106:1	Praise ye the Lord. O giue thankes vnto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
106:2	Who can vtter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew foorth all his praise?
106:3	Blessed are they that keepe iudgement: and he that doeth righteousnesse at all times.
106:4	Remember me, O Lord, with the fauour that thou bearest vnto thy people: O visite me with thy saluation:
106:5	That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may reioyce in the gladnesse of thy nation: that I may glory with thine inheritance.
106:6	Wee haue sinned with our fathers: we haue committed iniquitie, we haue done wickedly.
106:7	Our fathers vnderstood not thy wonders in Egypt, they remembred not the multitude of thy mercies: but prouoked him at the sea, euen at the Red-sea.
106:8	Neuerthelesse hee saued them for his Names sake: that hee might make his mighty power to be knowen.
106:9	He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried vp: so hee led them through the depthes, as through the wildernes.
106:10	And he saued them from the hand of him that hated them: and redeemed them from the hand of the enemie.
106:11	And the waters couered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
106:12	Then beleeued they his words: they sang his praise.
106:13	They soone forgate his works: they waited not for his counsell:
106:14	But lusted exceedingly in the wildernes: & tempted God in the desert.
106:15	And he gaue them their request: but sent leannesse into their soule.
106:16	They enuied Moses also in the campe: and Aaron the Saint of the Lord.
106:17	The earth opened and swallowed vp Dathan: and couered the company of Abiram.
106:18	And a fire was kindled in their company: the flame burnt vp the wicked.
106:19	They made a calfe in Horeb: and worshipped the molten image.
106:20	Thus they changed their glory, into the similitude of an oxe that eateth grasse.
106:21	They forgate God their Sauiour: which had done great things in Egypt:
106:22	Wonderous workes in the lande of Ham: and terrible things by the red Sea.
106:23	Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach: to turne away his wrath, lest hee should destroy them.
106:24	Yea, they despised the pleasant land: they beleeued not his word:
106:25	But murmured in their tents: and hearkened not vnto the voyce of the Lord.
106:26	Therefore he lifted vp his hande against them: to ouerthrow them in the wildernesse:
106:27	To ouerthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
106:28	They ioyned themselues also vnto Baal-Peor: and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
106:29	Thus they prouoked him to anger with their inuentions: and the plague brake in vpon them.
106:30	Then stood vp Phinehas, and executed iudgement: and so the plague was stayed.
106:31	And that was counted vnto him for righteousnesse: vnto all generations for euermore.
106:32	They angred him also at the waters of strife: so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
106:33	Because they prouoked his spirit: so that hee spake vnaduisedly with his lippes.
106:34	They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:
106:35	But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their workes.
106:36	And they serued their idoles: which were a snare vnto them.
106:37	Yea they sacrificed their sonnes, and their daughters vnto deuils,
106:38	And shed innocent blood, euen the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whome they sacrificed vnto the idoles of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
106:39	Thus were they defiled with their owne works: and went a whoring with their owne inuentions.
106:40	Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people: insomuch that he abhorred his owne inheritance.
106:41	And he gaue them into the hand of the heathen: and they that hated them, ruled ouer them.
106:42	Their enemies also oppressed them: and they were brought into subiection vnder their hand.
106:43	Many times did he deliuer them: but they prouoked him with their counsell, and were brought low for their iniquitie.
106:44	Neuertheles he regarded their affliction: when he heard their crie.
106:45	And hee remembred for them his couenant: and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
106:46	He made them also to be pitied, of all those that caried them captiues.
106:47	Saue vs, O Lord our God, and gather vs from among the heathen to giue thankes vnto thy holy Name: and to triumph in thy praise.
106:48	Blessed bee the Lord God of Israel from euerlasting to euerlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

106:2	Who can expresse the noble actes of the Lord, or shewe forth all his prayse?
106:3	Blessed are they that keepe iudgement, and doe righteousnesse at all times.

