107:1	O giue thankes vnto the Lord, for hee is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
107:2	Let the redeemed of the Lord say so: whome he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemie:
107:3	And gathered them out of the lands, from the East and from the West: from the North and from the South.
107:4	They wandred in the wildernes, in a solitary way: they found no citie to dwell in.
107:5	Hungry and thirstie: their soule fainted in them.
107:6	Then they cryed vnto the Lord in their trouble: and he deliuered them out of their distresses.
107:7	And hee led them forth by the right way: that they might goe to a citie of habitation.
107:8	Oh that men would praise the Lord, for his goodnesse: and for his wonderfull workes to the children of men.
107:9	For he satisfieth the longing soule: and filleth the hungry soule with goodnesse.
107:10	Such as sit in darknesse and in the shadowe of death: being bound in affliction and yron:
107:11	Because they rebelled against the words of God: and contemned the counsell of the most high:
107:12	Therefore hee brought downe their heart with labour: they fel downe, and there was none to helpe.
107:13	Then they cryed vnto the Lord in their trouble: and he saued them out of their distresses.
107:14	Hee brought them out of darkenesse, and the shadowe of death: and brake their bands insunder.
107:15	Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodnesse: and for his wonderfull workes to the children of men.
107:16	For he hath broken the gates of brasse: and cut the barres of yron in sunder.
107:17	Fooles, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
107:18	Their soule abhorreth all manner of meate: and they drawe neere vnto the gates of death.
107:19	Then they crie vnto the Lord in their trouble: he saueth them out of their distresses.
107:20	Hee sent his word, and healed them: and deliuered them from their destructions.
107:21	Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodnesse: and for his wonderfull workes, to the children of men.
107:22	And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thankesgiuing: and declare his workes with reioycing.
107:23	They that goe downe to the sea in shippes: that doe businesse in great waters:
107:24	These see the workes of the Lord: and his wonders in the deepe.
107:25	For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy winde: which lifteth vp the waues thereof.
107:26	They mount vp to the heauen: they goe downe againe to the depthes: their soule is melted because of trouble.
107:27	They reele to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man; and are at their wits end.
107:28	Then they cry vnto the Lord in their trouble: and hee bringeth them out of their distresses.
107:29	He maketh the storme a calme: so that the waues thereof are still.
107:30	Then are they glad, because they be quiet: so he bringeth them vnto their desired hauen.
107:31	Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodnesse; and for his wonderfull workes to the children of men:
107:32	Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the Elders.
107:33	Hee turneth riuers into a wildernesse: and the water springs into dry ground:
107:34	A fruitfull land into barrennesse; for the wickednesse of them that dwell therein.
107:35	He turneth the wildernesse into a standing water: and dry ground into water-springs.
107:36	And there he maketh the hungry to dwell; that they may prepare a citie for habitation,
107:37	And sowe the fields, and plant vineyards; which may yeeld fruits of increase.
107:38	He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly: and suffreth not their cattell to decrease.
107:39	Againe, they are minished and brought lowe through oppression, affliction and sorrow.
107:40	Hee powreth contempt vpon princes: and causeth them to wander in the wildernesse, where there is no way.
107:41	Yet setteth he the poore on high from affliction: and maketh him families like a flocke.
107:42	The righteous shall see it, and reioyce; and all iniquitie shall stop her mouth.
107:43	Who so is wise, and will obserue those things; euen they shall vnderstand the louing kindenesse of the Lord.


107:1	Praise the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
107:2	Let them, which haue bene redeemed of the Lord, shewe how he hath deliuered them from the hand of the oppressour,
107:3	And gathered them out of the lands, from the East and from the West, from the North and from the South.
107:4	When they wandered in the desert and wildernesse out of the waie, and founde no citie to dwell in,
107:5	Both hungrie and thirstie, their soule fainted in them.
107:6	Then they cried vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he deliuered them from their distresse,
107:7	And led them forth by the right way, that they might goe to a citie of habitation.
107:8	Let them therefore confesse before ye Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men.
107:9	For he satisfied the thirstie soule, and filled the hungrie soule with goodnesse.
107:10	They that dwell in darkenesse and in the shadowe of death, being bounde in miserie and yron,
107:11	Because they rebelled against the wordes of the Lord, and despised the counsell of the most High,
107:12	When he humbled their heart with heauines, then they fell downe and there was no helper.
107:13	Then they cried vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he deliuered them from their distresse.
107:14	He brought them out of darkenes, and out of the shadowe of death, and brake their bandes asunder.
107:15	Let them therefore cofesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men.
107:16	For hee hath broken the gates of brasse, and brast the barres of yron asunder.
107:17	Fooles by reason of their transgression, and because of their iniquities are afflicted.
107:18	Their soule abhorreth al meat, and they are brought to deaths doore.
107:19	Then they crie vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he deliuereth them from their distresse.
107:20	He sendeth his worde and healeth them, and deliuereth them from their graues.
107:21	Let them therefore cofesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderful workes before the sonnes of men,
107:22	And let them offer sacrifices of praise, and declare his workes with reioycing.
107:23	They that goe downe to the sea in ships, and occupie by the great waters,
107:24	They see the woorkes of the Lord, and his wonders in the deepe.
107:25	For he commaundeth and raiseth the stormie winde, and it lifteth vp the waues thereof.
107:26	They mount vp to the heauen, and descend to ye deepe, so that their soule melteth for trouble.
107:27	They are tossed to and from, and stagger like a drunken man, and all their cunning is gone.
