Proverbs - Chapter: 12

>
12:1Whoso loueth instruction, loueth knowledge: but he that hateth reproofe, is brutish.
12:2A good man obtaineth fauour of the Lord: but a man of wicked deuices will he condemne.
12:3A man shall not bee established by wickednesse: but the roote of the righteous shall not be mooued.
12:4A vertuous woman is a crowne to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed, is as rottennesse in his bones.
12:5The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
12:6The words of the wicked are to lie in waite for blood: but the mouth of the vpright shall deliuer them.
12:7The wicked are ouerthrowen, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
12:8A man shall be commended according to his wisedome: but hee that is of a peruerse heart, shall be despised.
12:9Hee that is despised and hath a seruant, is better then he that honoureth himselfe, and lacketh bread.
12:10A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruell.
12:11Hee that tilleth his land, shall bee satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vaine persons, is void of vnderstanding.
12:12The wicked desireth the net of euill men: but the roote of the righteous yeeldeth fruit.
12:13The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lippes: but the iust shall come out of trouble.
12:14A man shall bee satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompence of a mans hands shall bee rendred vnto him.
12:15The way of a foole is right in his owne eyes: but he that hearkeneth vnto counsell, is wise.
12:16A fooles wrath is presently knowen: but a prudent man couereth shame.
12:17He that speaketh trueth, sheweth foorth righteousnesse: but a false witnesse, deceit.
12:18There is that speaketh like the pearcings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
12:19The lippe of trueth shall bee established for euer: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
12:20Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine euill: but to the counsellours of peace, is ioy.
12:21There shall no euill happen to the iust: but the wicked shall bee filled with mischiefe.
12:22Lying lippes are abomination to the Lord: but they that deale truely, are his delight.
12:23A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fooles proclaimeth foolishnesse.
12:24The hand of the diligent shall beare rule: but the slouthfull shall bee vnder tribute.
12:25Heauinesse in the heart of man maketh it stoope: but a good word maketh it glad.
12:26The righteous is more excellent then his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.
12:27The slouthfull man rosteth not that which he tooke in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
12:28In the way of righteousnesse is life, and in the path-way thereof there is no death.

12:3A man can not endure in vngodlinesse: but the roote of the ryghteous shall not be moued
12:4A huswifely woman is a crowne vnto her husbande: but she that behaueth her selfe vnhonestly, is as corruption in his bones
12:5The thoughtes of the ryghteous are ryght: but the imaginations of the vngodly are deceptfull
12:6The talkyng of the vngodly is howe they may lay wayte for blood: but the mouth of the righteous will deliuer the
12:7God ouerturneth the estate of the wicked, and they stande not: but the house of the ryghteous shall stande
12:8A man shalbe commended for his wisdome: but a foole shalbe dispised
12:9He that is dispised and is yet his owne man, is better then the glorious that lacketh bread
12:10A ryghteous man regardeth the lyfe of his cattell: but the vngodly haue cruell heartes
12:11He that tylleth his lande, shall haue plenteousnesse of bread: but he that foloweth idlenesse is a very foole
12:12The desire of the vngodly is a net of euyls: but the roote of the ryghteous bryngeth foorth fruite
12:13The wicked falleth into the snare thorowe the malice of his owne mouth: but the iust shall escape out of all perill
12:14Man shalbe satisfied with good thinges: by the fruite of his mouth, and after the workes of his handes shall he be rewarded
12:15The way of a foole is strayght in his owne eyes: but he that hearkeneth vnto counsayle is wise
12:16A foole vttereth his wrath in all the haste: but a discrete man couereth his owne shame
12:17A iust man wyll tell the trueth and shewe the thyng that is ryght: but a false witnesse deceaueth
12:18A slaunderous person pricketh lyke a sworde: but a wise mans tongue is wholsome
12:19The lippe of trueth shalbe stable for euer: but a dissemblyng tongue is soone chaunged
12:20Deceipt is in the heart of them that imagine euyll: but to the counsaylers of peace shalbe ioy
12:21There shall no aduersitie happen vnto the iust: but the vngodly shalbe fylled with miserie
12:22The Lorde abhorreth lying lippes: but they that deale truely please hym
12:23A discrete man doth hyde knowledge: but the heart of fooles blabbeth out foolishnesse
12:24A diligent hande shall beare rule: but the idle shalbe vnder tribute
12:25Heauinesse discourageth the heart of man: but a good worde maketh it glad agayne
12:26The ryghteous excelleth his neyghbour: but the way of the vngodly wyll deceaue them selues
12:27The deciptfull man shall not coste that he toke in huntyng: but the riches of the iust man is of great value
12:28In the way of ryghteousnesse there is life: & in the same way there is no death

12:11He that tilleth his lande, shalbe satisfied with bread: but he that followeth the idle, is destitute of vnderstanding.
12:12The wicked desireth the net of euils: but the roote of the righteous giueth fruite.
12:13The euill man is snared by the wickednesse of his lips, but the iust shall come out of aduersitie.
12:14A man shalbe satiate with good things by the fruite of his mouth, and the recompence of a mans hands shall God giue vnto him.
12:15The way of a foole is right in his owne eyes: but he that heareth counsell, is wise.
12:16A foole in a day shall be knowen by his anger: but he that couereth shame, is wise.
12:17He that speaketh trueth, will shewe righteousnes: but a false witnes vseth deceite.
12:18There is that speaketh wordes like the prickings of a sworde: but the tongue of wise men is health.
12:19The lip of trueth shall be stable for euer: but a lying tongue varieth incontinently.
12:20Deceite is in the heart of them that imagine euill: but to the counsellers of peace shall be ioye.
12:21There shall none iniquitie come to the iust: but the wicked are full of euill.
12:22The lying lips are an abomination to the Lord: but they that deale truely are his delite.
12:23A wise man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of the fooles publisheth foolishnes.
12:24The hand of the diligent shall beare rule: but the idle shalbe vnder tribute.
12:25Heauines in the heart of man doeth bring it downe: but a good worde reioyceth it.
12:26The righteous is more excellent then his neighbour: but the way of the wicked will deceiue them.
12:27The deceitfull man rosteth not, that hee tooke in hunting: but the riches of the diligent man are precious.
12:28Life is in the way of righteousnesse, and in that path way there is no death.