106:10	And he saued them from ye aduersaries hand, and deliuered them from ye hand of the enemie.
106:11	And the waters couered their oppressours: not one of them was left.
106:12	Then beleeued they his wordes, and sang prayse vnto him.
106:13	But incontinently they forgate his workes: they wayted not for his counsell,
106:14	But lusted with concupiscence in the wildernes, and tempted God in the desert.
106:15	Then he gaue them their desire: but he sent leannesse into their soule.
106:16	They enuied Moses also in the tentes, and Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
106:17	Therefore the earth opened and swallowed vp Dathan, and couered the companie of Abiram.
106:18	And the fire was kindled in their assembly: the flame burnt vp the wicked.
106:19	They made a calfe in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
106:20	Thus they turned their glory into the similitude of a bullocke, that eateth grasse.
106:21	They forgate God their Sauiour, which had done great things in Egypt,
106:22	Wonderous woorkes in the lande of Ham, and fearefull things by the red Sea.
106:23	Therefore he minded to destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stand in the breach before him to turne away his wrath, least he shoulde destroy them.
106:24	Also they contemned that pleasant land, and beleeued not his worde,
106:25	But murmured in their tentes, and hearkened not vnto the voice of the Lord.
106:26	Therefore hee lifted vp his hande against them, to destroy them in the wildernesse,
106:27	And to destroy their seede among the nations, and to scatter them throughout the countries.
106:28	They ioyned themselues also vnto Baalpeor, and did eate the offrings of the dead.
106:29	Thus they prouoked him vnto anger with their owne inuentions, and the plague brake in vpon them.
106:30	But Phinehas stoode vp, and executed iudgement, and the plague was staied.
106:31	And it was imputed vnto him for righteousnes from generation to generation for euer.
106:32	They angred him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was punished for their sakes,
106:33	Because they vexed his spirite, so that hee spake vnaduisedly with his lippes.
106:34	Neither destroied they the people, as the Lord had commanded them,
106:35	But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their workes,
106:36	And serued their idoles, which were their ruine.
106:37	Yea, they offered their sonnes, and their daughters vnto deuils,
106:38	And shed innocent blood, euen the blood of their sonnes, and of their daughters, whome they offred vnto the idoles of Canaan, and the lande was defiled with blood.
106:39	Thus were they steined with their owne woorkes, and went a whoring with their owne inuentions.
106:40	Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, and he abhorred his owne inheritance.
106:41	And hee gaue them into the hande of the heathen: and they that hated them, were lordes ouer them.
106:42	Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were humbled vnder their hand.
106:43	Many a time did hee deliuer them, but they prouoked him by their counsels: therefore they were brought downe by their iniquitie.
106:44	Yet hee sawe when they were in affliction, and he heard their crie.
106:45	And he remembred his couenant towarde them and repented according to the multitude of his mercies,
106:46	And gaue them fauour in the sight of all them that lead them captiues.
106:47	Saue vs, O Lord our God, and gather vs from among the heathen, that we may praise thine holy Name, and glorie in thy praise.
106:48	Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for euer and euer, and let all the people say, So be it. Praise yee the Lord.


106:1	Prayse the Lorde. O geue thancke vnto the Lorde, for he is gracyous, and his mercy endureth for euer.
106:2	Who can expresse the noble actes of the Lorde or shewe forth all hys prayse?
106:3	Blessed are they that allwaye kepe iudgement, and do ryghteousnes.
106:4	Remembre me, O Lorde, accordynge to the fauoure that thou bearest vnto thy people: O vyset me wyth thy saluacyon.
106:5	That I maye se the felicite of thy chosen, and reioyse in the gladnesse of thy people, & geue thankes wyth thyne enherytaunce.
106:6	We haue synned wyth oure fathers, we haue done amysse, and dealt wyckedly.
106:7	Oure fathers regarded not thy wonders in Egypte, nether kepte they thy greate goodnesse in remembraunce: but were disobedient at the see, euen at the reed see.
