Psalms - Chapter: 94

>
94:1O Lord God, to whome vengeance belongeth: O God to whome vengeance belongeth, shew thy selfe.
94:2Lift vp thy selfe, thou iudge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
94:3Lord, how long shall the wicked? how long shall the wicked triumph?
94:4How long shal they vtter, and speake hard things? and all the workers of iniquitie boast themselues?
94:5They breake in pieces thy people, O Lord: and afflict thine heritage.
94:6They slay the widowe and the stranger: and murder the fatherlesse.
94:7Yet they say, The Lord shall not see: neither shall the God of Iacob regard it.
94:8Understand, yee brutish among the people: and ye fooles, when will ye be wise?
94:9He that planted the eare, shall he not heare? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
94:10He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? hee that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
94:11The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man: that they are vanitie.
94:12Blessed is the man whome thou chastenest, O Lord: and teachest him out of thy Law:
94:13That thou mayest giue him rest from the dayes of aduersitie: vntill the pit be digged for the wicked.
94:14For the Lord will not cast off his people: neither will he forsake his inheritance.
94:15But iudgement shall returne vnto righteousnesse: and all the vpright in heart shall follow it.
94:16Who will rise vp for mee against the euill doers? or who will stand vp for me against the workers of iniquitie?
94:17Unlesse the Lord had bene my helpe: my soule had almost dwelt in silence.
94:18When I said, My foote slippeth: thy mercie, O Lord, held me vp.
94:19In the multitude of my thoughts within me, thy comforts delight my soule.
94:20Shal the throne of iniquitie haue fellowship with thee: which frameth mischiefe by a lawe?
94:21They gather themselues together against the soule of the righteous: and condemne the innocent blood.
94:22But the Lord is my defence: and my God is the rocke of my refuge.
94:23And hee shall bring vpon them their owne iniquitie, and shall cut them off in their owne wickednesse: yea the Lord our God shall cut them off.

94:1O God the Lord of all auengeaunce: the Lorde of all auengeaunce shewe thy [glorious maiestie.
94:2Be exalted O thou iudge of the world: and rewarde the proude after their deseruyng
94:3O God howe long shall the vngodly: howe long shall the vngodly triumph
94:4All such as be workers of iniquitie: they babble, they prate shoutly, they make boastes of them selues
94:5They oppresse thy people O God: and they afflict thine heritage
94:6They murther the wyddowe and the straunger: & put the fatherlesse to death
94:7And they say, tushe the Lorde seeth it not: neither doth the God of Iacob vnderstande it
94:8Understande ye vnwyse among the people: O ye fooles, when wyll ye be well aduised
94:9He that hath planted the eare, shall he not heare? yf he shapeth the eye, shall he not see
94:10He that chasteneth the heathen, shall not he punishe? it is he that teacheth man knowledge
94:11God knoweth the thoughtes of man: that they are but vanitie
94:12Blessed is the man O Lorde, whom thou wylt chasten: and whom thou wylt instruct in thy lawe
94:13That thou mayest geue hym patience in tyme of aduersitie: vntyll the pyt be digged vp for the vngodly
94:14For God wyll not reiect his people: neither wil he forsake his inheritaunce
94:15For iudgement shalbe reduced vnto iustice: and after it shall all such as be vpryght of heart [be iudged.
94:16Who will ryse vp with me agaynst the malicious? or who wyll take my part agaynst workers of wickednesse
94:17If God had not ben an ayde vnto me: it had not fayled much but my soule had dwelled in silence
94:18But when I sayde my foote hath slypped: thy mercy O God helde me vp
94:19In the multitude of my cogitations from the bottome of my heart: thy comfortes dyd recreate my soule
94:20Shall the seate of wickednesse haue any thyng to do with thee: which seate maketh wrong to be enacted for a law
94:21They flocke together agaynst the soule of the ryghteous: and condemne the innocent blood
94:22But God is to me a refuge: and my Lorde is the rocke of my confidence
94:23And he wyll recompence them their wickednesse, and destroy them in their owne malice: God our Lorde wyll destroy them

94:1O Lord God the auenger, O God the auenger, shewe thy selfe clearely.
94:2Exalt thy selfe, O Iudge of the worlde, and render a reward to the proude.
94:3Lord how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
94:4They prate and speake fiercely: all the workers of iniquitie vaunt themselues.
94:5They smite downe thy people, O Lord, and trouble thine heritage.
94:6They slay the widowe and the stranger, and murder the fatherlesse.
94:7Yet they say, The Lord shall not see: neither will the God of Iaakob regard it.
94:8Vnderstande ye vnwise among the people: and ye fooles, when will ye be wise?
94:9Hee that planted the eare, shall hee not heare? or he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
94:10Or he that chastiseth the nations, shall he not correct? hee that teacheth man knowledge, shall he not knowe?
94:11The Lord knoweth the thoughtes of man, that they are vanitie.
94:12Blessed is the man, whom thou chastisest, O Lord, and teachest him in thy Lawe,
94:13That thou mayest giue him rest from the dayes of euill, whiles the pitte is digged for the wicked.
94:14Surely the Lord will not faile his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
94:15For iudgement shall returne to iustice, and all the vpright in heart shall follow after it.
94:16Who will rise vp with me against the wicked? or who will take my part against the workers of iniquitie?
94:17If the Lord had not holpen me, my soule had almost dwelt in silence.
