127:1	A songe of Salomon of the stayres. Except the Lorde buylde the house, their laboure is but lost that buylde it.
127:2	Except the Lorde kepe the cytie the watchman waketh but in vayne.
127:3	It is but lost laboure that ye haste to ryse vp early, and so late take rest, and eate the breade of carefulnesse: for so he gyueth hys beloued sleape.
127:4	Lo, chyldren and the frute of the wombe are an herytage and gyfte, that commeth of the Lorde.
127:5	Lyke as the arowes in the hande of the gyaunt, euen so are the yonge chyldren. Happy is the man, that hath hys quyuer full of them, they shall not be ashamed, when they speake wyth theyr enemyes in the gate.


127:1	The title of the hundrid and seuene and twentithe salm. The song of greces. Blessid ben alle men, that dreden the Lord; that gon in hise weies.
127:2	For thou schalt ete the trauels of thin hondis; thou art blessid, and it schal be wel to thee.
127:3	Thi wijf as a plenteous vyne; in the sidis of thin hous. Thi sones as the newe sprenges of olyue trees; in the cumpas of thi bord.
127:4	Lo! so a man schal be blessid; that dredith the Lord.
127:5	The Lord blesse thee fro Syon; and se thou the goodis of Jerusalem in alle the daies of thi lijf.

127:5	Like as the arowes in the hode of the giaute, eue so are the yonge childre. Happie is the ma, yt hath his quyuer full of them: they shal not be ashamed, when they speake with their enemies in the gate.
