Proverbs - Chapter: 13


13:1	A wise sonne heareth his fathers instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
13:2	A man shall eate good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soule of the transgressours, shall eate violence.
13:3	He that keepeth his mouth, keepeth his life: but hee that openeth wide his lips, shall haue destruction.
13:4	The soule of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soule of the diligent shall be made fat.
13:5	A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and commeth to shame.
13:6	Righteousnesse keepeth him that is vpright in the way: but wickednesse ouerthroweth the sinner.
13:7	There is that maketh himselfe rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himselfe poore, yet hath great riches.
13:8	The ransome of a mans life are his riches: but the poore heareth not rebuke.
13:9	The light of the righteous reioyceth: but the lampe of the wicked shall be put out.
13:10	Onely by pride commeth contention: but with the well aduised is wisedome.
13:11	Wealth gotten by vanitie shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour, shall increase.
13:12	Hope deferred maketh the heart sicke: but when the desire commeth, it is a tree of life.
13:13	Whoso despiseth the word, shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commaundement, shall be rewarded.
13:14	The lawe of the wise is a fountaine of life, to depart from the snares of death.
13:15	Good vnderstanding giueth fauour: but the way of transgressours is hard.
13:16	Euery prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a foole layeth open his folly.
13:17	A wicked messenger falleth into mischiefe: but a faithfull ambassadour is health.
13:18	Pouerty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproofe, shall be honoured.
13:19	The desire accomplished is sweet to the soule: but it is abomination to fooles to depart from euill.
13:20	He that walketh with wise men, shall be wise: but a companion of fooles shall be destroyed.
13:21	Euill pursueth sinners: but to the righteous, good shall be repayd.
13:22	A good man leaueth an inheritance to his childrens children: and the wealth of the sinner is layd vp for the iust.
13:23	Much food is in the tillage of the poore: but there is that is destroyed for want of iudgement.
13:24	He that spareth his rod, hateth his sonne: but he that loueth him, chasteneth him betimes.
13:25	The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soule: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

13:3	Hee that keepeth his mouth, keepeth his life: but he that openeth his lips, destruction shall be to him.
13:4	The sluggard lusteth, but his soule hath nought: but the soule of the diligent shall haue plentie.
13:5	A righteous man hateth lying wordes: but the wicked causeth slander and shame.
13:6	Righteousnesse preserueth the vpright of life: but wickednes ouerthroweth the sinner.
13:7	There is that maketh himselfe riche, and hath nothing, and that maketh himselfe poore, hauing great riches.
13:8	A man will giue his riches for the ransome of his life: but the poore cannot heare ye reproch.
13:9	The light of the righteous reioyceth: but the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
13:10	Onely by pride doeth man make contention: but with the well aduised is wisdome.
13:11	The riches of vanitie shall diminish: but he that gathereth with the hand, shall increase them.
13:12	The hope that is deferred, is the fainting of the heart: but when the desire commeth, it is as a tree of life.
13:13	He that despiseth the worde, hee shall be destroyed: but hee that feareth the commandement he shalbe rewarded.
13:14	The instruction of a wise man is as the welspring of life, to turne away from the snares of death.
13:15	Good vnderstanding maketh acceptable: but the way of the disobedient is hated.
13:16	Euery wise man will worke by knowledge: but a foole will spread abroade folly.
13:17	A wicked messenger falleth into euill: but a faithfull ambassadour is preseruation.
13:18	Pouertie and shame is to him that refuseth instruction: but hee that regardeth correction, shalbe honoured.
13:19	A desire accomplished deliteth ye soule: but it is an abomination to fooles to depart from euil.
13:20	He that walketh with the wise, shalbe wise: but a companion of fooles shalbe afflicted.
13:21	Affliction followeth sinners: but vnto the righteous God will recompense good.
13:22	The good man shall giue inheritance vnto his childrens children: and the riches of the sinner is layde vp for the iust.
13:23	Much foode is in the fielde of the poore: but the fielde is destroyed without discretion.
13:24	He that spareth his rodde, hateth his sonne: but he that loueth him, chasteneth him betime.
13:25	The righteous eateth to the contentation of his minde: but the belly of the wicked shall want.


13:1	A Wyse sonne wyll herken to hys fathers warnynge, but he that is scornefull, will not heare when he is reproued.
13:2	A good man shall enioye the frute of his mouth but he that hath a frowarde mynde, shalbe spoyled.
13:3	He that kepeth hys mouth kepeth hys lyfe: but who so openeth hys lyppes to euell, destroyeth hym selfe.
13:4	The slogarde wolde fayne haue, & cannot get hys desyre: but the soule of the diligent shall haue plenty.
13:5	A ryghteous man abhorreth lyes, but the vngodly shameth both other and hym selfe.
13:6	Ryghteousnesse kepeth the innocent in the waye, but vngodlynesse doth ouerthrowe the synner.
13:7	Some men are ryche, though they haue nothynge, agayne some men are poore, hauing greate ryches.
13:8	With goodes euery man delyuereth his lyfe, and the poore wyll not be reproued:
13:9	The lyght of the ryghteous maketh ioyfull, but the candle of the vngodly shalbe put out.
13:10	Amonge the proude there is euer stryfe, but amonge those that do all thynges with aduisement, there is wysdome.
13:11	Uaynlye gotten goddes are soone spent: but they that be gathered to gether with the hande, shall increace.
13:12	Longe taryenge for a thynge that is differred, greueth the herte: but when the desyre commeth: it is a tree of lyfe.
13:13	Whoso despyseth anye thinge, shalbe hurt for the same: but he that feareth the commaundement, shall haue the rewarde.
13:14	The lawe is a well of lyfe vnto the wyse, that it maye kepe hym from the snares of death:
13:15	Good vnderstandinge geueth fauour, but harde is the waye of the despysers.
13:16	A wyse man doth all thynges with discrecion, but a foole wyll declare hys foly.
13:17	An vngodly messaunger falleth into myschefe, but a faythfull ambassadour is wholsome.
13:18	He that thinketh scorne to be refourmed, commeth to pouerte & sname: but whoso regardeth correccion shall come to honoure.
13:19	When a desyre is brought to passe, it delyteth the soule: but fooles counte it abhominacyon to departe from euell.
13:20	He that goeth in the company of wyse men, shalbe wyse: but whoso is a companyon of fooles, shalbe hurte.
13:21	Myschefe foloweth vpon synners, but the ryghteous shall haue a good rewarde.
13:22	He that is vertuous, leaueth an enheritaunce vnto hys chylders children and the ryches of the synner is layed vp for the iust.
13:23	There is plenteousnesse of fode in the feldes of the poore, but the felde not well ordred is without frute.
13:24	He that spareth the rodde, hateth hys sonne: but whoso loueth hym, chastiseth hym by tymes.
13:25	The ryghteous eateth, and is satisfyed, but the bely of the vngodly hath neuer ynough,