107:28	Then they crie vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresse.
107:29	He turneth the storme to calme, so that the waues thereof are still.
107:30	When they are quieted, they are glad, and hee bringeth them vnto the hauen, where they would be.
107:31	Let them therfore confesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men.
107:32	And let them exalt him in the Congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the Elders.
107:33	He turneth the floodes into a wildernesse, and the springs of waters into drinesse,
107:34	And a fruitfull land into barrennes for the wickednes of them that dwell therein.
107:35	Againe hee turneth the wildernesse into pooles of water, and the drie lande into water springs.
107:36	And there he placeth the hungrie, and they builde a citie to dwell in,
107:37	And sowe the fieldes, and plant vineyardes, which bring foorth fruitfull increase.
107:38	For he blesseth them, and they multiplie exceedingly, and he diminisheth not their cattell.
107:39	Againe men are diminished, and brought lowe by oppression, euill and sorowe.
107:40	He powreth contempt vpon princes, and causeth them to erre in desert places out of the way.
107:41	Yet he raiseth vp the poore out of miserie, and maketh him families like a flocke of sheepe.
107:42	The righteous shall see it, and reioyce, and all iniquitie shall stoppe her mouth.
107:43	Who is wise that hee may obserue these things? for they shall vnderstand the louing kindnesse of the Lord.


107:1	O geue thanckes vnto the Lord, for he is gracyous, and his mercy endureth for euer.
107:2	Let them geue thanckes whom the Lorde hath redemed, and delyuered from the hande of the enemye.
107:3	And gathered them out of the landes, from the East, and from the west, from the North and from the South.
107:4	They went a straye in the wildernesse out of the waye, & founde no citie to dwel in.
107:5	Hongrie & thirstye: their soule faynted in them.
107:6	So they cryed vnto the Lorde in their trouble, and he delyuered them from their distresse.
107:7	He led them forth by the ryght waye, that they myght go to the cytie where they dwelt.
107:8	O that men wolde therfor prayse the Lorde, for his goodnes, and declare the wonders that he doth for the chyldren of men.
107:9	For he satisfyed the emptie soule, and filled the hongrye soule with goodnesse.
107:10	Soch as syt in darcknesse & in the shadow of death, beyng fast bound in mysery & yron.
107:11	Because they rebelled agaynst the wordes of the Lorde, and lyghtly regarded the councell of the most hyghest,
107:12	He also brought downe their hart thorow heuinesse: they fell downe, & there was noue to helpe them.
107:13	So whan they cried vnto the Lord in their trouble, he deliuered them out of their distresse
107:14	For he brought them out of darcknesse & out of the shadow of death, & brake their bondes in sonder.
107:15	O that men wold therfore prayse the Lorde for hys goodnesse: & declare the wonders that he doth for the children of men.
107:16	For he hath broken the gates of brasse, and smytten the barres of yron in sonder,
107:17	Folysh men are plaged for their offence, & because of their wyckednesse.
107:18	Their soule abhorred all maner of meat, and they were euen hard at deathes dore.
107:19	So whan they cryed vnto the Lord in their trouble, he delyuered them out of their dystresse.
107:20	He sent his word, and healed them, and they were saued from their destruccion.
107:21	O that men wold therfore prayse the Lorde for hys goodnesse, and declare the wonders that he doth for the chyldren of men.
107:22	That they wold offre vnto hym the sacrifyce of thanckesgeuyng, and tell out hys worckes wt gladnes.
107:23	They that go downe to the see in shyppes, and occupie their busynesse in great waters.
107:24	These men se the worckes of the Lord, and his wonders in the deape.
107:25	For at his word, the stormy wynd ariseth, which lyfteth vp the waues therof.
107:26	They are caryed vp to the heauen, and downe agayne to the deape, their soule melteth awaye because of the trouble.
107:27	They rele to and fro, and stacker lyke a droncken man, & are at their wittes ende.
107:28	So whan they crye vnto the Lord in their trouble, he delyuereth them out of their distresse.
107:29	For he maketh the storme to ceasse, so that the waues therof are styll.
107:30	Then are they glad because they be at rest, and so he bryngeth them vnto the hauen where they wolde be.
107:31	O that men wold therfore prayse the Lorde for hys goodnes, and declare the wondres that he doth for the children of men.
107:32	That they wolde exalte him also in the congregacion of the people, and loaue him in the seat of the elders.
107:33	Which turneth the floudes into a wildernesse: and dryeth vp the water sprynges.
107:34	A frutefull lande maketh he baren, for the wyckednesse of them that dwell therin.
107:35	Agayne, he maketh the wildernes a standynge water, and water sprynges of a drye ground.
107:36	And there he setteth the hongrie, that they maye buylde them a cytie to dwell in
107:37	That they maye sowe their londe, and plante vyneyardes, to yelde them frutes of increase.
107:38	He blesseth them, so that they multiplye exceadingly, and suffreth not their catell to decrease.
107:39	And agayne: when they are minished and brought lowe thorow oppression, thorow eny plag or trouble.
107:40	Though he suffre them to be euell intreated thorowe tyrauntes, and lett them wandre out of the waye in the wildernesse.
107:41	Yet helpeth he the poore out of misery, & maketh him housholdes lyke a flocke of shepe.
107:42	The ryghteous wyll consydre this, and reioyse, & the mouth of all wyckednesse shall be stopped.
107:43	Who so is wyse, wyll pondre these thynges: and they shall vnderstand the louyng kyndnesses of the Lord.
