10:1The Prouerbes of Solomon: A wise sonne maketh a glad father: but a foolish sonne is the heauinesse of his mother.
10:2Treasures of wickednesse profit nothing: but righteousnes deliuereth from death.
10:3The Lord will not suffer the soule of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
10:4Hee becommeth poore that dealeth with a slacke hand: but the hand of the diligent, maketh rich.
10:5Hee that gathereth in Summer, is a wise sonne: but hee that sleepeth in haruest, is a sonne that causeth shame.
10:6Blessings are vpon the head of the iust: but violence couereth the mouth of the wicked.
10:7The memorie of the iust is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
10:8The wise in heart will receiue commaundements: but a prating foole shall fall.
10:9He that walketh vprightly, walketh surely: but he that peruerteth his wayes, shalbe knowen.
10:10Hee that winketh with the eye, causeth sorrow: but a prating foole shall fall.
10:11The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence couereth the mouth of the wicked.
10:12Hatred stirreth vp strifes: but loue couereth all sinnes.
10:13In the lips of him that hath vnderstanding, wisedome is found: but a rod is for the backe of him that is voyd of vnderstanding.
10:14Wise men lay vp knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is neere destruction.
10:15The rich mans wealth is his strong citie: the destruction of the poore is their pouertie.
10:16The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruite of the wicked to sinne.
10:17He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but hee that refuseth reproofe, erreth.
10:18Hee that hideth hatred with lying lippes, and he that vttereth a slander, is a foole.
10:19In the multitude of words there wanteth not sinne: but he that refraineth his lippes, is wise.
10:20The tongue of the iust is as choise siluer: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
10:21The lippes of the righteous feed many: but fooles die for want of wisedome.
10:22The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and hee addeth no sorrow with it.
10:23It is as a sport to a foole to doe mischiefe: but a man of vnderstanding hath wisedome.
10:24The feare of the wicked, it shall come vpon him: but the desire of the righteous shalbe granted.
10:25As the whirlewinde passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an euerlasting foundation.
10:26As vineger to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
10:27The feare of the Lord prolongeth dayes: but the yeeres of the wicked shalbe shortened.
10:28The hope of the righteous shall bee gladnesse: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
10:29The way of the Lord is strength to the vpright: but destruction shall bee to the workers of iniquitie.
10:30The righteous shall neuer bee remooued: but the wicked shall not inhabite the earth.
10:31The mouth of the iust bringeth foorth wisedome: but the froward tongue shalbe cut out.
10:32The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardnesse.

10:4An idle hande maketh poore: but a quicke labouring hande maketh riche
10:5Who so gathereth in sommer is wyse: but he that is sluggishe in haruest, bringeth hym selfe to confusion
10:6Blessinges are vpon the head of the righteous: and the mouth of the vngodly kepeth mischiefe in secrete
10:7The memoriall of the iust shall haue a good report: but the name of the vngodly shall stincke
10:8A wyse man wyll receaue warning: but a prating foole shalbe punished
10:9He that walketh vprightly, walketh surely: but whoso goeth a wrong way, shalbe knowen
10:10He that winketh with his eye, wyll cause sorowe: but he that hath a foolishe mouth, shalbe beaten
10:11The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but the mouth of the vngodly kepeth mischiefe in secrete
10:12Hatred stirreth vp strifes: but loue couereth the multitude of sinnes
10:13In the lippes of him that hath vnderstanding, a man shall finde wysdome: but the rod belongeth to the backe of the foolishe
10:14Wyse men lay vp knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is nye destruction
10:15The riche mans goodes are his strong holde: but their owne pouertie feareth the poore
10:16The labour of the righteous tendeth to lyfe: but the fruites of the vngodly, to sinne
10:17Nurture kepeth the way of lyfe: but he that refuseth to be nurtured, deceaueth hym selfe