106:8	Neuertheles, he helped them for hys names sake, that he myght make hys power to be knowne.
106:9	He rebuked the reed see also, & it was dryed vp: so he ledd them thorow the depe as thorow a wyldernesse.
106:10	And he saued them from the aduersaries hande, and delyuered them from the hande of the enemye.
106:11	As for those that troubled them, the waters ouerwhelmed them, there was not one of them left.
106:12	Then beleued they hys wordes, and sange prayse vnto hym.
106:13	But wythin a whyle they forgat hys worckes, & wolde not abyde hys councell.
106:14	But lust came vpon them in the wildernesse, and they tempted God in the deserte.
106:15	And he gaue them their desyre, and sent leanesse withall in to their soule.
106:16	They angred Moses also in the tentes, and Aaron the sayncte of the Lorde.
106:17	So the earth opened, and swalowed vp Dathan, & couered the congregacion of Abiram.
106:18	And the fyre was kyndled in their company, the flame brent vp the vngodly.
106:19	They made a calfe in Horeb, and worshipped the molten ymage.
106:20	Thus they turned their glory into the similitude of a calfe, that eateth haye.
106:21	And they forgat God their Sauioure, which had done so greate thynges in Egipte.
106:22	Wonderous worckes in the lande of Ham, and fearfull thinges by the reed see.
106:23	So he sayd he wolde haue destroyed them, had not Moses his chosen stande before hym in that gappe: to turne awaye his wrathful indignacion, lest he shulde destroye them.
106:24	Yee they thought scorne of that pleasaunt lande, and gaue no credence vnto his word.
106:25	But murmured in their tentes, and herkened not vnto the voyce of the Lorde.
106:26	Then lyft he vp his hand agaynst them, to ouerthrowe them in the wildernes.
106:27	To cast out their sede amonge the nacions, and to scater them in the landes.
106:28	They ioyned them selues vnto Baal Peor, and eate the offeringes of the deed.
106:29	Thus they prouoked him vnto anger with their awne inuencions and the plage was greate amonge them.
106:30	Then stode vp Phinehes and prayed, & so the plage ceased.
106:31	And that was counted vnto him for righteousnesse, amonge all posterites for euermore.
106:32	They angered him also at the waters of stryfe, so that he punyshed Moses for their sakes.
106:33	Because they prouoked his sprete, so that he spake vnaduisedly with his lyppes.
106:34	Nether destroyed they the Heathen, as the Lorde commaunded them.
106:35	But were myngled among the Heathen, and lerned their worckes.
106:36	In so moch that they worshipped their ydoles, which turned to their awne decaye.
106:37	Yee they offred their sonnes and their daughters vnto deuel
106:38	And shed innocent bloude, euen the bloude of their sonnes & of their daughters, whom they offred vnto the ydoles of Canaan, and the lande was defyled with bloud.
106:39	Thus were they stayned with their awne worckes, and went a whorynge wyth their awne inuencions.
106:40	Therfore was the wrath of the Lorde kynled agaynst hys people, in so moch that he abhorred hys awne enheritaunce.
106:41	And he gaue them ouer into the hande of the Heathen, and they that hated them, were lordes ouer them.
106:42	Their enemyes oppressed them, and had them in subieccion.
106:43	Many a tyme did he delyuer them, but they rebelled agaynst him with their awne inuencions, & were brought downe in their wyckednesse.
106:44	Neuerthelesse, when he sawe their aduersyte, he herde their complaynte.
106:45	He thought vpon his couenaunt, & pytied them, accordyng vnto the multitude of his mercyes.
106:46	Yee he made all those that had ledd them awaye captiue, to pytie them.
106:47	Delyuer vs (O Lorde oure God) and gather vs from amonge the Heathen: that we maye geue thanckes to thy holy name, & make oure boast of thy prayse.
106:48	Blessed be the Lorde God of Israel from euerlastyng and worlde without ende, & let all people saye: Amen, Amen. Prayse the Lord
