>
116:1I loue the Lord: because hee hath heard my voice, & my supplications.
116:2Because hee hath inclined his eare vnto mee: therefore will I call vpon him as long as I liue.
116:3The sorrowes of death compassed me, and the paines of hell gate hold vpon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
116:4Then called I vpon the Name of the Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee deliuer my soule.
116:5Gracious is the Lord, and righteous: yea our God is mercifull.
116:6The Lord preserueth the simple: I was brought low, and hee helped me.
116:7Returne vnto thy rest, O my soule: for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
116:8For thou hast deliuered my soule from death, mine eyes from teares, and my feete from falling.
116:9I wil walke before the Lord: in the land of the liuing.
116:10I beleeued, therfore haue I spoken: I was greatly afflicted.
116:11I said in my haste: All men are lyers.
116:12What shall I render vnto the Lord: for all his benefits towards mee?
116:13I will take the cup of saluation: and call vpon the Name of the Lord.
116:14I will pay my vowes vnto the Lord: now in the presence of all his people.
116:15Precious in ye sight of the Lord: is the death of his Saints.
116:16Oh Lord, truely I am thy seruant, I am thy seruant, and the sonne of thy handmayde: thou hast loosed my bonds.
116:17I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thankes-giuing: and will call vpon the Name of the Lord.
116:18I will pay my vowes vnto the Lord: now in the presence of all his people:
116:19In the Courts of the Lords house, in the middes of thee, O Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

116:3When the snares of death copassed me, and the griefes of the graue caught me: when I founde trouble and sorowe.
116:4Then I called vpon the Name of the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, deliuer my soule.
116:5The Lord is mercifull and righteous, and our God is full of compassion.
116:6The Lord preserueth the simple: I was in miserie and he saued me.
116:7Returne vnto thy rest, O my soule: for the Lord hath bene beneficiall vnto thee,
116:8Because thou hast deliuered my soule from death, mine eyes from teares, and my feete from falling.
116:9I shall walke before the Lord in the lande of the liuing.
116:10I beleeued, therefore did I speake: for I was sore troubled.
116:11I said in my feare, All men are lyers.
116:12What shall I render vnto the Lord for all his benefites toward me?
116:13I will take the cup of saluation, and call vpon the Name of the Lord.
116:14I will pay my vowes vnto the Lord, euen nowe in the presence of all his people.
116:15Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saintes.
116:16Beholde, Lord: for I am thy seruant, I am thy seruant, and the sonne of thine handmaide: thou hast broken my bondes.
116:17I will offer to thee a sacrifice of prayse, and will call vpon the Name of the Lord.
116:18I will pay my vowes vnto the Lord, euen nowe in the presence of all his people,
116:19In the courtes of ye Lords house, euen in the middes of thee, O Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

 

116:1I Am well pleased, that the Lorde hath herd the voyce of my prayer.

116:3The snares of death compased me round about, and the paynes of hell gat hold vpon me,
116:4I shall fynde trouble and heuynesse, and I shall call vpon the name of the Lorde (O Lord) I besech the delyuer my soule.
116:5Gracious is the Lorde, and ryghteous, yee oure God is mercyfull.
116:6The Lord preserueth the symple: I was in mysery, and he helped me.
116:7Turne agayne then vnto thy rest, O my soule, for the Lorde hath rewarded the.
116:8And why thou hast delyuered my soule from death, mine eyes from teares, and my fete from fallyng.
116:9I will walcke before the Lord, in the land of the lyuyng.
116:10I beleued, and therfore wyll I speake, but I was sore troubled.
116:11I sayd in my hast: All men are lyers.
116:12What reward shall I geue vnto the Lorde, for all the benefytes that he hath done vnto me?
116:13I wyll receaue the cuppe of saluacion, and call vpon the name of the Lord.
116:14I wyll paye my vowes now in the presence of all his people, ryght deare in the syght of the Lorde is the death of hys saynctes.
116:15Behold (O Lorde) how that I am thy seruaunt: I am thy seruaunt,
116:16and the sonne of thy handmayde, thou hast broken my bondes in sonder.
116:17I wyll offre to the, the sacrifyce of thanckesgeuynge, and wyll call vpon the name of the Lord.
116:18I wyll paye my vowes vnto the Lord in the syght of all his people,
116:19in the courtes of the Lordes house, euen in the myddest of the, O Ierusalem. Prayse the Lorde.