10:18He that hydeth hatred with lying lippes, and he that speaketh slaunder, is a foole
10:19Where much babblyng is, there must needes be offence: and he that refrayneth his lippes, is wyse
10:20The tongue of the iust man is as tried siluer: but the heart of the vngodly is a thyng of naught
10:21The lippes of the ryghteous feede a whole multitude: but fooles shall dye in their owne follie
10:22The blessyng of the Lorde maketh riche: and bryngeth no sorowe of heart with it
10:23A foole doth wickedly, and maketh but a sport of it: but wisdome ruleth the man that hath vnderstandyng
10:24The thing that the vngodly is afraide of, shall come vpon hym: but the ryghteous shall haue their desire
10:25As the tempest, so passeth away the vngodly and is not: but the ryghteous remayneth sure for euer
10:26As vineger is to the teeth, & as smoke is vnto the eyes: euen so is a sluggishe person to them that sendeth him foorth
10:27The feare of the Lorde maketh a long lyfe: but the yeres of the vngodly shalbe shortened
10:28The patient abydyng of the righteous shalbe turned to gladnesse: but the hope of the vngodly shall perishe
10:29The way of the Lord geueth courage vnto the godly: but it is a feare for wicked doers
10:30The ryghteous shall neuer be ouerthrowen: but the vngodly shall not remayne in the lande
10:31The mouth of the iust wyll be talking of wisdome: but the tongue of the frowarde shall be cut out
10:32The lippes of the ryghteous vtter that which is acceptable: but the mouth of the vngodly speaketh frowarde thynges

10:5He that gathereth in sommer, is the sonne of wisdome: but he that sleepeth in haruest, is the sonne of confusion.
10:6Blessings are vpon the head of the righteous: but iniquitie shall couer the mouth of the wicked.
10:7The memoriall of the iust shalbe blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rotte.
10:8The wise in heart will receiue commandements: but the foolish in talke shalbe beaten.
10:9He that walketh vprightly, walketh boldely: but he that peruerteth his wayes, shalbe knowen.
10:10He that winketh with the eye, worketh sorowe, and he yet is foolish in talke, shalbe beaten.
10:11The mouth of a righteous man is a welspring of life: but iniquitie couereth the mouth of the wicked.
10:12Hatred stirreth vp contentions: but loue couereth all trespasses.
10:13In the lippes of him that hath vnderstanding wisdome is founde, and a rod shalbe for the backe of him that is destitute of wisedome.
10:14Wise men lay vp knowledge: but ye mouth of the foole is a present destruction.
10:15The riche mans goodes are his strong citie: but the feare of the needie is their pouertie.
10:16The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: but the reuenues of the wicked to sinne.
10:17He that regardeth instruction, is in the way of life: but he that refuseth correction, goeth out of the way.
10:18He that dissembleth hatred with lying lips, and he that inuenteth slaunder, is a foole.
10:19In many wordes there cannot want iniquitie: but he that refrayneth his lippes, is wise.
10:20The tongue of the iust man is as fined siluer: but the heart of the wicked is litle worth.
10:21The lippes of the righteous doe feede many: but fooles shall die for want of wisedome.
10:22The blessing of the Lord, it maketh riche, and he doeth adde no sorowes with it.
10:23It is as a pastime to a foole to doe wickedly: but wisedome is vnderstanding to a man.
10:24That which the wicked feareth, shall come vpon him: but God wil graunt the desire of the righteous.
10:25As the whirlewinde passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is as an euerlasting foundation.
10:26As vineger is to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the slouthful to them that send him.
10:27The feare of the Lord increaseth the dayes: but the yeeres of the wicked shalbe diminished.
10:28The patient abiding of the righteous shall be gladnesse: but the hope of the wicked shall perish.
10:29The way of the Lord is strength to the vpright man: but feare shall be for the workers of iniquitie.
10:30The righteous shall neuer be remooued: but the wicked shall not dwell in the land.
10:31The mouth of the iust shall be fruitfull in wisdome: but the tongue of the froward shall be cut out.
10:32The lips of the righteous knowe what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh froward things.
