with thyne enemies haue blasphemed the, and sclaunder the fotesteppes of thyne anoynted. Praysed be the Lord for euermore: Amen: Amen. |
