138:1	I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
138:2	I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
138:3	In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
138:4	All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
138:5	Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
138:6	Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
138:7	Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
138:8	The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.


138:1	לדוד אודך בכל לבי נגד אלהים אזמרך׃
138:2	אשׁתחוה אל היכל קדשׁך ואודה את שׁמך על חסדך ועל אמתך כי הגדלת על כל שׁמך אמרתך׃
138:3	ביום קראתי ותענני תרהבני בנפשׁי עז׃
138:4	יודוך יהוה כל מלכי ארץ כי שׁמעו אמרי פיך׃
138:5	וישׁירו בדרכי יהוה כי גדול כבוד יהוה׃
138:6	כי רם יהוה ושׁפל יראה וגבה ממרחק יידע׃
138:7	אם אלך בקרב צרה תחיני על אף איבי תשׁלח ידך ותושׁיעני ימינך׃
138:8	יהוה יגמר בעדי יהוה חסדך לעולם מעשׂי ידיך אל תרף׃

138:2	I bow myself toward Thy holy temple, And I confess Thy name, For Thy kindness, and for Thy truth, For Thou hast made great Thy saying above all Thy name.
138:3	In the day I called, when Thou dost answer me, Thou dost strengthen me in my soul `with' strength.
138:4	O Jehovah, all kings of earth confess Thee, When they have heard the sayings of Thy mouth.
138:5	And they sing in the ways of Jehovah, For great `is' the honour of Jehovah.
138:6	For high `is' Jehovah, and the lowly He seeth, And the haughty from afar He knoweth.
138:7	If I walk in the midst of distress Thou quickenest me, Against the anger of mine enemies Thou sendest forth Thy hand, And Thy right hand doth save me.
138:8	Jehovah doth perfect for me, O Jehovah, Thy kindness `is' to the age, The works of Thy hands let not fall!
