130:2If Y feelide not mekely; but enhaunside my soule. As a childe wenyde on his modir; so yelding be in my soule.

130:1A song of degrees. Out of the deepe places haue I called vnto thee, O Lord.
130:2Lord, heare my voyce: let thine eares attend to the voyce of my prayers.
130:3If thou, O Lord, straightly markest iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
130:4But mercie is with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
130:5I haue waited on the Lord: my soule hath waited, and I haue trusted in his worde.
130:6My soule waiteth on the Lord more then the morning watch watcheth for the morning.
130:7Let Israel waite on the Lord: for with the Lord is mercie, and with him is great redemption.
130:8And he shall redeeme Israel from all his iniquities.
